Is Brooklyn touristy like Manhattan?

I’m going to New York soon, and really want to see Brooklyn! I’ve never been. Are there cool spots/sights like there are in Manhattan? I’d love some recommendations for what to see, specifically in the Downtown/Brooklyn Heights area

Using math to determine the best NFL franchises!

I’ve used an algorithm of sorts to find out once and for all which NFL franchises are the best, and which are the worst over time. My criteria for this is:

Super Bowl Championship: 20 points
Super Bowl appearance: 10 points
Conference championship appearance: 5 points
Playoff win: 1 point
Playoff appearance: 1 point
Division championship: 2 points
MVP: 1 point
Hall of Famer: 1 point per member

But additionally, since the NFL did in fact exist before the Super Bowl, I’ve added some criteria for this period as well, but given it less weight.

NFL/AFL Championship: 10 points
NFL/AFL Championship appearance: 5 points
Playoff win: 1 point
Playoff appearance: 1 point
Division championship: 2 points
MVP: 1 point
Hall of Famer: 1 point

I know this is an arbitrary way to measure success, but it’s fun! Here are the results:

  1. Green Bay Packers - 509 NFL points
  2. New England Patriots - 455
  3. Pittsburgh Steelers - 434
  4. San Francisco 49ers - 423
  5. Dallas Cowboys - 417
  6. New York Giants - 401
  7. Kansas City Chiefs - 349
  8. Los Angeles Rams - 340
  9. Chicago Bears - 334
  10. Washington Commanders - 313
  11. Philadelphia Eagles - 309
  12. Las Vegas Raiders - 303
  13. Denver Broncos - 293
  14. Indianapolis Colts - 289
  15. Minnesota Vikings - 221
  16. Miami Dolphins - 216
  17. Cleveland Browns - 211
  18. Buffalo Bills - 202
  19. Seattle Seahawks - 188
  20. Tennessee Titans - 159
  21. Detroit Lions - 153
  22. Los Angeles Chargers - 147
  23. Baltimore Ravens - 144
  24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 138
  25. New York Jets - 119
  26. Arizona Cardinals - 107
  27. Cincinnati Bengals - 106
  28. New Orleans Saints - 98
  29. Atlanta Falcons - 90
  30. Carolina Panthers - 77
  31. Jacksonville Jaguars - 43
  32. Houston Texans - 34

Now this way of scoring it may have a tendency to reward older teams (which I personally think is fine, but in any case), and so I’ve also broken it down by how many years each team has been in the league, and this is how that worked itself out:

  1. New England Patriots - 6.89 NFL points per year
  2. Dallas Cowboys - 6.32
  3. San Francisco 49ers - 5.57
  4. Kansas City Chiefs - 5.29
  5. Green Bay Packers - 4.801
  6. Baltimore Ravens - 4.8
  7. Pittsburgh Steelers - 4.67
  8. Las Vegas Raiders - 4.59
  9. Denver Broncos - 4.44
  10. New York Giants - 3.97
  11. Indianapolis Colts - 3.96
  12. Seattle Seahawks - 3.84
  13. Los Angeles Rams - 3.82
  14. Miami Dolphins - 3.6
  15. Minnesota Vikings - 3.4
  16. Washington Commanders - 3.33
  17. Philadelphia Eagles - 3.32
  18. Chicago Bears - 3.15
  19. Buffalo Bills - 3.06
  20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 2.82
  21. Cleveland Browns - 2.78
  22. Carolina Panthers - 2.48
  23. Tennessee Titans - 2.41
  24. Los Angeles Chargers - 2.23
  25. Cincinnati Bengals - 1.83
  26. New York Jets - 1.8
  27. New Orleans Saints - 1.66
  28. Detroit Lions - 1.59
  29. Atlanta Falcons - 1.5
  30. Houston Texans - 1.42
  31. Jacksonville Jaguars - 1.39
  32. Arizona Cardinals - 1.01

There you go! Hope you enjoyed this. Let me know if you have any feedback on if my math isn’t mathing, or if you have ways to improve this.

Which NFL team had the best culture in the 80s?

I wasn’t around at the time, but I love the vibe I get from the 80s NFL. Sadly, my Packers were ass. Which team had the best culture, or was the most fun to be a fan of?

How to play taller?

Is there a mod that incentivizes nations to play tall and not as blobby/adds more to internal development? I figure MEIOU and Taxes would be it, but my computer can’t handle it :(

My ideal game is something like tall Persia, where you fight to consolidate your region, turtle and build up defenses, and develop your kingdom. I guess I like RPing being a beloved ruler that makes everything better for my citizens

Why was the House of Lords in Britain reformed?

I’m still new to monarchy, and was looking into the House of Lords and how it works. I don’t understand the move away from hereditary peers. This tradition has worked for hundreds and hundreds of years. Additionally, it appears to me as if the British government acts as a unicameral state as is. Why would they try to make the House of Lords even more powerless? What are they thinking?

How to explain to people that you’re not a fascist?

As a monarchist, fascism is quite at odds with my personal viewpoint. However, I find myself on the right politically, where fascism also is, and so people (idiots) on the internet accuse me of being a fascist. Part of me thinks it’s a waste of time to enter into a debate with people like this, but regardless, what’s a good way to describe the difference between the two?

Most “masculine” philosophers?

I’m not even really sure how to explain what I mean by the word masculine. But I suppose in essence I’m looking to read something about strength, honor, courage, etc. Traditionally masculine virtues that are wrapped up in an inspiring philosophical framework

Is Verne or Busilar closer to Spain

Culturally, geographically, historically (ie what they do in the course of the game), etc. I want to play Spain in a fantasy land and do a sort of Mask of Zorro thing

Another benefit to monarchism is the insane drip

I think this genuinely can be considered a good argument for monarchism

Does anyone have a good plan for a US east coast/northeast road trip?

I want to go decently in depth and see the big important spots on the eastern coast of my beautiful nation, starting in Virginia (maybe Charlottesville area?) and going up to Boston. This is like the one area of the country I haven’t spent a ton of time in compared to what’s available to see. 1 or 2 weeks would be fantastic, and I don’t mind sleeping in my car. Is that normal? I don’t take a ton of road trips. I’d love to have my final stop in Newport, RU since I’m going into OCS and will be living there for a few months!

Latveria-like nations?

I want to RP as a ruler that’s kind of like Doctor Doom, in that I’m ruthless to my enemies and maybe even a little fascist and/or supremacist, but also genuinely care for my people and build my nation up to be the pinnacle of existence. What’s a good nation for this?

Fun nations for a new-ish player?

Hi all, looking for a fun nation to play in Anbennar. I have maybe 2000 hours in the base game, and have done both a Verne and Corvuria campaign up to about 1500, so still relatively new, and I have a lot to learn. I remember having a blast and I want to take another swing at Anbennar.

What are some nations with flavor-heavy mission trees that have a mix of moderate expansion with internal tall-esque play? I really like a balanced approach. Preferably something more in Cannor, Gerudia, or possibly Bulwar playing as humans or elves since I’m more familiar with them. And if this even makes sense, maybe a country with a strong nationalist streak (for roleplay reasons)?
