My prized possession
Bought this a year or so ago and I love it so much. It was pretty pricey but worth every penny to me! I had one when I was younger that I carried EVERYWHERE. 💙

Hey y’all, I was just wondering, does anyone know what they do with the props for things like Good Mythical Summer after the seasons change? I was watching today’s episode and the thought came to me when I saw the giant “Mythical National Park” by Rhett’s side. I’d love to have that on my wall, lmao
BYMB!
Been treading water since I graduated high school. Parents died shortly after, left me floundering trying to figure stuff out for myself. Never went to college, too fucking expensive now and I can’t justify putting myself hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt for a piece of paper for a SLIGHT chance at a “better job” aka 40K more a year. (still not enough.) I’ve worked full time, full time with a part time, and tried looking for a third but even part time jobs want full flexibility (for what fucking reason) so no one calls back. My rent takes all my paycheck. Soon I won’t be able to afford that either. It always goes up, but my check stays the same year after year.
I can’t do this anymore, and quite frankly, I don’t want too. Death seems more peaceful than this fucking constant chase of money and just barely making things work. Got my shit held together by twine and a piece of gum that’s finally stretching a bit too thin.
I don’t mind working. I know nothing in life is free. I don’t mind working to get most things I want. But busting my ass 60+ hours a week, just for everything to stay exactly the same because it’s JUST enough to stay afloat is killing me mentally and physically. I can’t save for anything. I have no emergency funds. The idea of ever owning property is forever gone. I haven’t taken a vacation since I was like 8 years old, and even now I don’t want anything luxurious, just four days to fucking stop, and catch my breath.
But I can’t afford to. I can’t afford anything. I’m being priced out of living, and when I eventually fall victim to it the world will keep turning like nothing happened.
It shouldn’t be like this. It shouldn’t be like this.
Been watching the boys since early 2014, and between that and rewatching them constantly (every day really, even just for background noise), I feel I’m almost running out of things to watch lol.
So, what’s everyone’s favorite game the boys have played? What’s the one video/playlist you continually go back to? And why? I like rewatching clips or videos and learning why someone likes it so much.
My favorite play through was probably Mario Maker. I go back to it all the time. COCKINMYASS makes me cry laughing til this day.
Can be TMPH too!
I did it! I’m free! 2 years and change and I’m FREE!
No more credit cards! No more surveys! No more IRPs! No more scan percentages! I’m FREEEEE
On a serious note, I’m grateful for the regular coworkers I’ve worked with. Met some seriously great people. I’ll miss them, and them only.
Everyone else, jump ship while you can. I wish everyone the best of luck. GOODBYE LOWES 😁
Does anyone know what bug this is? Not the first time I’ve seen them while sweeping, they hang around my cat’s food area (which I’m now relocating) and I’ve seen them slip under the molding of the wall. I live on the second floor of an apartment building so I’m just confused on how they got here in the first place? They’re not near any windows. Apartment is pretty clean.
They are VERY small. Cat kibble and litter bits for reference in photo. (lol)
Thanks for any help
Just made me think of the iconic moment lmao
Warning, a little sappy. Just feeling a lot and wanted to share.
Rewatching Mark’s Hearts and Heros playthrough from EIGHT (how?) years ago and man, this video. It’s one of my favorite videos of his, maybe even THE favorite video. I revisit it constantly, sometimes leave it playing in the background while cooking or going to bed.
I’ve been watching this man for thirteen years. For thirteen years he’s made me laugh when I didn’t think it was possible, made me crack a smile when I thought I’d forgotten how. Told me he believed in me when I felt no one else did, even myself. Got me through the loss of my parents and other hardships that I thought would surely be the end of me, literally. He’s such a large reason of why I’m still here.
I was 15 years old when I discovered his Amnesia videos. I’m 28 now, we’ve both grown so much, had our own achievements, big and small. I’m so proud of him and all he’s done, and I know he’d say the same to me if we could talk.
This video brings a comfort I can’t explain. It feels like hanging out with an old friend. It feels warm. It feels like home.
Thanks, Mark. My heart always glows on my sleeve because of you.
To get to the point, I’m 28 years old and don’t have a license. My parents passed when I was reaching driving age, and I don’t have any other family to teach me. My roommate is too afraid I’ll crash her car to allow me to try, and driving lessons here are INSANELY expensive. Like, $500+ for three lessons. I’ve driven before, I know how too, I’ve bitten the bullet and taken driving lessons before when I was better off financially, and I’ve taken the road test before and failed.
Anyway, not the point of the post. My main question is about the bus schedules on Long Island. I need someone to break them down to me like I’m a first grader because for some reason no matter how much I stare at the damn things, it’s not clicking.
I’m really sick of my current job and would like to branch out to a different one, but as you could imagine, having no car on Long Island is rough. Lyft helps but you can imagine how expensive it gets.
Any help is appreciated. Sorry for sounding stupid. Just having a hard time understanding.
Based near Bay Shore and looking to go to Smithtown, East Meadow or Deer Park. (just for example based off jobs I found.)
Hey everyone, I got a wisdom tooth out yesterday. Just one, lower left side. I know I can’t eat anything solid for a bit, but I was curious what I can eat. Mashed potatoes and smoothies are good for an hour or two and then I’m starving again.
Any advice helps. Thanks!
I’ve had bad jobs before but holy fuck, dude.
I’ve been with the company 2 years. 1st year was great. Little rocky at times but nothing bad. My second year, holy shit.
The front end is an absolute nightmare. We’ve had multiple people quit, hired 5 new, and four of THOSE people quit within a week. Fulfillment is a fucking trainwreck because again, most quit because they realized the job is not worth it. So they have the ONE person at the customer service/return desk running back and forth to do online pickup and the main desk for returns, and answer the phone when all 4 lines ring. 7 people in line for returns, 8 at the pickup desk, ONE sorry employee to handle all of them. ASMs don’t come when called. They DO NOT want the head cashier behind the front desk at all, they want them doing other useless things like filling snacks and drinks, so they can’t even help. There’s only ONE cashier scheduled for gardening during PEAK SEASON. Code 3 every 10 minutes with no one to show for backup because THERE IS NO ONE. No loader for mulch 5 days out of 7, that leads me to being screamed at because the clientele for Lowe’s is 60+ who can’t lift more than 2lbs because “I had back surgery”. The generation who tells mine to “pick yourself up by the bootstraps” throws a fucking fit when they have to get 5 bags of mulch by themselves on a cart.
I’ve just had it. I know it’s a minimum wage job. I know I’m bottom of the food chain. I know I don’t matter to anyone there. I didn’t expect too. But holy fuck, SOME support is needed to run a business, and there is none. ASMs are useless in my store. Head Cashier’s do more honestly. Been trying to find a new job since November and nothing, and I don’t know how much longer I can do this.
Wish I never applied for this fuckass company. If I ever get out, never again.
I (28F) feel like I am running out of time and honestly, running out of will to live. My life started out great, had good parents, decent childhood, nice family. In 2011 everything started going wrong. Long story short, I lost my grandparents (on my mom’s side, my dad’s side passed before I was born), my Aunt who I was close with (mom’s Sister), my mother when I was 17 (2015) and my father when I was freshly 22 (2020). I had to sell my childhood home alone and was forced to split the earnings of it with my two half sisters I don’t speak too because my father didn’t leave a will. So after paying lawyers, brokers, yada yada yada all that jazz, I was left with about 55K. I made that stretch for as long as I could, but it didn’t last long with rent, food and bills (I live in an expensive part of New York, born and raised). I have a full time job, but it’s retail, so it pays pennies. A part time job too, but again, retail, so shit pay. I never went to college because my mom passed literally two weeks after I graduated high school and I fell into such a deep depression I didn’t get my first job til 2018. My mom was teaching me how to drive when she passed, and my dad was such a wreck when she died that he never got around to teaching me either. I don’t really have anyone to teach me now, my current roommate doesn’t want me to drive her car because she’s afraid I’ll crash it, and the two friends I have live an hour or more away from me. I looked into driving lessons, and anything with three lessons or more (I feel I need at least three to feel comfortable behind the wheel) is $400+ that I just don’t have to spare. My rent is 3K a month plus my regular bills on top, and I use Lyft to get around to work every day so that’s a lot of my check towards that.
I don’t really do much besides go to work, come home, go to work, come home. No friends, barely any family (two cousins I love, but rarely see due to their full time jobs and personal lives), and a roommate who hates leaving the house unless it involves a bar (I don’t drink.) No ability to drive and the buses near me take 2 hours to go the same distances as 12 minutes with an Uber or Lyft. I don’t have money, friends, or family. People tell me I’m young and I have so much to live for, but besides my cat, what really is there? I can’t afford to see anywhere other than my home town. I can’t afford schooling. I can’t afford a car even if I DID have my license. I can’t get a better job.
I’ve been treading water for 6 years and I’m getting tired. I know a lot of people have it worse than me, and I’m grateful for the things I have, but I know it could be so much better if I just had support. But my biggest supporters died, and left me behind. (Not their fault of course, but I can’t help but feel abandoned sometimes.) I don’t really know what I expect to get out of posting this here, I guess just to vent. But if you have any advice or ideas on what to do, please let me know. Thanks in advance, sorry if this sounds whiney. Just… stuck.
