I've noticed something interesting in discussion forums.

When someone asks for a big idea or a deep truth, many replies become personal beliefs, life stories, or political opinions instead of answering the actual question.

For example:

Question: "What is one truth that you believe, but you feel most of the world has not yet seen?"

Instead of giving a new idea, many replies become:

"I don't believe in God."

"Social media is bad."

"I was a nurse for years..."

Those may be interesting opinions, but they don't necessarily answer the question.

Why do you think this happens?

Is it because people naturally think in stories rather than abstract ideas? Or is it simply difficult to identify a genuine "big idea"?

I'm not looking for conspiracy theories or political arguments.

I'm interested in simple but deep truths about human nature, life, technology, relationships, society, or the future—ideas that changed the way you see the world.

What is one belief or realization you think most people will only understand years from now?

I'd love to hear your perspective.

My Samsung A05s works normally most of the time, but sometimes the touchscreen suddenly becomes completely unresponsive for around 2–3 minutes.

After a while it starts working again by itself

No major cracks on the display.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a software issue or the touch digitizer failing?

So this actually happened during my university thesis defense, and now I have the most legendary but embarrassing graduation group photo ever

​When I was planning my outfit, I genuinely thought wearing my black Foam Runners with a tailored suit would look clean and futuristic I was so confident about the vibe that I even tried to convince my boys to roll up to the defense rocking the same look A few of them actually hyped me up and agreed at first, but when the big day came, they totally flaked They all showed up in regular, shiny leather dress shoes and told me they couldn’t go through with it

​The worst part is I actually had a proper pair of dress shoes sitting right there in my room I literally chose to leave them behind because I just wasn't feeling the stiff leather and thought my setup was elite Everything felt perfect and I thought I looked like a genius right up until we all gathered at the studio for the final group photo.

​That was the exact moment reality hit me hard We took a group shot where I’m literally sitting dead center on a stool Everyone else is in full black suits, black ties, and formal black dress shoes looking completely sharp And then there’s me, right in the middle flexing a full suit with futuristic space-crocs

​I stood out like a sore thumb. Looking at the photo now, it looks like a straight-up meme I passed the defense, but this photo is going to haunt me for the rest of my IT career

​TL,DR Left my actual dress shoes at home to wear black Yeezy Foam Runners with a full suit to my graduation defense My boys flaked on the look, leaving me sitting dead center in the final group photo looking like a complete meme

After finishing university I started thinking seriously about building something of my own instead of only working for other people long term

I’ve always been interested in technology networking internet systems and mobile connectivity so I decided to start a small tech resource website and slowly grow it step by step A lot of websites either

overload pages with ads

repeat the same trending news

or explain things in a way that feels too technical for normal users

So over the past few months, I’ve been building my own platform while learning everything along the way writing articles organizing content, improving the structure of the site and understanding what people actually find useful

Honestly it’s been harder than I expected. Consistency is probably the biggest challenge

For people here who regularly read tech blogs forums or resource websites

What makes you trust a tech platform?

What do you think most tech websites are still missing today?

I’d genuinely like to hear honest feedback and different perspectives

From the outside, it sounds like the goal get into something that pays well, secure your future live comfortably

But I’m curious how many people actually got there and realized the trade offs weren’t worth it

Long hours, stress no time burnout feeling stuck things people don’t really talk about early on

If you’ve experienced it would you still choose the same path again?

Everyone talks about the “safe” path — degree → job → promotion → stable life

But I’m starting to wonder how many people followed that path and quietly regretted it later
