I'm confused, how do you get Bilt to go through United Card. When I click to pay rent it just deducts from my bank account. I don't see how you can select to use your united card or any card. I see people saying you can do that but I don't know how in the interface to accomplish that. I have the palldium card and have linked credit cards in my wallet.
I was asking my wife if we should potentially turn off the surround sound system with our puppy in the room. We got her just 2 weeks ago or so. I’ve noticed that when sounds come from random places behind us or above us (for certain movies that have good surround sound) and how confusing it must be for the puppy.
Curious peoples opinions? Some people have said just let her get used to it and others have said for the initial period as she is getting used to her new house, just use the front sound.
I’ve since kept it off, and when it does flip on automatically it seems to make her look around and question what the hell is going on.
Our new Girl Quinn. We weren't sure what she was as the pound said she was a retriever mix but we did a DNA test and she is 50% Pitt, 20% Shepard, 20% "super mutt", and 10% boxer.
But we love her just as much even if she wasn't the lab we were thinking we were getting as she has the sweetest personality, loves other dogs, kids, exploring, loves sleeping next to us, and is a clever little girl.
She is now 10 weeks, and really developing her personality and just overall a great pup. Never thought I would own a Pitt but I know that everything about the negative sides is from a bad history of abusers and she will be a sweetheart that we will love. We do hate the fact that it will be a bit hard with her being a pitt for different services but the moment you meet her she is just the most happy, loving, girl.

Team Strategy - I over paid for the aero guy, so he can do double duty

This is how I think Lawrence thinks. He invested so much money in extremely over priced scenarios and didn’t realize that the ‘26 regulations just reset everyone. Sure they were great before, and sure there was talent. But we are seeing Redbull has the strongest engine, Mercedes has the strongest electrical systems, Ferrari has the strongest aero, and Aston Martin has none of those things. And those 3 have the strongest drivers. Between the 3 but maybe I can sneak Alonso in there.
Has anyone filed with the CFPB because BILT would not accept a dispute that has all the evidence against the vendor and does not supply the reason they denied the claim. After providing all of the evidence that is against the vendor they just wrote back: (I blanked out the charged). I moved to the CFPB as the next method to see if they would refute it then moving to small claims court if they do not. Before anyone says you signed in the ToS against court order that does not apply to small claims court.
In any other cards they would provide the merchant response so you have a chance to respond back.

Also heard people say that Cardless is responsible for the decisions. Which if that is the case, then Bilt should give direct access to Cardless to talk to. At the end of the day who do we talk to. I have clear evidence that the vendor not only didn't deliver on what they said (and admitted it) but once I did a charge back they said they are no longer going to talk to me until the charge back is resolved even though I said I will reverse the dispute if they just work with me for an reasonable response.
My normal response when either someone admits it or its clear its a rep:
I have 2 gen's I bought in the 10k price range and have 10 reps that I love and no one would know and when I either play the game that they are real or admit it people are either impressed or disgusted. The people who are disgusted are general people I don't care their opinion and the people who find it impressing, love the craftmanship and quality and whatnot and agree getting something 95-98% of the actual watch for 1/50th the cost its a fun game.
I don't want to gatekeeper like wear what makes you feel comfortable.

Listening to the recent expert on experts, and then looking up the people they don’t have anything I’d like to see as an expert like peer reviewed studies, published papers, part of fellow groups all studying the issue they are speaking/wrote on.
It feels very much like an actual arm chair expert, the experts just are people who wrote a book and are on their media tour. But aside from people who write books I feel like Dax and Monica barely question anything or put a real challenge forward or dive anything deeper than just asking basic questions and just accept what people say. Feels like this is going the Joe Rogan path of just inviting people on and just accepting what people say in the moment of time.
But look at people’s backgrounds. It’s just kinda sad that these are the experts.

I have something weird that has happened. All new movies I add to a particular drive, it just won't pick up. If I move them onto a new drive they are picked up. But the other movies that existed on the drive, they are still running just fine. There is plenty of space left and not sure why all of a sudden this drive is just no longer getting new movies picked up by plex. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
I’m so confused on why people would vote no on term limits. There was already a measure in place to have term limits but a stupid loophole if you took a break you could run again. This shut down that loophole and imposed term limits. There is an extremely valid reason term limits exist not just to stop incumbents from staying in power but also (which now is extremely debatable) because if you know you can’t run for election again you are less likely to fall into interest groups but as we’ve seen people will do favors until their last day in office so they get a kush job when they get out. Regardless term limits should be imposed on any branch of government as we’ve seen congressmen/women and senators all need term limits.
Not sure why people would vote against closing the loop hole on term limits. Can anyone give a reason why you voted against this?
I've gotten tired of trying to write books using AI for topics I like and ideas floating around in my head. So I thought about it and redesigned the entire system to take into account the world building, characters, continuity, and be able to segment chapters out and edit and re-build. The goal was that most AI tooling doesn't carry over continuity or take into account elements like characters, the world into each chapter of a book, or it doesn't take the prior events into account for the future chapters.
This is also completely free right now, I just want feedback on it. It's running behind the scenes DeepSeek Flash but you can override the default model with your own credentials to use maybe a specialized fine-tuned creative writing LLM.
The part I really spent a lot of time on was the continuity engine which allows you to as mentioned above take the world, characters, existing content, and write more chapters and even edit and go back and then re-write chapters based on things you change!
I have to admit the UI is a bit weak right now due to trying to figure out the easiest way to make something very complex, as simple as possible so anyone could become an author.
If anyone could give me feedback that would be great. You can use all the feature generation including image (video coming soon) but also just layouts and workflows need a lot of work but I think most people can get by with my sample book that I load into the library.
