Main sub wants to open 12 brief cases see no one and exfil silently. That's optimal gameplay apparently.
Rust is like ADHD DayZ maybe and Zomboid is like single player isometric DayZ. Yet no other game has taken the formula DayZ created so many years ago and still has great legs to run on.
Coming from a Marathon fan (love the game shoot me) but the original vision of Marathon sounded like the closest thing to DayZ I've heard of from another game and it got scrapped.
Curious if anyone has any theories why no one else would make a similar more polished version in a different setting?
Hack is the only debuff that doesn't have utility tied to it. As well as there's no flashbangs in this game. Imagine tossing in a hackbang nade into a tight room with a 3 man in it in Cryo and then pushing in with mizzys.
Or if you're unsure if someone's on a room toss one in to get a hitmarker for intel.
Would also be good for PvE. Toss one in a dense UESC area to clean them out easier.
It should be like a worse EMP nade. Do even less damage maybe like 5 or 10hp but used to visually impair people and gain a little intel.
I think Hack is a cool debuff that doesn't really get utilized outside of trip wires and you can't really make someone hit a trip wire.
I like hackbang.
I know this is a controversial topic lol but I've got an idea for an arena mode that actually makes sense for his game.
Imagine this:
3v3v3, three teams spawn on the outside of a POI.
Think maintenance for example. One team left of maintenance, one team right of maintenance, one team in front of maintenance. You can't leave that general area.
Each team when they spawn in has an extraction point behind them and there are still bots in the POI.
It's a sponsored game mode with sponsored green kits before each round, you can choose which kit from which faction you want. There is loot and guns in weapons lockers and such.
In the middle of maintenance is a strongbox filled with good loot and 1 Datapad. A team wins the round by either wiping both teams or extracting the Datapad. Best to 3, no respawns per round but you can be revived.
After the Datapad is extracted there is a "final extraction" if you successfully extract your loot carries over to the next round. If not you're stuck on a sponsored kit.
Basically extraction shooter the mini casual game.
Do you wipe the lobby, do you thief in - grab the datapad and get out, does triage hit a clutch revive, does assassin or vandal hit a Crazy flank.
All the shells stay as relevant as they do in the main mode.
In my opinion it would be a phenomenal way to warm up but also for new players to grasp the mechanics and systems that make the game great.
Shoutout to the Assassin for walking right in front of me, shout the boys for trying to get rezs off, shoutout the Recon for delivery me the WSTR

I'm taking DeMar if we can.
I think the Heat believe 3pt shooting is a skill you can find off the street. Where as playmaking/shot creation is something to pursue.
Makes more sense to throw money at DeMar and sign someone like Keels to shoot threes. You can't find DeMar skills in the G League.
I normally don't watch streamers but I love watching comp tourneys, especially of games I'm playing. If that's your thing a tourney is starting right now to watch.
Make of it what you will.
Seven years. It’s hard to put into words what this city has meant to me. When Miami drafted a 19-year-old kid out of Kentucky, they believed in me before I’d proven anything. Together, we experienced just about everything this game has to offer. Two trips to the Finals. Deep playoff runs. Becoming an All-Star. The highest highs, the toughest moments, and every lesson in between.
Through every challenge, every expectation, every rumor, and every setback, I always believed in one thing: put your head down, go to work, and represent the name on the front of the jersey the right way. Every time I stepped on the floor, my goal was to help bring another championship to Miami. This city gave me more than a basketball career. It gave me a place to grow up. I became a man here.
I became a father here. I built lifelong relationships here. Miami became home. To Spo, Pat, Micky, the entire organization, my teammates, the coaches, trainers, equipment staff, arena staff, and everyone who poured into me over the last seven years—thank you.
Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, challenging me, and helping shape the player and person I’ve become. And to the fans… Thank you for riding with me. Through every big shot, every playoff run, every injury, every rumor, and every season—you showed me love I’ll never forget. Whether you cheered for me in the arena, wore my jersey, or simply believed in me, I felt it. I’ll always be grateful for that support. As excited as I am for this next chapter back home in
Milwaukee, a part of me will always belong to Miami. Miami didn’t just shape my career. It shaped my life. Thank you for everything. — Tyler
Here’s an excerpt from Ben’s interview with Clay Skipper for Men’s Health Magazine:
“I plan on getting as strong as I can physically, getting my ass on the court, and then the team realizing that my abilities will be needed,” he says. “I don’t have a plan on where.” He feels like he still has a lot to offer teams (“You can’t teach 6'10" and IQ,” he says), and he’s been talking to coaches who have told him to get healthy, because if he’s healthy, he has a spot. “Maybe I’ll go back to Philly,” he says. “Miami would be nice. And not because it’s Miami—I like Erik Spoelstra, I like the Heat, I like their organization, I like the culture.”

>Wiggins will serve as a key starter alongside Heat stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo -- and Miami received his commitment on a $64M deal through 2028-29 (player option in 2028). He opts in for $30M in 2026-27 as part of the deal.
:)
I'm thinking Boston stays competitive adds a big and maintains a star wing.
Houston commits to rebuilding, would get picks from Portland for sure, takes on Grant & White who they can flip at the deadline for more assets.
Portland gets a true 1A.
Personally my dream scenario. Wiggins opts out and takes less money for more years, leaving room to resign Powell.
Secondly would be Anfernee Simons.
Part of me hopes we keep Niko and he figures it out. Good Niko and Portis off the bench is a good big man rotation.
I think we need another minimum shot creator/shooter off the bench tho. I always loved Middleton's game and he would fill a need.
Davion/Powell or Simons/Wiggins/Giannis/Bam
Dru/Middleton/Pelle/Niko/Portis
Hopefully Keels, Keshad, & Gardner can contribute when called upon too.
A dead game stops getting updates.
Happy June 9th everyone!!
