What are the best SUPPORTIVE braless tanks/bodysuits online? 36D

Dear BTC,

Help! I am going to Europe and Tomorrowland in July and need help finding bodysuits that ACTUALLY support my breasts so I can get away with not wearing (and packing) a bunch of bras.

So far the best tank/sport shirt I have purchased is the Vuori Sports Tank. Looking for something similar and/or a body suit version.

Any vets out there that can help me? I’m desperate. *cross post from r/askvet*

I am looking for honest opinions from veterinarians and experienced cat owners because I do not want my cat to suffer, and I am struggling with how aggressive to be with diagnostics versus focusing on his comfort and recovery.

My cat Kushie is an 11-year-old neutered male domestic longhair (16.5 lbs, indoor only). About 4 days ago he developed lethargy, decreased appetite, increased thirst, and a dry cough. He vomited once and became reluctant to jump or move around the house.

He was seen by our vet on 6/8. He required sedation for diagnostics and was diagnosed with right middle lung lobe pneumonia on chest radiographs. He received:

  • SQ fluids (150 mL)
  • Cerenia injection
  • Convenia injection
  • Clavamox (now giving at home twice daily)
  • Mirataz appetite stimulant

The radiologist reported pneumonia but did not identify any obvious chest masses, enlarged lymph nodes, or abdominal abnormalities on the imaging available.

His bloodwork, however, was very concerning:

  • Total Protein: 16.5 (5.2–8.8)
  • Albumin: 2.4 (2.5–3.9)
  • Globulin: 14.1 (2.3–5.3)
  • A/G Ratio: 0.2 (0.35–1.5)
  • BUN: 61 (14–36)
  • Creatinine: 3.2 (0.6–2.4)
  • SDMA: 32 (<15)
  • ALT: 164 (10–100)
  • Calcium: 7.5 (8.2–10.8)
  • Sodium: 136 (145–158)
  • Cholesterol: 41 (75–220)
  • Triglycerides: 18 (25–160)
  • Neutrophils: 11,704 (2,500–8,500)
  • Urine protein 4+, UPC 1.2

My veterinarian is calling this approximately IRIS Stage III/IV kidney disease and is very concerned about the globulin level. They discussed possible causes ranging from severe inflammation/infection to immune-mediated disease to cancer. They recommended an abdominal ultrasound, urine culture, and serum protein electrophoresis.

The problem is that the ultrasound would require additional sedation, and after everything he has been through and how weak he currently is, I am not comfortable putting him through another sedated procedure right now.

Since coming home:

  • He initially had mild open-mouth breathing, but that has completely resolved.
  • He is now breathing with his mouth closed.
  • Resting respiratory rate was approximately 36 breaths per minute.
  • His hind legs are weak and wobbly.
  • He is extremely lethargic and mostly stays in one location.
  • He is drinking water on his own.
  • He urinated on his own yesterday.
  • He ate two treat tubes on his own yesterday evening.
  • He will eat slurry and treats, but not normal meals.
  • He still responds to toys, tracks movement, flicks his tail, and responds to us.

This morning he remained very lethargic, stayed in the same spot all night, moved only a short distance when I came downstairs, and ate a small amount of slurry.

My biggest concern is quality of life. I do not want to put him through repeated procedures if he is unlikely to recover, but I also do not want to give up on him if the pneumonia and dehydration are contributing significantly to what we’re seeing.

My questions are:

  1. How concerning is a globulin of 14.1 in the setting of confirmed pneumonia?
  2. Is it reasonable to postpone the ultrasound until he is stronger?
  3. Do these clinical signs sound more consistent with a cat that still has a realistic chance of recovery, or does the overall picture suggest a poor prognosis?
  4. If this were your cat, would you focus on treating the pneumonia first before pursuing more diagnostics?

I am not looking for false hope. I am looking for honest opinions because I love this cat very much and I don’t want to make decisions based on fear or guilt. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤️🐈‍⬛🐾
