Incompatible/invalid imei problem

Hi everybody! I’m planning to bring multiple phones to Metro but have some issue with two of the phone’s imei with their network compatibility checker.

A bit of background is that these two phones are both iPhone 13 Pro Max but it was bought outside the US so it’s probably missing the n71 band and hence why It may not be in the data base. However, we’re on T-Mobile prepaid and it still works fine with n41 and LTE and we do understand the limitation but still want to proceed.

I contacted Metro support online and the agent said that i would need to bring the phone to the store to have it scanned into the inventory and then the phone will show up as compatible with the network and i could continue online. The thing is that i heard some pretty bad thing about the store and the agent reassure me that I don’t necessarily need to active the service for that to be done and that I can ask the store to add it onto Metro’s system and then do everything online.

I was just wondering if anybody have this issue before and y’all’s take on whether I should go to the store or not.

Safari OTA update

It seems like Safari received an OTA update that adds the icon on the left when you search for something. Previously we didn’t have this icon.

I’m not sure which ios 26 would recieve this OTA but i’m on ios 26.6

Porting out primary line on Prepaid, what happen to the rest of the line?

Hi everybody! I’m planning to move from T-Mobile prepaid to Metro. However, Metro doesn’t allow mutiple port at the same time so i’m going to port each single line over. We have 4 lines including mine as the primary line. I was wondering if I port my line out first would other line be canceled? I know port out information and pin is the same for every-line.

Why is Verizon mostly the only one who fill the water bodies on FCC coverage report?

So I know for sure other have coverage too but I don’t understand why It show the coverage differently. It’s kinda hard to explain so I’ve attached the picture. You can see how FCC only have report coverage on the lake for Verizon - even if the signal is week.

I wish T-Mobile have more MVNO with priority data

As of right now, the only one are Google FI. T-Mobile Prepaid plan is a choice too but they absolutely suck in term of what you get compared to most other MVNO with the same price.

I still like T-Mobile in term of their infrastructure, not as a company.

Why do carrier’s performance greatly even between big cities?

We all know that carriers work better than others at different locations and that it’s always location-dependent. However, why is there still a variation even in big cities - it would make sense if it’s a small town as carriers have different priorities? For example, T-Mobile is great in most urban areas but surprisingly struggles in San Francisco, which makes no sense since they have deployed their resources very well in urban settings.

The same goes for how some carriers just struggle in Los Angeles too. Additionally, it’s not that the technology couldn’t handle it. Evidently, we can see very mmWave speeds in some cities too.

Hi everybody! So i decided to live on campus for my Freshman year and I have some question about it. Specifically, I'm confused when my Move Out date, in assignment summary, is on December 11 2026. However, in my housing application, It clearly said that the housing end on May 7 2027 which is what it's supposed to be.

Cannot Swipe Down to Choose Another Card After Double Click?

Does anybody know if I can get this behavior back? So I always double-tap the power button, and the phone would bring up the default card, but sometimes I want to choose another card. Before the recent updates, I could just swipe the card down, and all other cards would show up, but now swiping down would just pull up the default card’s transaction history. Instead, if I want to choose another card, I would need to press the stack on the bottom of the screen instead.

Georgia ID is Now Accepted on GA DDS Website

When you first create your online account, GA DDS will ask if you have Digital ID in wallet and will prompt you to present your ID digitally to verify your identity. Additionally, action like reseting your online account password allow you to present your ID this way. The big win here is that traditionally method was previously used such as taking a video of your face and photo of the ID, with this method, you can bypass all of those.

To the people who are concerned about the security of this, remember that only the Face ID of your face can be used to authenticate. If you add or remove any Face ID, digital ID will be removed and you will need to set it up again.

**Note**: you will need to make sure you update your ios to present ID via safari. My friend tried this on ios 18 and It didn’t work.
