Open-World Post apocalyptic Story Game!!

Me and a small team are currently finishing the final touches of a script for our very first Video game. It’s an emotional, story heavy, open world game set in a sci-fi world after a natural (or not really that natural) disaster.

While we already have a team of composers and world builders we are still looking for people that are open to help with one or more of the following:

- Mechanic Development
- Environment
- Animation
- Cutscenes
- UI Design

If you’re willing to contribute in any of those categories you are more than welcome to.

Please note that this whole thing is a NON PAID / HOBBY Project. Once the Game is finished there will be a REVENUE CUT though. If you are planning to use assets or designs you create for this project elsewhere afterwards, feel free to do so.
Also this project is being made in UNREAL ENGINE 5 so make sure your device is able to run it properly.

If you’re interested you can either write an email to: daggergamesstudios@gmail.com or DM me on discord (Username: wausar)

Thank you!!

Side Games?

Hey Redditors,

I’ve been playing a lot of story games recently and I am very happy to have switched from multiplayer to mainly single player story games.

But every now and then I feel like I should take a break and play something different for a bit.

Or when I’m in a VC and can’t pay full focus to cutscenes, I feel like a game where you don’t have to focus all the time would be awesome.

So, does anyone have suggestions for games to play side by side with story games? (I am totally fine with multiplayer/online games too)

Thank you!!

Cyberpunk 2077 or AC: Valhalla

Hey,

I have a very important decision to make and I can’t quite do it myself, that’s why I’m asking here for help.

I’ve recently spent over 270hours playing through the Witcher 3 and let me say this much, it was awesome!

Now im trying to decide on what to play next…

My candidates are:

- Cyberpunk 2077 (it’s a CDPR game that’s why I wanted to give it a shot)
- Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (listen I know the game is a terrible AC, however i enjoy Norse mythology and Ubisoft’s RPG elements which is why I’m considering it aswell)

I would really appreciate if yall could give opinions on either one or both or help me form a decision.

Thank you!!

Yep I’m scared of flying cause I don’t wanna crash… and yes. I know I’ll die anyway, I know it’s unlikely To happen but I’m still scared. And I don’t really know how not to be. Thanks!!

Emotional attachment and actual completion?

Hey Redditors, how are yall?

i am a huge fan of horizon and I’ve played it for a few hundred hours. In that time I spend most time just hunting random machines or running around. In that time I must’ve gotten very attached to aloy and the world

and now, when I try to play quests (especially main quests) again, it hurts a little, because my brain tells me, if I finish the game there is nothing new to do and to see and it’s over…

Have yall had similar experiences? And if so… what helped? Thank you all so much :)

Did any of you experience similar things? And is the ending worth it or is it really a goodbye?
