I am trying to capture a very short video to upload for a bug report for a game and I cannot open the video, It just won't run.

It says it needs a different codec, and neither of the available chooseable codecs in video capture are physically able to be opened by my computer unless I pay for a premium program which shouldn't be the case.

It has some weird prefix before the MP4 which I then deleted and then just renamed it name.mp4, but it still refuses to open unless I pay money.

Why would they put it in a format that's completely unopenable???? And how the heck do I get my video? I just want to put in a bug report.

This problem has only been going on for around 3 weeks I believe.(4 now.)

As a quick disclaimer my router is NOT the problem as I have 3 other windows devices that all are using it perfectly. No other device has this issue(update my legion go started having this problem.......)

The problem manifests through me using the internet like normal and then it randomly dropping connection and then refusing to reconnect. The error message is always "couldn't connect to network" And then a couple minutes later it'll let me connect again and then disconnect again later.

Here are all the things I have tried (that I can immediately remember):

Updated all drivers and bios

Reset router (I am almost certain it's not a router issue as all my other windows devices connect to it perfectly fine

Restarted computer

Forgot network and then completely renewed the connection

Full network reset

Went into device manager and services and looked at each of the components shut down and completely restarted all the functions

I still have over 30 GB of memory space so it wouldn't be the SSD making issues

I have stuff I need to do and would love to do and I cannot for the life of me find out any possible reason why this issue is happening or how to fix it 🙏 I would appreciate any and all help. This problem is so detrimental I cannot do my business. I cannot play games. I can't do anything because it will randomly disconnect and then completely refuse to let me use the internet at all on my home Wi-Fi. I really really need help and there's zero options for me right now and I cannot try anything else because I don't have anything else I can possibly try. My hotspot always works but I cannot use that.

I am trying to log into my Google account on a website and it normally doesn't force me to verify my identity on my verifier device, and it made me do a "number sent to your notifications" and I did so every time until it locked me out I didnt get a single notification. I then did the thing where you tap yes on your verifier device (THE DEVICE I WAS USING) and it didn't do anything every single time until they completely locked me out. Then there was one final option or it said to go into your settings and click on a setting option that does not exist at all on my device.

So... Seemingly my options are: "screw off you don't get to use your own account" "never use this account on this website ever again(I absolutely need it) or do This over and over again every time it finally unlocks me to try again and maybe never get in on a timer of me NEEDING to get in for my business.

Is there anything at all I can do????? I need to get into this account as soon as possible

Whenever I go into a new new or revised area or dungeon, I can almost guarantee there will be at least one ballista. Times it will be ballista's being fire covered by another ballista being fire covered by another ballista 😭 I'm sick of it why do they love ballistas so damn much?

Am I just crazy? Is it just a skill issue or am I right to be really annoyed at the triple ballista setups?

I keep going through the Divine Tower and the godskin guy has a modded weapon skill that is completely unstaggerable, completely undodgeable, given the space you have and the immense speed and range you cannot even run for your life away. Once it uses that skill you are garunteed to be hit and it comboes you instantly into black flame tornado. Genuinely if you don't have the damage to kill him before he uses it how do you survive???? Last time I fought him he slammed it 4 times in a row until I died.

I am in lyndell, and convergence slightly changes random things to make navigation even harder in one of the most maze like locations. there are normally only two ways to reach the fortified Manor in general and both of them are artificially blocked off and I see no possible way there, and I need to get there?! can anyone help

I unfortunately do not have a picture of it, (i closed immediately) but I clicked nothing, the webpage for elden ring convergence was just up and i was doing something else...

it somehow hyperlinked me away to a page titled "click to allow" on the tab header and a black screen with just a "prove you are human" checkbox... It was incredibly suspicious and i closed the entire browser promptly.

was this something benign, or what???

I have been waiting to buy a Windows tablet for quite a while for various reasons. I am finally ready to consider buying one and almost all of the available ones are now exclusively made with Snapdragon chips.

I know that snapdragon chips, especially in their early release as windows CPUs had and incredibly large suite of compatibility issues, And this is a very big problem for me as I use a large amount of more niche programs and I need to be able to use programs that I have designed for Windows be able to be run on Windows.

I cannot get any straight answers online about the compatibility and I always get told that it has an emulation software if I have any compatibility issues by reviewers and the companies themselves.

If I use programs like aseprite with a ton of scripts and plugins will it work? Will complex art apps with large live brushes like rebelle need to emulate to completely stifle performance and make using them impossible? Will an open source program like krita work, or an incredibly niche software like GrafX2 work?

I'm also questioning whether the NPU that's touted on every single advertisement of them will do anything at all if I don't use A.I. or is it just gonna be sitting there pretty and doing nothing? Will there be a significant drawback in performance in the main chip that they excused by putting power in the NPU?

I came here because I cannot find any real answers in person or online elsewhere and I'd really appreciate if anyone has any knowledge or experience on this, thank you so much :)
