I’m 38 and currently jobless. I’m an engineering graduate and have experience working on automation-related projects.

Over the past few years, I’ve been trying to build my own path instead of returning to a conventional job.

Some things I’ve already built:

Chasedue — a completed web app for invoicing and WhatsApp payment reminders

Several Chrome extensions/plugins

Automation projects

Various small tools and experiments

The frustrating part is that I haven’t generated meaningful revenue from any of them — basically ₹0.

I’ve been studying the stories of SaaS founders and indie hackers who started with very little and eventually built profitable products. I’m particularly interested in understanding what they actually did, rather than just hearing motivational success stories.

I want to use Claude/AI as a serious career/business advisor and essentially reverse-engineer proven paths.

If you were in my position, what would you do over the next 12 months?

My goal is not to build the next billion-dollar startup. I want to reach something realistic like ₹40,000+/month consistently, then grow from there.

Would you:

Focus on improving and marketing Chasedue?

Build a completely new Micro-SaaS?

Replicate an existing successful SaaS model for a different niche/market?

Sell automation/AI services first and use that money to fund SaaS?

Take another approach entirely?

If you’ve actually built a profitable SaaS/Micro-SaaS, I’d especially appreciate hearing what you would do differently if you had to start again from zero at 38.

I’m looking for practical advice, including mistakes to avoid, customer acquisition, choosing a niche, pricing, and getting the first 10 paying customers.

I’m also trying to create a detailed prompt for Claude that can analyze successful SaaS businesses and help me develop a realistic step-by-step plan based on their strategies.

What would your roadmap be if you were starting from my situation today?

I’ve spent the last few years trying to build things independently. I’ve built automation projects, several Chrome extensions, and recently completed my own web application called Chasedue for invoicing and WhatsApp payment reminders.

But here’s the uncomfortable part:

I have made almost ₹0 from all of it.

I can build things, but I clearly haven’t figured out how to turn those skills into a sustainable income.

I also have a physical limitation that makes regular commuting and physically demanding work difficult, so I’m looking for something I can primarily do from home.

My immediate target isn't becoming rich or building a huge startup.

I need to reach around ₹40,000/month consistently.

I’m willing to start small — even ₹5K → ₹10K → ₹20K → ₹40K — but I need a realistic path because I’m already dealing with debt and money is becoming tight.

I'm considering things like:

- AI/automation services for Indian businesses

- Freelancing

- Building small SaaS/Micro-SaaS products

- Chrome extensions

- Digital products

- B2B services

- Lead generation

- Helping small businesses automate repetitive work

- Or even something completely unrelated to technology

I've also been studying how people who started successful SaaS businesses found their first customers and grew from there. I'm trying to learn from what actually worked for them rather than blindly building another product.

If you were in my position in India today, with technical skills but almost no income and very limited capital, what would you do to reach ₹40K/month?

I'd especially like to hear from people who have actually built income from freelancing, small businesses, SaaS, automation or online work in India.

What would you do for the first ₹10K, and then how would you scale that to ₹40K?

I'm looking for practical answers rather than motivational advice. Even if you think some of my existing ideas are bad, I'm happy to hear that.

The Karur meeting was originally planned for January 19, but Vijay came to Karur much earlier, on September 27, because Senthil Balaji had planned a much bigger meeting for the DMK.

Actually, Senthil Balaji and TVK had no major issues initially. But the BJP did, and that seems to have been the main reason for the change in date.

Suddenly, Vijay started speaking extensively about

Senthil Balaji and portraying him as a rival, almost like his rivalry with actor Ajith. He even sang a song to mock him.

After 41 people died, TVK continued to blame Senthil Balaji, and the BJP also followed the same narrative.

The very next day, a BJP committee came to Karur and claimed that Senthil Balaji was responsible for the stampede, even before the investigation had been completed.

When the CBI came to investigate the bus, it appeared that the recordings had been deleted. The CBI then asked the Chinese company to provide the footage, since it was reportedly stored automatically in the cloud.

Now, the Supreme Court has said that the case should be completed within three months. But it has been almost a year, and there still seems to be no significant progress in the case.

At this point, it feels like the case has almost been closed.
