Over 10 years ago (maybe 15 years) during a deep meditation in the forrest while on a hit of DMT, I had an out of body experience in regards to the light. Don't know what sharing my experience may do for others or if it's my ego kicking in but I thought I'd share, especially if others can relate and reflect from it. Also, this seems like the right subreddit to share it.

*Side note: I meditated a lot back then before experimenting with psychedelics plus meditation. You really must be in a grounded state of mind when experimenting with them, especially DMT. They should be used as a direct medium for connecting with our higher self, not for fun and abuse. Psychedelics should be seen as a temporary bridge to deep reflections of the higher self, higher states of consciousness and the source.*

Anyways, I sat down in a full seated lotus position and began my meditation after I took the hit of dmt with weed in a pipe. It was a bright and beautiful day during spring and about just 10 mintues in, a veil of darkness engulfed my presence as a light above me starts to radiate. My soul began to leave my my body during my meditation, going higher and closer to the light. However, the next thing I know I pass the light and even the out skirts of darkness then entered into a realm that is difficult describe for this 3rd dimensional understanding. To the best of my interpretation, I was traveling light speed or even faster through many dimensions. Eventually my soul made a quick stop and all I can see around me was sacred geometry constantly fluctuating and drenched in amazing colors that's beyond our spectrum here. Suddenly, about 9 beings appeared in front of me in an upside down V formation. It was very difficult to see what their appearance looked like since it was blending in with the geometry and colors. But they definitely had humanoid outlines. In a fuzzy description, the heads of the 3 beings in the middle was that the one on the left had a bird like head, the one on the right had a feline like head, and the middle definitely had an ant head. I can't say for the other 6 since I was so receptive in the present moment. I had no desire at all to see what was going on at the moment so my eye was just still, as if I was still meditating. I was intuitively just synchronizing with the beings in front of me or vibing with them humbly. They began collectively communicating with me, not with thoughts or spoken words, but with intuition. It was as if they were saying, "welcome home". I felt it deep in my gut and a nirvana-like sensation followed. Afterwards, my soul began to descend rapidly back to the physical world, back into my body. When I arrived back to my physical body that was still in a seated lotus position, I slowly opened my eyes and I saw the beautiful scenery in front of me with blurred outlines of the flower of life, specifically the lotus flower of life all around me. It slowly dissappeared and my vision was back to normal. The experience was around 5 to 10 mintues long. Then out of nowhere, a bunch of squirrels, chipmucks, lizards and birds surrounded me; and I began crying uncontrollably in joy. This experience was the one that made me know although things will be difficult for the times to come, it will all be alright. Just be present and receptive to each moment, especially the small moments. Truly, as all the great sages said in the past have said similarly, all the answers are within ourselves. Look within and live free.
