I have not watered my garden in the last two days because we were expecting rain last night.

I don’t know what kind of orange(?) this is. I’ve had it in ground 5 years and this is the first year flowered let alone fruited. Is the color from sunburn or are they starting to ripen?

My handsome boy had matted ears so he had a little trim.

There was plenty of wind and lightning but missed out on the rain.

Banana trees seems happy. The leaves weren’t shredded this time.

I’ve had this pad for two years and has been zero growth. Fertilized in the spring and start of summer.

What else do I need to do?

Woke up to survey the damage. The storm knocked over my roselle hibiscus and Mexican sunflowers. I hope they survive. The banana leaves got shredded. I forgot to get pics but all my figs popped open. Luckily the fence and roof appear to have sustained no damage.

Are the new leaves failing? Is it over or under watering?

Are so lackluster that they are being photobombed by plains coreopsis and awnless bush sunflower.

Been collecting lemon beebalm seeds from my pocket prairie. I’m going to use these to start another pocket in the backyard.

With their black and orange they remind me of Halloween.

It tasted like kiwi to me but my kinds said it tasted like sweet green grape. My neighbor gifted to me from a cutting I gave him. I am jealous because I haven’t had a fruit set in 3 years.

They are loving this heat. Me not so much.
This is the most showy of the three.

How do I safely separate these pups. They appear to be really close to the mother plant.
Is a regular shovel the best tool?
Do I need to disinfect the shovel with 70% alcohol?
