Lymow One Plus vs Eufy E18 - Detailed Comparison - Which One Is Worth The Investment?

After owning the Lymow One Plus for about 6 weeks now, ontop of the Eufy E18 I've owned since last April...I wanted to provide a detailed look at each mower, side-by-side.

Given I'm no longer a novice in this world and know what you should expect from a robotic mower, I cover all the must-haves, pros, cons, and which one is worth the investment ($1,500 vs $3,000).

I've gotten more savvy with screen recording, so you can see the app user interface while I demonstrate the mower cutting my backyard. Spent a great deal of time diving into all the features, which ones you should pay attention to...and best practices for ideal results with each mower.

Lastly, I've got some cool drone footage from my backyard demonstrating the cut patterns and quality for each mower, which may be the ultimate deciding factor for those of you on the fence.

Yes, I do believe you need a backup mower if you travel a bunch, since the Lymow One Plus is unreliable if it gets stuck or out of bounds somewhere...you won't be able to navigate home and will be screwed with an overgrown lawn by the time you get home...hence my reason for keeping the E18 for now.

I think i'll do a video filming the Lymow One Plus cutting some tall weeds/grass next time. Let me know what other content you guys want to see, and thanks for the support as always!

Greenworks 17" Brushless Trimmer vs Atlas 80v 16" Trimmer Showdown!!

Side by Side test I ran with my new Greenworks 17" brushless Trimmer vs the Atlas 80v 16" trimmer (existing)...you'll have to watch and see where the Atlas fell short, but i'm quite happy with my Greenworks to say the least!

Finally found the BEST RTK antenna placement in my yard - .003 Precision!! 75 feet from the base station

So, like all of you here on this subreddit, i've been testing a number of locations around my yard that were relatively close to the base station or an eletrical outlet (limited by ~30 feet or so given the length of the RTK cable + extension).

If you can recall in my prior videos, I had my RTK cable zip tied to the top of the fence that is open in the 4th picture, but realized it still wasn't working in perfect harmony when i filmed my "RTK Test DIRECTLY under a pine tree" video and my signal was 3.00+ most of the video.

I sought out some outside the box ideas and decoupled my RTK antenna from the base station, started moving it all around the lawn nearby the base, but anywhere the antenna was going to "blend in" or not stand out like an eyesore in my front yard, the signal was crap.

I moved to my backyard for further testing and kept moving it down the fence as far as possible without getting close to the big trees at the bottom (100 ft). Wound up choosing this spot and wanted to understand what was the best way to hide the wires so the lymow wouldn't accidentally chop them up. I used ground stakes initially, but they were too much of a risk when i had to weed-wack the area.

Found these rubber cable protectors on Amazon that actually worked really well. still debating whether I should spraypaint them black or just leave the yellow so people don't accidentally trip on them. The nice part about them is you can nail them into the ground with 8" anchor stakes and not have to worry about them being chopped up by your lymow/weed wacker. I also had to mount the RTK power pack and the extension cord connection inside a box so the mower wouldn't get near it, used my lawn bench to keep it away from the mower and mapped around that area (still waiting on an RTK extension cord from lymow!!!!)

You'll notice i took the RTK antenna apart, used the bottom half to protect the wire as best it could, duct taped the wire to the fence and then attached the top of the RTK antenna to the top of the fence with a zip tie and duct taped it down so it wouldn't move. Heck I would put it higher in the air if Lymow sells the RTK antenna extensions!?

After countless hours of testing, mapping, remapping and testing some more, I can sit back and relax knowing i have the best RTK base location in my yard.

How to get the Worx 320.1 to cut close to a border/fence?!?!

New user here. I've got a lymow one plus and sold my eufy e18. I don't understand the map logic on this unit as the eufy would go EXACTLY to the border I drew. As does the brute lymow. Both just plow ahead until they reach the fence or whatever and hit resistance. The worx just stops short and becomes afraid to cut near a border?@ wtf? Why? It says cut to zero but I have to rely on smart trim to get near an edge. I cant tell it to get X distance to the edge. Huge flaw in my opinion.

Here is my map..as you can see it doesn't get 90% of the border. The only parts it did there wasn't a fence or wall involved.

Lymow One Plus - BRUTAL Test - Can it Mow a Zone FULL of ROCKS?!

Lymow One Plus - BRUTAL Test - Can it Mow a Zone FULL of ROCKS?!

Yes, I realize I'm pushing the limits of this mower, but I really want to see what it's capable of. I didn't buy a mower with tank tracks and 4" cut height to have it cut a flat lawn!! Going to see what this bad boy can handle...and it responded remarkably.

Not ONCE did it hit a rock, get stuck, or need me to intervene (you can watch my screen the entire time to verify this).

So far, the only big gripe I have is the charging issues in the rain/damp conditions. I'll make another video compiling all the various issues I've had so far and the reason i'm buying a backup mower to replace my Eufy E18...(Worx Landroid WR230.1).

I'm going to also video the mower cutting some tall grass/weeds to see how it handles that as well.

Let me know what else you guys want to see, i'm a man of the people!

Why wont my mower charge?! Rain?

Battery at 1% now about to die. It either tells me bumper jammed trying to charge or some type of charger not detected error...this is quite frustrating.

Rain stopped a few hours ago..I also shoved Styrofoam and duct tape in the moisture sensor area. What else can I do to make it charge if its moist outside? More duct tape? I dont want to use those silica packets.

Also, why wont the app tell me that the machine needs to turn off instead of draining the battery to zero while it refuses to charge?

I used rubbing alcohol and the usual paper towels to try to fix it. No luck.

This sucks

Lymow One Plus | Testing the Limits on Steep Grades (38%) - Plus Reactions With Other Issues During Cutting

Lymow One Plus - Testing the Limits on Steep Grades (38%), Something else actually was more of an issue by the end, can you guess...it's software related.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the Lymow One Plus, besides the charging issues and occasional RTK getting lost issues, but it does one hell of a job cutting and tackling steep grades.

No music in this video, just straight Lymow One Plus footage.

Next I'll cover how the Lymow One Plus cuts a VERY rocky zone...pushing this mower to the limits!

Lymow One Plus - BAD RTK Test - Mowing DIRECTLY under a Tree...Can It Tackle a Complete Zone Without Getting Lost?

Promised you guys I would test the Lymow One Plus' ability to mow a complete zone with Bad (Red) RTK...I wanted to make this as challenging as possible so I picked a spot directly under one of my pine trees.

Honestly was surprised with the results. I figured it would veer off course into the rocks or onto the walking path adjacent to my house, or just get stuck and drive off altogether.

RTK bounced around between .01 --> 3.18 for most of the test, see what you think.

Let me know what you want to see for my next test. Deciding between either a steep hill test or some tall grass/weeds.

Best review I've seen so far on the new model with edge trimming. Guy does 5+ mins (its a paid promo).. but he does an honest review

Lymow One Plus - Mulching Review - Real World TEST! Branches, Leaves, Twigs, Just about everything but the Kitchen Sink, Let's see how it performs!?

This test is the TOUGHEST to date that I threw at my Lymow One Plus...the wooded area behind my fence has never been cleaned up and is my dumping ground for any branches, twigs, leaves, wood chips and grass clippings...needless to say, I'm highly impressed with the outcome.

This is a shorter video for those who don't have the attention span or time to watch a full 30+ minute review.

Thanks again everyone for your feedback as always!

Let me know your thoughts and what you'd like to see next! Will probably focus on my Lymow One Plus cutting a steep hill.

Lymow One Plus - First Mow + Reaction - Obstacle Avoidance Is Not Ready For Prime Time

Thanks for your feedback on my last two videos guys, I fixed the White Balance on this one and reached out to Lymow for the green battery plug part i'm missing.

This video covers my first mow, obstacles I ran into where the mower got stuck, docking issues, and an initial reaction

Let me know what else you would like me to test or compare. I'm leaning towards something with ZERO RTK coverage (directly under a pine tree) to see how the mower handles zones with no RTK, plus cutting some steep terrain and some really rocky stuff too.

Stay tuned for more...next up i'll cover the mulching abilities within the woods behind my fence.

I've owned my Lymow One Plus for a few weeks now...I cover how to map any zone, step by step.

-Mapped extremely rocky zones + steep inclines (21 degrees) + narrow zones (4 feet width)

-Also covering the software issues where one of my zones wouldn't map properly and the other one disappeared after 20+ mins of mapping!!

This is another DETAILED video, let me know your thoughts!

Next video will cover my first mow + obstacle avoidance failures + getting stuck multiple times...stay tuned!
