I had a long week, long day, hadn’t eaten, and just spent 10 minutes fighting with self check out. It was just past 7pm and while stopped at a light a group of youths pulled up next to me with their windows open. The kid in the back said, “Hey, man.” I said, “Wassap yall. How’s it going?” They ALL replied politely. We talked for a moment. I asked if they were all buckled, and we blasted our speakers to each other to share what we were listening to. The light turned green and we said our good byes. Mood fixed and I felt such relief that the kids are going to be alright. Thanks friendly teens from the burg. Thanks kind parents who are doing their best. 😭

If I wanted to soak a singular bean, or perhaps at most one dozen beans, each of different type, do I follow the standard bean soaking procedure of leaving them in water for ~8 hours?
