**Reconnecting After JEE Prep**

So during my Class 11 and 12 JEE preparation days, I had a study buddy. We used to talk a lot, but at some point I shifted to another city because of my dad's job transfer. Even after that, we stayed in touch through Instagram.

Now that my prep is finally over, I was doing the most peaceful thing : deleting old notes, PDFs, and all that study material. While going through my Google Drive, I realized I never actually had my Class 11 JEE modules. She used to send me study materials whenever I needed them, and back then she would email them to me. So while I was clearing things out, I came across those files and her name was right there in the email.

Here's the backstory though: we had lost touch because Zuckerberg somehow deleted my account for no reason, and I lost all my contacts with it. So seeing her name in those emails, I thought who even checks their mail these days? but I mailed her anyway.

And she actually replied.

Now, a little context: back during prep, there was a girl named Prashi who had a crush on me and was always trying to flirt. I never liked her and kept my distance because she was honestly pretty toxic.

So when I mailed my study buddy, instead of a normal "hey, how are you," she jumped straight to asking why I had blocked her , which I never did. She also started throwing taunts about Prashi being my girlfriend. I mean, let me breathe first at least!

But honestly, despite all the taunts, it felt really nice. She remembered everything. I had completely forgotten about Prashi, yet here she was, remembering every little detail. I had always remembered her too. I had even thought that if I ever went back to that town, I'd meet her in person. That chance never came, but reconnecting now feels really good.
