Best high interest savings account currently

Hello, I’m currently looking for the best high interest savings account with easy access and where I can deposit about £5000.

I currently use Chip but they are dropping their interest rates massively. I already have a Trading212 ISA as well.

Thanks

Want to step up my short-term investing knowledge

Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to the idea of day trading, so apologies if this is a bit basic. I’ve been investing for a little while now (2-3yrs) and feel fairly comfortable with the general principles - regular investing, diversification, not panicking over short-term movements, etc.

I’d now like to understand a bit more about day trading / more active trading. I’m not looking to jump in and start throwing money around, but I’d like to learn how people actually approach it properly, what to look out for, and how to make more informed decisions.

I come from a science/engineering background, so finance and trading aren’t really my natural comfort zone. I’m used to learning things quite methodically, so I’d rather start with decent resources and build up slowly instead of relying on random TikToks or hype posts.

Does anyone have any beginner-friendly recommendations for courses, YouTube channels, books, podcasts, or websites that are actually credible? I’d ideally like to spend the next couple of years learning properly and maybe get to a point where I feel comfortable taking small, calculated risks myself.

Thanks in advance!
