Hello everyone! I'm very excited to announce my first track uploaded to Soundcloud! This is the first time any of my music has been released to the public, and I'm very happy to share it.
Grand Life is an inspiring track about breaking free of the expectations held upon you about the future. This is still very much a work in progress, but I wanted to share what I have so far, even if it ain't very good.
I would really appreciate if people could listen to and give some feedback on the song, that would mean to me.
Thank you in advance!
I really don't get why so many people love this album so much, and I've heard so many people say "OK Computer is one of the best albums of all time!" but I don't really get it.
I think that this is an alright album, but not a great one. Majority of the songs (eg. Paranoid Android and Tourist) just didn't hold my attention and focus for their full length, but it has some songs that I liked, those being Exit Music, Electioneering, Fitter Happier, and No Surprises. Other than those songs, the rest of them I either didn't like or I personally thought were pretty average.
I didn't love the album because the songs didn't hold my interest for the whole time. I didn't find most of the songs catchy, which is something that I'm pretty big about and love, and I found that a lot of the extra sounds put into the songs were just distracting from the music and not needed. I also don't love Thom Yorke's vocal deliver, it's just not for me. I also thought that majority of the album was an emotional monotone and didn't really change the emotion from when it started.
I was a bit disappointed after listening to the album that I didn't like it that much. I get that other people like it, and I think it's okay that they like it, but it just wasn't for me. I think a major part of it is that I don't normally listen to that style of music. I normally listen to albums such as Static And Silence (The Sundays), Duran Duran (Duran Duran), ...And Justice For All (Metallica), Blood Orange (Freya Ridings), Original cast recording of Hamilton. I could go on.
I don't think that the album was super bad, but it certainly wasn't my favourite
I really don't get why so many people glaze this album, and I've heard so many people say "OK Computer is one of the best albums of all time!" but I don't really get it.

I think that this is an alright album, but not a great one. A few of the songs (eg. Paranoid Android and Tourist) are just too long to be engaging for me, but it has some songs that I really liked, those being Exit Music, Electioneering, Fitter Happier, and No Surprises. Other than those songs, the rest of them I either didn't like or were pretty average. Hate me all you want, but this album is super mid and I don't love it
Edit: Just to clarify, I'm fine with 5 minute songs, I'm a musical theatre kid, and I love plenty of songs that are 5 minutes or longer than that. The 5 minutes of those songs just weren't interesting enough for me to like, and Radiohead is not a band that I normally listen to
Edit 2: Again, it's not that the songs are too long, it's just that they didn't hold my interest for the entire length. I like plenty of longer songs but they hold my interest. Just because I don't personally like the album doesn't mean that you have to have a go at me for it, it just didn't land with me, and that should be fine. Don't shit on my music taste because it's different to yours and you think that yours is objectively right, despite music being a subjective thing

Hello citizens of r/MusicalTheatre! My name is Will, I am 16 years old, and for the last year I have been working on my original dystopian musical, Beyond These Walls. I am happy to announce that I have finally completed work on the first of 6 section of the musical, and I am here to share my work with you. This google drive contains the full draft script, character list for the section, all of the song instrumentals for the section, as well as vocal scores for each song.

I am looking for critique and feedback on the following:
Story - Do you understand the world? Did the story and it's structure intrigue you? Did the ending want to make you know what happens next?
Characters - Who was your favourite character? Did each character feel different and unique? Did Libertias' motivation make sense?
Music - Which song/moment stood out? Did the songs feel memorable? Did any song feel too long?
Pacing - Did moments drag? Were there any moments you wanted more of?
I thank you all so much in advance and hope you enjoy the start of the musical!!!
