Estimating Martlet's Weight

Howdy! I'm uh... well, not really well known for it, but a lot of people saw me estimate Martlet's weight in a comment a while ago. But, that old estimate had a lot of problems, so... here's a new and improved estimate, along with my reasonings for it. Also, NO AI WAS USED IN THIS POST WHATSOEVER, not for calculations, not for the title, not for the pictures, nothing. Also, this calculation was done for Martlet's old overworld sprites, not her updated ones. I believe they are the same height, but I'm unsure.

So, first off, the problems with my previous calculations. I essentially imagined Clover as 12 years old, and the average height of a 12 year old is 5 feet. I then assumed Martlet to be around 7 feet tall, and then scaled a bluejay to around that height. The problem with that, is that a bluejay at that height would be WAY bigger than Martlet.

Also, I pretty much just assumed Clover was five feet tall. So, first, we figure out Clover's height. So, we do know that Martlet implies Clover will be fully grown when the monsters leave the underground. So, since we know enough time has passed between Undertale Yellow and Undertale for most monsters to forget what a human looks like, we can assume it has been several years. For the sake of this, we'll assume Undertale Yellow takes place eight years before the events of Undertale. It's long enough for most monsters to forget what humans look like, and, its about as long as it took Undertale Yellow to release after Undertale.

So, assuming Clover reaches fully grown around the time Undertale takes place, we can get an estimate on Clover's potential height during Undertale Yellow, and also age.

If Clover is a biological female (since Clover's actual gender isn't confirmed, I'll just be using their biological sex to estimate heights)- They should stop growing at around 15. So, that means Clover is around 7 years old as of the events of Undertale Yellow.

If Clover is a biological male- They should stop growing at around 18, so Clover is around 10 years old.

In either scenario, taking the average weight and height of Clover leads to Clover being somewhere between seven and ten years old, between four feet and 4 foot 8.

So, we know Clover is 30 pixels tall in Undertale Yellow, so one pixel is anywhere between 1.6 inches (four centimeters) and 2 inches (five centimeters). Martlet is 53 pixels tall (in her overworld sprite), so martlet is anywhere between 7 feet (85 inches, or 216 cm) and just under 9 feet tall (106 inches, 270 cm).

So, let's go back to the bluejay estimate (even though Martlet is NOT a bluejay, this is just used for feather covering, bone structure, etc), assuming Martlet is eight feet tall. Assuming you took a bluejay and made it eight feet long, it's pretty similar in size to Martlet. The average bluejay is around a foot long, so scaling it up to seven feet, Martlet would weigh 343 times that. If eight feet, 512 times that. If 9, 729 times that.

So, in total, Martlet is between seven and nine feet tall, and anywhere between 1200 ounces and 2552 ounces, or, between 75 and 160 pounds (34-73 kg).

TL;DR: Martlet is between 7 to 9 feet tall, and between 75 and 160 pounds (34-73 kg). If she's eight feet tall, she weighs around 112 pounds (51 kg).

Hatzegopteryx (Art by me)

I threw together the background in a few seconds, and its supposed to be temporary. First time using Krita and drawing digitally, or drawing a hatzeg at all, how accurate is it and how did I do?

Enclosure Update/DLC

  1. A small variant of aviaries and lagoons (around 10 feet tall (aviary) and 20 feet deep (lagoon) and equally as wide) and a large variant. (1.5x diamater, about 1.5 times as tall/deep).
  2. Paths able to go through aviaries (a barrier forms around them).
  3. Natural lagoons.
  4. Paths give a small radius of animal visibility.
  5. Terrariums: A new kind of enclosure. They're glass, with customizable roofs, about as high as small electric fences (snap-together pieces like aviaries/lagoons). Small aviary species and land species can be released inside, along with some terrarium only species. (Have an aquatic versino for certain lagoon species).

SPECIES: -Anchironis (Aviary/Enclosure) -Arthropleura (Enclosure only) -Titanoboa (Enclosure only) -Hoplites (Lagoon/Aquatic Enclosure) -Nemicolopterus (Aviary/Enclosure) -Trilobites (Lagoon/Aquatic Enclosure) -Trematosaurus (Lagoon/Aquatic Enclosure) -Diplocaulus (Eligible for land enclosures) -Mastodonsaurus (Eligible for enclosures)

Hate

A drone has been seen lately. Its slightly damaged, as if it had been taken somewhere and used for something. It acts... unnaturally, to say the least. And above all?

It HATES humans. Strange.

I hate fetishes where one (or more) of the people involved dies

Its lowk gross af. First of all, in most cases where fetish art is poorly written/drawn, its just weird. In cases where it is well written and drawn, it is blatantly disturbing to watch the person die. I don't care about the person dying, but finding that someone jerks off to that is just weird for me, especially when its a painful and/or gory death. The usual fetishes this happens in are gore (obviously), vore, giantess (which is okay when a person doesnt die, then it gets weird for me), etc.

I HATE, DESPIZE, and LOATHE Speciesism with all my heart (Gore in pictures)

For those of you who don't know, speciesism is the belief that people think they are better than other animals just because of species. I personally HATE this. Why? Well, it's simple.

Firstly, speciesism (at least, in my opinion) is objectively the WORST kind of discrimination. Why? Well, just look at what is done to animals.

Cows- Forced to be impregnated for milk. Then, their babies are slaughtered, sometimes before they can even get a taste of their own mothers milk. Cows are effectively raped on a mass scale.

Animals in labs- Animals like rabbits, rats, dogs, monkeys, cats, fish, and parrots are animals that are often subjected to such things. And what happens to them in said tests? Skin is torn off, chemicals are poured down their throats and into their eyes. Hell, there's an entire COMMON SCIENCE EXPERIMENT about ripping open mice and stitching two together. We know what this does already, and yet, its down very frequently, over and over. Animals are ripped apart, skulls drilled open, organs torn apart, poisoned, all for what? Statistically, 98 percent of medicines, drugs, and makeup that pass animal trials fail human trials. Its useless torture.

Chickens, Pigs, and Other Livestock in Big Farms- These also have it pretty bad. In big farms, chickens are thrown into tiny cages, crammed with hundreds of others. They are forced to lay eggs, up to 300 a year (Their wild ancestors laid 10-15. They should NOT be laying this many eggs.) And, they suffer because of it. Bones lose calcium. They run out of energy. They starve. They die, crammed alone in a cage, never having a taste of freedom. Other livestock are forced into tiny cages as well, barely enough space to turn around, walking in their own feces, fed the bare minimum nutrition needed to have good meat. And all of this hell? Its just them awaiting their eventual death.

And all of these issues, which sound like something from a bad horror movie? They're caused by speciesism. The fact that the people in charge think its totally fine to do whatever they want to these creatures, because they're not human. In fact, that brings me to the last point. An arguement speciesists use.

"Humans have accomplished so much more, and are so much smarter than animals, we have the right to do whatever we want to them."

That is complete and utter BULLSHIT. Their logic suggests if one person gets a 100 on a test, and someone else gets a 72, the person who got a 100 has the right to rape and torture the person who got a 72. In fact, many of these animals also are capable of feeling empathy and emotion. Most are in fact. Monkeys have complex languages, feel grief, sadness, and empathy. Rats and mice do as well. Pigs are one of the smartest animals on the planet, with fully functioning empathy. None of these animals are "barely sentient", as people describe them.

And how do we treat them? Torture. Forcing them into tiny pens, tearing them to pieces, slaughtering them... and for what? A lot of it is useless. And all of it, is because of speciesism.

Now, I'm not saying go be vegan. Hell, I'm not vegan. No, humans are omnivores, we should eat meat. But, just know where the meat you eat comes from. And try to get it from at least somewhere which isn't commiting what would be some of the worst crimes known to man if they were done on a human. (Like, try to hunt for meat, or at least get them from small farms which don't do as horribly unethical things).
