I’d love to draw you or your pet :)
Here’s some drawings I’ve already made of people here or in similar subreddits :D
Edit: Woooow so many replies thank you, it may take me some time but I will definitely try to draw everyone

He has sooo many great moments but one of my favorites has to be “remember you’re a scumbag, think scummy thoughts like this”
every time I watch that scene I wonder if, since they called at the same time, the message wasn’t recorded so they never heard it. Idk I don’t usually leave voice messages so I’m clueless
I have a 3 month old rescue puppy, I found her on the street a month ago. She had Giardia and anemia got treatment for a week and was cleared of both, she doesn’t have any vaccines because we are waiting for her to be completely healthy. A week ago we took her in to check for parvo and distemper (just as a precaution since she didn’t really have any symptoms). She got cleared from parvo but got presumptive positive for distemper
TEST: Canine Distemper Virus Antigen (CDV Ag)
5.24 ng/mL
Presumptive to canine Distemper virus antigen (CDV Ag)
my vet said it was probably a false positive and to retake the test in a week. I took her in on Monday and just got the results, she still has presumptive positive and this time the value is higher
TEST: Canine Distemper Virus Antigen (CDV Ag)
6.67 ng/mL
Presumptive to canine Distemper virus antigen (CDV Ag)
Vet said that she could be a carrier, not have any symptoms and develop immunity or that she might be starting distemper. She said to look out for symptoms like coughing and eye sections, and that we can test again in a week. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid or not but there are some things that she’s been doing and I’m not sure if they are symptoms or unrelated.
- She has eye sections, she has always had them (vet is aware) but they are white or transparent and don’t seem to bother her
- She has vomited twice (vet knows) but both times her vomit contained grass or other things besides food, after vomiting she went right back to sleep (I try to keep an eye on her 24/7 but she always finds a way to eat something she’s not supposed to, my vet said she probably does it out of habit from living on the streets)
-She has gas and her stool is too soft but not liquid (vet said it is probably because she had Giardia)
-She has been sneezing a little (vet knows) but it seems like she’s imitating my other dog (a Shih Tzu that sneezes when he wants attention)
-She has lots of hiccups frequently sometimes even without having eaten or drunk anything, they only last a couple minutes tho
-She snores when she’s asleep since day one, vet said it could be because she gets too relaxed
-She has coughed 3 times in the span of a week (vet knows)
-She has normal appetite and eats a lot very eagerly
-She plays a lot but also sleeps a lot which I guess is normal bc she’s a puppy
Is it possible that these symptoms are unrelated?? Should I take her to another vet? I’m so scared please please please help
video of her behaving weird and then vomiting
Most recent hemogram
I got her 3 weeks ago she bites and destroys everything but I love her so much
She’s a mix of Labrador and something else I’m not sure, she’s almost 3 months old I’ve had her for 3 weeks. I found her when I was coming home from the market she was very dehydrated and I took her to the vet she got an iv and blood test and she seemed fine a week after I took her in and she had giardia, no symptoms, also her hemoglobin was very low so now she’s taking metronidazole and hemolitan. She’s gaining weights and growing really quickly. I have an adult Shih Tzu already and I tried to look for a shelter that could keep her but they are all over capacity (in my country most of them are just run by people that want to help dogs, and most barely make enough money to feed them) I’ve already spent like 400 dollars on her, (I know this doesn’t seem like a lot but it’s a lot of money in my country) She has really bad separation anxiety and even being away for a couple minutes will make her cry and scream, and she’s on that stage where they bite everything and her teeth are really sharp. I know all of this is normal behavior for a puppy but my shih tzu was sooo different when he was a baby, he was really calm and well behaved, he never really bit and he wouldn’t cry much when he was alone, so I don’t know how to deal with this. Right now I’m preparing for an university admission exam, so even though I’d really love to stay with her all day I really have to go out to study. Before I found out she had giardia I gave her a bunch of plushies and made a dummy that kinda looked like me and it seemed to be working a little but since I found out I’ve disinfected everything and I’m trying to not give her many toys until she finishes her treatment. I just don’t know what to do now I really want her to be ok.
My rescue puppy has giardia, she’s starting treatment but I’m concerned about how to disinfect her plushies, bed, my bed sheets and other things that she was in contact with. I read that cyst can’t be killed or removed with alcohol, that they have to be exposed to sunlight and if so, how much time should I expose items before being sure all cysts are gone? Also if I pour boiling water on top of clothes before washing them, will that get rid of the cysts?
sorry if this is horribly written, English is my second language and I’m so very anxious and nervous rn
I rescued a little two month old puppy I found on the street two weeks ago, she was so dehydrated and I took her to the vet that same day. They took a hemogram and a stool sample. Both came back fine and we waited a week to give her first vaccine. This Monday I took her in and I told them some things I noticed throughout the week and the vet decided to take another hemogram this time her hemoglobin was very low at 10, she didn’t have fleas when I found her and hasn’t lost blood so the vet suspected parasites. Test came back about two hours ago and it says she has giardia, she was bloated and gassy yesterday but hasn’t had diarrhea (other than the first day, vet said it was normal bc she gave her an anti parasite). Im truly distraught, I don’t know if I’m making a bigger deal out of this but from what I’ve seen giardia cannot be disinfected with alcohol and can live for months on a surface. And 1-10 cyst is enough to infect a dog. I saw a girl whose dog been fighting recurrent cases of giardia for a year. I don’t know what to do. This puppy I rescued was probably neglected because she has this habit of eating her poop and really bad separation anxiety so when I leave for class she goes nuts on her cradle and steps on her poop and spreads it everywhere. Please any advice
I just got a new ringneck a week ago. He is kind of a rescue since he lived in a small cage with no toys, and he didn’t really interact with humans before coming here. He was my uncle’s pet, and sadly, in my country, most people with pet birds don’t interact with them or even see them as pets; they’re usually bought only to look at.
I already had a ringneck before him. She’s tamed and such a lovely little bird, and I have a great relationship with her. She loves to be around me and even follows me around. We got a floor-to-ceiling cage specifically built for her, so they both have plenty of space there now. My new bird is living in the same cage as her, and they seem to get along fine.
I have had untamed lovebirds before, and I was able to tame them by letting them out in my room while I studied. With time, they started approaching me and even let me pet them. However, my new ringneck doesn’t want to get out of the cage, and I don’t want to force him out. I also assume ringnecks are much harder to tame than lovebirds. Any tips pls?
I found this baby in my front door earlier today, I picked it up and left him near there so his parents would get him, 4 hours went by and he was still there, and it was starting to get cold outside so I placed him in a box with a warm bottle and a blanket. I saw online you could feed baby pigeons nestum so I gave him like 1cc with a syringe and then again 3 hours later. There aren’t any rehab centers for birds in my town. He seems kinda old maybe 3 or more, he has most of his feathers already. I think he’s old enough to eat solid food I just don’t know how to feed him it or if I should give him nestum still
