Are there problems linking Lifetime Passes to digital passes?

Question: Got the non-resident Senior Lifetime Pass from the National Park Service website.

I cannot pair it with the digital pass on the recreation site. When I do, it says that the pass has already registered.

I have tried to get help from the National Park Service website customer support but they gave up on helping, and will no longer respond to me emails. Seems like they can't figure it out. I did ask that they send me a new card and I can return the old one.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Trying to figure out how to maximize two days with Narrows and eBikes

First visit to Zion National Park, the first weekend in November. Hoping there will be fewer crowds that time of year. Staying at the Springfield Hampton Inn

One day, we want to do the Narrows hike. The next day, general sightseeing, preferably with eBikes.

Looking to probably rent our e-bikes and gear from Zion Cycles, just outside of the park. They let you park there all day, which is a plus. I hear the TREK bikes are exclusive to them (which I could be wrong about), and they are more preferable.

We are going to rent bibs, boots, poles, and whatever else from Zion Cycles as well.

I am surprised to see eBikes bundled in packages along with Narrows gear. Why would you rent an eBike if you are going to be doing an all-day hike in the Narrows? Aren't you paying an entire day's rental for the eBike for minimal use, or is the eBike heavily discounted in these packages?

Wouldn't we be better off renting the eBike on the day we aren't doing the Narrows hike?

I’d love some advice on how to make the most of our two days at the park.  Thanks to all of you, in advance, who offer advice.

Why did I install Scrypted only to find this...?

Hello everyone!

I am a Google Nest User, paying $100 a year for the Nest Aware subscription, though this year I got a break and Nest is only charging customers $50. Next year it goes back up to $100 and there could be a price increase.

So, I decided to try and beat the system and install Scrypted on my Ugreen NAS.

I literally spent hours setting up Scrypted with Gemini AI, paying a $5 Google developer fee to get the needed Client ID.

I then installed the NVR plugin—as that's what Gemini told me to do—only to find out that its license starts at $40 a year for (I think) four cameras and then $10 more for each additional one. I have six cameras.

So, after all this work, I am finding that I am still going to have to pay a fee for cloud storage access on my server.

Is there an alternative? Am I missing something?
