Super happy with Macy’s Radley

Got the Radley sofa in Heavenly mocha grey and I love it. I ordered it on 6/27 and it arrived on 7/3. The delivery was perfect. It’s firm and supportive, but super comfy. It’s a bit of a lighter shade than I expected, but it’s a beautiful medium grey with subtle brown undertones. Matches with everything. I haven’t lounged or slept on it yet, but I’m sure it will be great.

I read so many delivery horror stories, so I was worried. It couldn’t have turned out better. Macy’s must have listened to their critics.

I’m really glad I didn’t get the Quince Sierra. The swatches came in today and I didn’t like the fabric.

The Radley is currently on sale for $789 through 7/14.

Trigger point injections?

I already do Botox all over my head and forehead for migraines, but my pain doctor wants me to do trigger point injections in my occipital muscles for the occipital neuralgia. I already tried trigger point injections in my back and shoulders and it did nothing. I'm thinking of canceling the appointments.

Has anyone done this treatment with success?

I did my second craniosacral therapy session yesterday and I do feel a difference. I think it's going to take at least six sessions to notice a meaningful and lasting change.

Need help calculating monthly payments on a personal loan

I took out a $15,000 Best Egg personal loan for my partner to pay his IRS debt and for me to have a financial cushion. The total loan amount is $15,544 because I refinanced an existing loan with $544 remaining. I gave him $10,000 and kept the rest. The origination fee was $1,087.22, and the total interest at the end of 36 months will be $5,673.18. The APR is 17.69%.

The amount that remains with me is $3,912.78. My auto-payments will be $559 a month, and the total amount paid at the end of the 36-month term will be $20,139.96.

My partner will make monthly payments to me. How much should his payments be since I kept some of the funds? I keep coming up with different percentages, and it's driving me crazy.

Thank you!

Quince Sierra couch

Looking at the Sierra couch at Quince. It has 151 reviews and less than 1% of them are negative. I like the single bench cushion and the general aesthetic of it. It seems like a fantastic deal. My only concern is pet hair showing up on the velvet upholstery.

Does anyone have this couch and care to share their experience? It hasn't been around that long, so it's difficult to get a well-rounded assessment.

I'm one click away from a Quince Sierra...

Am I making a huge mistake? I really love that it has one bench cushion and the velvet is very stylish. However, the Radley is much less expensive and has more reviews, which are mostly very positive.

Sight unseen is also very tough. I tried out the Radley on Saturday and liked it. I just don't like when bottom cushions are loose and move around a lot.

Help!

Macy’s Radley or Lovesac Snugg?

I’ve looked at couches such as Room and Board and Crate and Barrel. The couches are way too expensive for me, but they are very highly rated and look great.

I am mainly debating between the Radley and the Snugg. I don’t necessarily need a lifetime guarantee like Lovesac offers, but I’m concerned about some reports of the Radley cushions sagging very early on. There is no warranty or satisfaction guarantee with the Radley. I chatted with ChatGPT about it and it said the Radley is probably the better choice for me with my budget and other needs.

My partner sleeps on the couch a lot when he goes to bed really late and doesn’t want to wake me up and also when he feels restless in bed. The couch has to withstand frequent sleeping.

We currently have the Fairfax velvet couch from Living Spaces (a western regional US company). It’s almost five years old and has significant sagging in the middle from sleeping and also because the middle is my spot and I am very overweight. I used to be 270 and now I’m 204. I want to make sure my next couch can handle excess weight and sleeping (my partner is 240).

I would love to hear from Radley and Snugg owners or previous owners. It’s a big investment!

Thank you.

Reduction in BMI before surgery

My current BMI is 36.4. I would like to get down to a BMI of 26-27 before the surgery. Ideal would be 25. Did your insurance require you to lose weight for surgery approval?

Even if my insurance doesn’t require it, my plan is to get to at least 28. Im on Mounjaro and I’m losing weight despite a two-month plateau in April and May. I also do intermittent fasting and have cut back on sweets.

I’m currently a 38L and would like to be a small C. I know it’s a radical reduction but I don’t see the point in doing the surgery if my bra straps still dig in and I have neck and shoulder pain. This started for me at a D-DD cup.

I had my consultation on 6/16 and a follow up to assess weight loss in 3 months.

Thank you!

Had my consultation with the surgeon today

I had my consultation today. I am a 38J, and I want to reduce to a small C cup. Since this is a radical reduction, I'm concerned about nipple complications. I read that there is a 5% chance of nipple loss. This scares me a lot. Have any of you experienced nipple loss?

I also want to lose weight first. I don't want my stomach to be larger than my breasts. I also don't want my breasts to shrink if I lose weight after the surgery. I am 5' 5" and 210 pounds. I want to get down to 170 at the most.

Thank you.

Still feel affected the day after treatment

I had a Ketamine session yesterday and I’m still feeling nauseous and unwell. I usually feel very nauseous and unwell the evening after my session, but not the day after. They give me a 110 mg IM injection. I lost 60 pounds and they haven’t adjusted my dose so that’s probably the issue.

Anyone still feeling the side effects of Ketamine the day after treatment?

Copper-infused compression clothing

Has anyone had success with copper-infused compression clothing? I have osteoarthritis in my thumb so I’ve been using a fingerless glove with copper. It is helping but I would like to hear from others who have tried it. I wonder if it’s a placebo effect.

Thanks!

I haven’t dreamt about her

My cat Charlotte passed away on 5/7/26. I’ve had two sessions with an animal communicator and they were very impactful and comforting.

I haven’t had a dream about her yet. Is there a way to invite her into my dreams? I’m afraid she might not be ready. I’m sure she’s still adjusting to the realm she is in.

Thank you.

Still full of guilt almost a month out

My cat Charlotte died on May 7th at the age of 16. We had to euthanize her. I'm feeling a lot of guilt because she was diagnosed with an abdominal mass back in late 2021. We didn't do an ultrasound because we couldn't afford it, and all her labs were normal.

Fast forward to 2025 and we refused the ultrasound again since all her labs were normal and the cost was so high. She was in very good spirits and didn't have any issues other than occasional pooping and peeing outside the litter box. About a week before, she was falling off her cat tree and her meow sounded different, like a whisper. When we noticed she wasn't eating the day she died, we took her to the emergency vet right away. The ultrasound revealed a "huge" mass that was displacing her organs, and it must have been so painful. I don't know if it was operable back in 2021 or even 2025, but it was no longer operable on the day she died. The mass grew a A LOT in just one year.

I feel terrible for cheaping out on the diagnostics she really needed. My logic was that she was a senior cat, and we probably wouldn't do anything invasive at this point in her life if we had more information about the mass. I don't think she would have wanted that. She hated the vet so much. All the poking and prodding made her very angry.

I just can't let this go. I know it's still very recent, but I feel like I really let her down.

I wasn't planning on getting another cat for several months to a year, but now I'm wondering if I should even have a pet if I can't afford all the vet care. She had insurance, but the premium went from $60/month to $160/month in 2024. I have a CARE card, but the APR is 35% after the 6 month 0% promotional period. That balance can really grow fast.

My grief is compounded by guilt. I miss her so much, and it's torturous to think the outcome could have been different if I had done more.

Has anyone here had a similar experience of refusing care due to cost and then losing their animal as a result? It's so painful.

Have any of you been able to slightly speed up your benzo taper using Agmatine Sulfate?

I’ve been on Klonopin since September of 2020. I started at 4 mg per day, which as most of you know, is very high. I am now at 1.125 mg per day. This involves cutting 0.05 mg tablets into quarters. I started to taper in 2023, so it’s been extremely slow.

I would like off of it for good. Since many have cited Agmatine Sulfate as helpful with benzo withdrawal, I thought I could use it to speed up my taper a bit. Nothing crazy. I would like to be off of it by this time next year or earlier, if possible.

Thank you.

Said goodbye to Charlotte last night. 14 wonderful years together. She was 16 💔😿

It happened so fast. She stopped eating and I knew something was very wrong. She had an inoperable tumor in her belly. There were no options.

She gave me so much joy and saw me through some very hard times. I miss her so much.
