Is there anything in the game that really bothers or scares you?
The ocean in the game unsettles me. At one point, I stepped away from my desk for a few minutes to grab a snack and left my headset resting on the keyboard. The game was in free-cam mode, and placing the headset down caused the 'W' key to get stuck pressed down. The camera ended up deep in the ocean. You couldn't even see the map anymore. Ever since that day, the ocean has felt unsettling to me.
I miss Forza Horizon 4 more than I ever expected.
Lately, I've realized that I don't just miss Forza Horizon 4—I miss the time in my life that came with it.
Back in 2018, my dad built a brand-new desktop PC for me. At the time, it felt like the biggest upgrade imaginable. I still remember seeing the GTX 1060 sitting inside the case and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. I couldn't wait to see what games it could run.
While browsing the Microsoft Store, I noticed something called Forza Horizon 4 Demo. I had never played a Horizon game before, so I downloaded it without expecting much.
The moment I started driving, I was hooked.
Everything felt incredible. The graphics looked almost unreal to me, the sounds were amazing, and the world felt alive in a way I had never experienced before. I remember driving around just because I wanted to, not because I had an objective. I didn't care about progression or collecting every car—I was simply enjoying being in that world.
When I finally got the full game, it became one of the games that defined my childhood. I spent countless hours cruising through Britain, trying different cars, listening to Horizon Pulse and Bass Arena, taking photos, exploring roads I'd already driven dozens of times, and just relaxing.
The changing seasons never got old. Autumn was beautiful, winter completely transformed the map, rainy spring mornings had their own atmosphere, and summer sunsets made every drive feel memorable. Even today, I don't think any other Horizon game has captured that feeling for me.
I know FH5 and FH6 is technically the better game in many ways. It has more content, better graphics, more cars, and lots of quality-of-life improvements. I'm not here to argue that FH4 is objectively superior.
But FH4 had something that numbers and features can't measure.
Maybe it's nostalgia.
Maybe it's because it was my first Horizon game.
Or maybe it's because every time I think about it, I remember being that kid in 2018, sitting in front of a brand-new PC my dad had just built, launching the Microsoft Store demo for the first time, completely unaware that I was about to discover one of my favorite games of all time.
Every time I hear the FH4 soundtrack or see screenshots of Britain, I immediately get the urge to reinstall it and just drive. No races. No grinding. Just driving.
Some games are great.
A few become memories.
For me, Forza Horizon 4 became both.
Does anyone else feel like FH4 wasn't just a game, but a specific moment in life you'll probably never experience again?
Gunshots from the direction of the quarry.
While passing along the road next to the quarry at night, I first heard a few pistol shots, followed by the sound of automatic gunfire lasting ten seconds without interruption. I ask the authorities to please look into this matter.

I don't think BeamNG will ever reach version 1.0
I know BeamNG has made huge progress over the years, but at this point I genuinely don't think we'll ever see a 1.0 release.
Every update adds new features, reworks old systems, and expands the scope even further. The game feels more like an evolving platform than a project that's moving toward a "finished" state.
Not complaining—I love the game and have 140+ hours in it. I'm just curious: do you think BeamNG will eventually hit 1.0, or will it stay in early access indefinitely?
Why do I only find peace late at night?
Tonight feels strangely peaceful.
It's almost 1 AM, the house is quiet, I'm listening to music and scrolling through Reddit. A few hours ago I was extremely angry because of family issues, but now I feel calm and almost comfortable.
The thing is, I don't know if this feeling is sustainable. Sometimes I have nights like this where everything feels okay and my mind is finally at peace, but then the next day life goes back to stress, arguments and overthinking.
Does anyone else experience these random peaceful nights? And is it possible to make this kind of calmness a more permanent part of life instead of just an occasional mood?
Does ETS2's Lane Assist need a rework?
Compared to modern driver assistance systems in real trucks and cars, ETS2's Lane Assist feels quite limited to me. Would you like to see a more advanced version in future updates?
