I dream of it ...

My Stilltent is essential.

Sandstorms are terrifying.

My Stillsuit is my lifeline.

Water discipline is the difference between life and death.

I have ridden the Maker.

...but then I awaken.

I have 5 Million water, I have no use for a Stillsuit, my Stilltent is dry-rotted, the Maker eludes me

Hey guys I have a question about Wildlands, Ghost War on PC

Do you guys know if Ghost War (the PvP mode) for Wildlands has a populated player base? Last time I tried it there was no one in the lobby.

Opinion: Battlegrounds, Arena, PvP stat tracking, and PvP specific rewards are a good idea.

This feels like the only solution left for PvP, and it's NOT a bad one. These systems are familiar to people. You can only rely on open world PvP if you have an open world. Dune Awakening is the opposite of an open world game. Every zone is its own compartment, and that's by design. We can argue about the quality of that design decision, but it's unlikely to change.

So, if you're interested in PvP do you agree with the notion of BG's, and arenas, in addition to whatever PvP exists in the Deep Desert?

I'm looking for weekly social activities for my 12 year old son.

He's into gaming, talking about gaming, playing outside, just hanging out, nerf, etc. he's not big on sports.

Info appreciated.

20 years on 12 hour nights has taught me this

If you can sleep, sleep. You'll be tempted to try and plan your sleep, hoping for ideal rest. It might work, or you might end up going in with zero sleep. If your body gets sleepy, just do it. It might be all you get.

Inspired by someone else's post, I decided to ask chat to imagine me, retired.

I never thought I had any actual retirement goals but now they are completely f****** solidified.

Private Server idea; Optional and customizable No-Fly Zones in Hagga Basin should be a standard feature.

What specific controls do you want to have over your private server if and when you get one?

What benefit is there to limiting the O.M. feld of view? This has got to be one of the easiest QOL adjustments possible. Having a limited POV is not interesting.

Do I need to break down everything in my base before I use the tool? Can I leave the refineries, fabricators, etc. constructed?

Will all items in storage containers be saved in the tool? Do I have to break down my vehicles and store them in boxes? What are the things people miss and end up losing? How can I do this perfectly??? 😂

I'm so nervous...

Thank you for the responses!!

Preface: I love PvP. It is the reason I play games. When I search for new games I literally filter out games with no PvP. I love high consequence PvP where loot and progress is on the line.

Dune Awakening accomplishes all these things in the least fun way imaginable.

I prepared my loadout for ground combat. I prepared my thopter for air to air combat. Years of tested game theory suggested that I would at the very least have a chance to be on equal footing with opposing players. I headed into the PvP Deep Desert intentionally looking for the PvP experience I knew awaited me. I expected to find PvP players just like me; PvP skills, loadout , rockets, etc. I circled the map. A large spice blow went up and I headed for it immediately assuming there would be action. Once I got close to it a Scout Thopter with a naked player on top of it flew near me and started hitting me with a Lasgun. I tried to maneuver and line up my rockets but he just hovered in one spot turning on a dime damaging me. It was hopeless. In a few seconds I was dead. I will never return.

The fact that Funcom allows this type of mechanic to remain in the game makes it feel like there's no adult in charge. Yea it's funny in the Beta, but most players expect stuff like this to be patched out.

After 12/13 years, our family pets, Derp and Koda have passed away. Derp was an Australian Shepard. We enjoyed having such an intelligent breed. Koda was a chow mix rescue. (Pictures included)

We own three acres of land with a large portion being fenced in. Our new family member will be an inside/outside dog, at will.

We are looking to adopt a BC puppy. I'm asking for information about reputable breeders in the Southeast. We are very experienced with dogs, especially those with high energy. We are committed to training, exercise, and socialization.

I understand rescues are available. In the past we have adopted rescues. However, at this time we are looking for a puppy who can grow up with our children.

Any advice is appreciated.
