For some reason I decided to switch to not using star cards for my saber heroes. Specifically them because I just wanna get better at dueling and I find it very satisfying to beat someone without them.

Vader is still really busted so not much change, I think I actually play better without star cards on Vader.

Luke is mostly the same too but his abilities are weaker without cards.

Anakin is still strong but I definitely noticed the difference without massive strikes and tenacious on. His speed is still a good asset though.

I find Rey a bit trickier without deep mind or her extra damage but she's still really good.

Yoda is annoyingly bad in this game despite being the grandmaster so without cards he's really difficult. No extra damage, healing, or dash.

Obi Wan feels a lot slower without quickened focus but he's still my GOAT.

Maul is so fun in HvV but harder in 1v1. His abilities aren't affected too much though its mainly losing his 3rd dash.

Dooku is still goated in 1v1s and I miss having masterful duelist and 20% more time on expose weakness.

Kylo Ren is still quite good, just lacking a powerful move that does high damage. Especially without his extra pull damage.

General Grievous might be the hardest (other than Yoda) for me at the moment. Flesh is weak and sith trained made him an absolute demon before so I now I have to be more careful when playing him.

It's like I have two bombshells to drop. Like oh yea I'm a 24 year old virgin and also born a man. Even if they're OK with one what about the other?

I only just realised that Palpatine has two handed lightning and it does more damage. I had been using one handed for 6 months lmao.
