Whats the purpose of the RPG ?

Whats the purpose of the RPG ?

Like i did my usual port farming route and got 3 of those bad girls but it seems they are bad in the same way as i am cus it can't even kill a devourer on a direct hit.

so yeah any use except for.... maybe money or offing myself trying to use it in pvp ?

Is the medic useless in vanilla reforger ?

So i recently started playing arma after watching a lot of drewski's and rimies content for years.

First time playing was amazing as i talked to a squad mate and we took back some bases from the fia and then sneaked into a us base to sneak grab it.

And i noticed that the only times when people seemed to not... insta die was after a grenade or explosive hit near them.

(Saw a survivor first after i threw a nade into a group and then flanked em and then after a friendly blew my mate up i ,who was standing behind him also just got knocked out.)

So i feel like the medic role is kinda.... useless ? Except for healing injuries after you survive a fight and catch a stray or crash a car

Any modpacks like Casket of reveries ?

Its my favorite modpack and i genuinly loved most aspects of it finished it 100% and would love a similar epic fight based adventure modpack with a bit of a story and no need to craft or build but the possibility to do so anyway.

(The only reason i had a house in casket of reveries was for missions from the guild, enchanting and my anvil and ofc for the aether and nether portals)

Is the game for me if i liked pantheon rise of the fallen ?

tldr i like the combat and the "sit down to regen" thing but am a bit unsure about both the new player expierence and also if i can play it starting out alone and finding groups in game without being forced to have several alt accounts as my other party members as i heard its common here

Edit: Bad wording as i said "solo" instad of "starting out alone and finding groups in game"

How to overcome Co op fear ?

I don't mind playing games against people but playing with someone else is just really difficult for me because i always feel like i am a burden to everyone else.

the last game where i forced myself to play with others was highguard and there i also felt like a burden.

i usually play pvp oriented games that have a solo mode like arc raiders or marathon.

games like Helldivers, deep rock forever winter etc that are co op pve just scare me to the point where i feel horrid after i convince myself to play with others.

why do the campaign battle maps not follow the same format as the tokens ?

so i recently got the campaign Sirens Song A Mountains Remorse as its advertised as beginner friendly and when setting stuff up and testing how it looks with tokens i noticed that the maps don't fit the token formats. they offer a map with squares and and map with hexes but... the hex map seems to not be correct.

(Mod:Trickster) how do i draw these runes when its not possible to lift the pen ?

So these 2 runes seem to be the only ones that are impossible to draw as both the ploy of the Usurper and ploy of the entitled need me to draw several lines. 2 for the entitled and the 6 for the usurper while its only possible to draw one continuous line that can't go back the same path it went once already.

i couldn't find any way to "lift the pen" so to speak and all other spells are designed around the limitation too.

is there a mod with an alchemy based magic system like Lord of mysteries ?

Essentially you get abilities from potions and as your body digests it through you playing the "role" the potion is named after you get stronger and then you need the next potion in the pathway etc.

like "instigator" to "witch".

there are monsterous creatures that come from losing one self and magical relics.

the base idea doesn't seem so far fetched so i was hopping someone might have made one thats kinda like.... apotheosis through potions... i guess
