Luba 3 - Tall Grass Challenge - Can It Handle 1 Foot Weeds?!

Guys,

Story behind this video: I forgot to mow a zone that I typically would with my Lymow...but that's been broken for about 5 weeks now...another story for another day. Its a very mucky, marshy area behind my fence that I generally would tackle if I would remember to schedule a cut (lowest priority). You can see it in my other videos (Lymow One Plus Cuts 3 foot tall weeds).

I decided to test the Luba 3 to see how it handled 1 foot tall weeds...figuring the razor blades would be no match for the thicker stuff and overgrown area...I was totally wrong. I'm now highly optimistic now for using this automower to handle stuff well beyond what you would normally think about cutting. I realize i'm going to get push back saying this mower isn't meant to do what I put it through, but, what if you were on vacation for 2 weeks and needed to cut your lawn and didn't have any other way? This video does dispels that notion.

Settings:

Travel Speed: .7 Feet/second

Path Spacing: 7.9"

Perimeter Laps: 1

Cut Pattern: Grid, Random

Cut Height: 3.9"

Blade Speed: High

Thoughts? Any other tests you want to see? I'm going to swap out the factory blades for some titanium ones I found on amazon for my next test. stay tuned!

Lymow One Plus Overheating? Try The "Chimney" Mod - Does NOT Void Your Warranty

Guys,

I've been brainstorming with a friend of mine (Juha M3) on ways to fix the Lymow One Plus from overheating WITHOUT voiding your warranty. He came up with the concept of utilizing a "scoop" as a way to suck in cold air and cool the motor blades like a chimney, while the air can leave freely through the back as your mower drives along. There is no drilling involved, plus I found a way around some of the limitations of the original design to utilize a 12x16" piece of white acrylic, double-sided interlocking tape, and magnetic cell phone mounts to secure the "scoop".

My Lymow is currently broken and won't charge,, but Lymow sent me a new battery last week which still wouldn't charge, but did come with about 75% charge from the factory...so I figured why not put this to the test and see if it truly works. Side note, its REALLY DISAPPOINTING my mower has not been working for 5+ weeks at this point. Customer Service has got to improve. Pathetic getting a response one time every 24 hours if you are luckly, sometimes waiting days to hear back.

Results were far better than exepcted, about 200% better runtime with the same conditions as my prior video (see Lymow Fails To Cut Tall Grass)...That video it was about 88 degrees outside and humid, the mower ran for about 14 mins before it cut out, this time around it ran for ~28 mins then kicked down to eco blade speed for the remainder of the cut

I normally wouldn't cut at 3 ft/second and turbo blade speed, but I was trying my best to get the mower to stop working and replicate the prior conditions. On a typical day, this should keep your mower running at a slower cut speed and travel speed without any issues.

Again, big shoutout to JuhaM3 for helping pioneer this idea thousands of miles away and I really wish I could use my mower now, but sadly...I had to send it back for a replacement.

Let me know if you have any questions. As soon as I get my replacement mower i'll likley be churning out more videos with this Chimney Mod!

Did I Make a Mistake Abandoning My Zero Turn Mower For a Lymow One Plus?!

As many of you know, i've been pretty vocal about how awful the Lymow One Plus has been with all the issues many of us have faced. Mine has been inoperable for about the past 4 weeks now. It took them 3 weeks to send me a new battery and that didn't solve my problems, so they are finally going to send me a new mower.

Putting that aside, I wanted to cover the pros and cons for those of you who are looking to switch from a Zero Turn Mower to a Lymow One Plus, What to exepct, and can you truly replace your zero turn mower with a Lymow One Plus...My Luba 3 doesn't qualify since it can't mulch or cut grass that is left unmaintained.

This video has a ton of highlights from my other videos so you can see the Lymow One Plus in action, how it performs overall and did I make the right move.

Not sure if others are in the same boat, let me know if so.

Lymow One Plus | Beware | ALL That Went Wrong During 4-Months of Ownership

Here to put the word out to the general masses of all the things the influencers won't tell you about. My Lymow One Plus is currently dead and I spent the past 4 months documenting all the issues I've had with this piece of junk. Really disappointed overall as I have had to go out and buy a Luba 3 3000 to supplement the Lymow after it stopped working 2 weeks ago. I was planning on doing a 4 month of ownership video but, alas, here I am documenting all the crap that has gone wrong and why NOBODY should be buying one until they fix the majority of these. It really feels like we got another beta unit and we totally got scammed by Lymow yet again, only the Lymow One Actually cuts and doesn't overheat...this one may be even worse.

Have you experienced some or all of these? Is everyone on their 2nd/3rd/4th mower or waiting for one to arrive currently? Did anyone buy a second mower like I did? Please share your experiences if you can. Alot of these issues took a good bit of researching to figure out how to fix, and the overheating one is just commonplace now for those on Reddit/Facebook but the general public really doesn't have any idea due to the promoted influencer videos that lie about this thing.

Issues Covered That I Ran Into During The 4 Month I've Owned It:

 1. Ignoring a Channel When Docking

 2. Mower Functional But App Says 0% Battery (Won’t Work)

 3. Won’t Charge in Temps <39 Degrees

 4. Random Samples of Errors You Are Likely To Encounter

 5. Random Shut Off’s And Glitches (Manual Intervention)

 6. RTK is Extremely Difficult To Set Up and Dial In

 7. Lymow One Plus Destroys The Grass Anywhere Near Dock

 8. Dock is a DISASTER

 9. Lymow One Plus Overheats In Weather >80 Degrees

 10. More Overheating Issues, Still Not Solved

 11. Top Charging Contacts Do Not Work As They Should

 12. Ran Into A Parked Car!?!

 13. Faulty Battery/Dock...Mower Dead

Does the Soarfly Cordless Tiller Live Up to the Hype For Under $99? (not sponsored)

Filmed this video in April but i'm prett happy with the results from the Battery Powered Tiller from my raised garden bed. Took all of 10 mins and my soil was so light, airy and potent after I was finished. Planting was much easier too i'll note. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a similar solution, I would just wait till they go on sale.

Luba 3 First Setup | Unboxing & Lawn Mapping

Guys,

My First Luba 3 video as I just got this mower last week. Haven't seen a super detailed unboxing or setup video yet as all the influencers have short videos reading off a prompt/script. Hope this helps everyone make their decision as I am quite happy with this mower thus so far. My Lymow is curently broken, so hence why I ended up buying one of these!

More videos to come.

Supercharged - Edison NJ | Blue Track Battle | World's Largest Indoor Karting Track

Guys,

Went to Supercharged in Edison, NJ with some friends the other day. Place is pretty well run overall, the karts go 35 mph during regular hours, and 45 mph during "league races". You can save money by reserving in advance online or purchasing the black friday deals. good times all around, they have a restaurant, axe throwing, arcade, a few rides, hopefully enough to keep your kids busy while you race lol.

The Blue Track is pretty sick, really challenging to drive and and a ton of tight turns where you have to feather the gas or you'll be sideways in a heartbeat. The second race I finished 4th I believe with a 57 second lap time.

Enjoy the footage.

Lymow One Plus - Craziest Test Yet - 3 Foot Brush Clearing - You'll Be Surprised With The Outcome

I feel for all the other Lymow One Plus owners who either have a $3,000 paperweight on their hands, or it's too hot to work outside of normal mowing hours (which doesn't work for people who have neighbors).

That being said, I am still consistently having the same issues with mine (out of bounds, obstacle detected randomly, stuck somewhere, etc). Did fix the charging issues about 100% so I'll post a video on that soon enough.

Given the mower was actaully working as its was supposed to be...I put it to the test with a part of my yard that I haven't mowed ALL year...before I get all the pushback of "this isn't a brush hog" "that's not what it's designed for" ...customer service is abysmal and the warranty on these mowers is practically worthless so what does it matter if I try to push the limits to see what it can do.

Clearly I haven't gotten this for free and I wasn't paid off by Lymow like the other influencers who will flat out lie to you about how amazing the mower is. All faults aside, I was REALLY impressed with the outcome of this test. I had to run the mower 2x over the same part, but I feel if I did it a third time at 3" or so, it probably could have gotten just about everything.

You'll see how I point out the parts where it stopped in the middle, backed up over all the stuff it ran over and chewed it up, spit it out, kept on working like a freaking tank. Pretty cool to see how durable it truly is when it ACTUALLY works as it should. Lymow needs to add this as a feature for tall grass to be honest. The machine has so much physical potential, kind of wish Lymow would be acquired by the Mammotion so we could see the same software enhancements they enjoy on a daily basis.

Anyways, I'm not going to stop pushing this mower to it's absolute limits, let me know what other tests you'd like to see for next time. I've got a Luba 3 on the way as my backup mower...will be covering that at some point as well.

For everyone's knowledge, the test was done on the following settings:

-Turbo Blade Speed,

-1 ft/second Travel Speed

-4" Cut Height

-Mulching Cover & Guard Removed

-Touch Only Obstacle Avoidance

-9.8" Path Spacing

Worx Landroid AI Cloud AWD Night Cut Performance Test – Should You Pull The Trigger?

Did another video on my Worx Landroid AI Cloud AWD...followed it around at night to see if the cut accuracy and navigation is as precise at night as it is during the day, given this model lacks LIDAR and uses VSLAM instead.

Overall, I was impressed with the accuracy of the night cut along with the cut quality overall, but still annoyed I had to pay $70 for an LED light which should have come standard on this mower! GREEDY WORX!!

However, I wandered around my yard and came back to find the mower stuck in a death loop, annoyed and upset as it was tearing up my grass with its drunken navigation. One Step Forwad, two steps back is the common theme here.

Has anyone else monitored their AWD Worx Landroid AI Cloud at night vs daytime to see how the navigation handles obstacles, borders etc?

The drunken navigation/tearing up of my lawn is really the last straw i've had with this mower, unacceptable for the price point and no way to fix this via the app (which sucks as well).

WORX Landroid AI Cloud Vision AWD — Better Than The FWD? Full Review & App Rundown + Final Verdict

Sure by now you have seen my Worx Landroid Review videos of the FWD model. I sent that one back to HD after it totally failed to cut my lawn...which I have to note, I used my Zero Turn mower to cut down to 3" before I turned it loose. I had it dialed in for a few days, set to 3.5" cut height...and it failed miserably in a variety of spots in my lawn.

I have higher hopes for the AWD and it did not disappoint, amazing cut quality, more seamless navigation, less beeps, less interventions. However, it didn't meet my expectations from an App customization perspective and the cut-to-edge is a total miss as well given it has an inherent advantage with the Cut-to-zero blade being right at the EDGE of the mower!!

Has everyone experienced the same findings I did with the AWD model? The Navigation is an utter disaster to say the least. likely sending this one back too since it's tearing up my lawn every time it gets stuck doing a drunken loop.

Lymow One Plus - Overheating Issue Hack - DIY Photography Umbrella Fix for $10!! Does It Really Work?

As you are all aware by now, we were sold another beta model and have been their guinea pigs testing this thing they are calling the "Lymow One Plus" which actually has WORSE issues at the moment vs. the Lymow One...

The overheating issue is really a huge pain in the ass...being able to only mow ~15 mins at a time before the engines cut out is such BS. Its entirely unacceptable, but Lymow isn't fixing this anytime soon unless they flat-out replace the entire unit, which I doubt will happen given their track record.

I initially did the white deck wrap to stem the tide as best I can, but I bolted this $10 amazon photography camera umbrella that is silver and reflective, to cover the body of the mower as well. I didn't want to go the entire way of cutting open the deck and installing a heatsink etc to kill my warranty with the hope Lymow may take this unit back at some point and give me a new one.

Take it for what it is, this isn't a be-all end-all, but the mower ran ~20 mins at turbo blade speed in the 90F heat + 60+% humidity which is a marked improvement over my prior video in the sun which the mower lasted only 15 mins on turbo blade speed at lower temps (but I had the mulching cover on).

Until Lymow does something about this, im going to keep using the umbrella, which is only 20" wide and fits on the docking station no problem.

Worx Landroid WR3201 Smart Trim & FULL Review – Perfect Lawn Edges Finally?

Hey Guys,

This is the second video i've done for the WORX AI Vision Cloud Landroid Mower (FWD). This one is pretty indepth and captures the entirety of my thoughts around the FWD version of this mower. I couldn't find anyone who did a back to back test with smart trim on and off, up against walls fences etc, so hope this helps everyone when making a decision on a robotic mower with all the sales going on now for fathers day + prime day.

I'll be reviewing the AWD one next, so stay tuned.

This Video Covers:

-Smart Trim On/Off Comparison (Back To Back Cuts),

-Issues I Faced

-Software Shortcomings

-Final Verdict

Let me know your thoughts if you feel the same way I do about this mower.

New WORX Landroid AI Vision FWD | Unbox + Setup + Mapping + First Mow | Is it Legit?

Guys,

First Worx Landroid video i'm posting here. Been in the robotic lawnmower scene over the past year or so with a Eufy E18 and now a Lymow One Plus. I needed something to cut only my backyard and get as close to the edge as possible, given I have about 700 feet of fence/walls to take care of. Giant pain in the ass to use a weed wacker every week, so anything that is supposedly "cut to zero" I figured I would give a try. The Evovacs mower looks like a gimmick, and their support is awful, so I passed on that one.

This video covers the unboxing, setup, mapping and first mow with the Landroid AI Vision FWD mower. Overall, its pretty quick and does well on flat, dry ground. More to come on my next video when I really start putting it to the test and do a full review.

Lymow One Plus - Vinyl Install + Before/After Testing...Can It Mow The Tall Grass It Failed On In My Prior Video?

I followed the lead of many others on here and decided to wrap the deck of my Lymow One Plus in white vinyl to combat the overheating issue.

Overall, it wasn't too tedious. I did a pretty shitty job installing it, but it works as advertised.

I couldn't wait to get back to the side of my yard where the Lymow One Plus failed the other week. So I did some before/after testing with my temperature gun to see how it handled the tall grass/weeds. It had been 2 weeks since I mowed that section, so it grew quite a bit as you'd expect.

Overall, the One Plus did a great job and ran for almost 38 minutes without shutting off!!! Hell of alot better result vs. my prior video. Have a look and see for yourself.

Before anyone asks, I ended up taking off the mulching cover and the side bracket that holds it in place this weekend given I knew I was inevitably going to run into the motor overheating error sooner rather than later.

Temps for this cut were around 80F, Path spacing 9.8", blade speed TURBO, travel speed 1.6ft/second, cut height 4", obstacle avoidance: bumper only,

Just wanted to do this to show everyone the unit CAN still cut with the mulching chute closed, but yes I admit it works way better with the mulching chute open and bracket removed.

Going to test the machine out on some 3' high weeds next time around...yes I am living life on the edge and want to prove the machine is actually capable of tackling these things everyone dismisses and gets upset with me for trying.

Unbox +Testing | Greenworks Walk Behind 22" String Trimmer on Dense Vegetation | See The Results!

I've tried a bunch of different walk behind trimmers given i have about 700 feet of fence on my property, the gas ones either stopped working after X days (clutch/transmission issues) or the engines were crap...decided to give this one a try.

Just WOW, even after 1 year of ownership (I shot this video in 2025). It still works just as good, and i'm running oregon .115" line now on both ends, REALLY does the job well. motor never stalls or gets bogged down no matter how thick the brush is.

Easy to push and operate, big thumbs up to greenworks

Lymow One Plus - Comprehensive Maintenance Guide + Blade Sharpening How To

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to piece together all the necessary maintenance on this machine. Realized there wasn't a single video for the Lymow One Plus that covered everything soup-to-nuts, but I now have you covered. All the various posts here were super helpful around cleaning the blade housing, how to disassemble the top of the cutting deck, the WD-40 dry lube applications, track cleaning, and I found a short video on how to sharpen the blades as well.

Put all that together and you've got a comprehensive maintenance guide for the Lymow One Plus.

Only thing I didn't tackle is the disassembly of the lower blade deck to fix the 4 screws holding the deck housing to the mower itself...mine were tight and didn't need to be addressed, but I may revisit that at a later point in time.

As always, appreciate everyone's feedback and i'm going to be wrapping my mower deck in vinyl very soon and re-attempting to cut the field with tall brush/weeds again...Its been about 14 days since I last cut it so let's see how it does before/after temperature and performance-wise.

Lymow One Plus vs Tall Grass - The Struggle is Real -FAIL!

Guys,

Had my first total failure with the Lymow One Plus...while it was mowing. Usually it's issues with RTK signal getting lost, stuck of out of bounds, charging, batteries dying, cold weather, you name it...This time it was the Tall Grass that shut down my motor blades within 2 mins?! Seriously? It only got worse over time, I spent about 20 mins following the machine around mowing, cutting out, repeat, only mow for far less time then cut out for 1-2 spurts. Gave up eventually and said F it.

Wost part was, the machine thought it was mowing the entire time on the app, so it looked nearly complete when it didn't mow >50% of the zone!!

It was 92 degrees out that day, so yes I assume the motors may be overheating and shut off as a failsafe..but tell me in the app so I can send it home to charge and not waste my time or power. Doesn't make sense they haven't addressed this and it's been an issue for ages, dating back to the Lymow One.

Who else has had this same issue? Any way to possibly fix this besides mowing in the morning or dark? Will the next firmware update address this?

*Lymow* Listen up!! YOU NEED TO FIX THIS ASAP!!
