Just got my GT1 Evo setup and I’m currently waiting for the GT1 integrated monitor mount! My question is since the Sim-Lab universal shelf is not compatible with this setup, has anyone ran a PC shelf behind the monitor? I’ve seen some generic ones online but not sure if it’s compatible.
Looking to finally get a 4080 profile and wanted to hear people’s opinion on the Rigmetal frame and if anyone has one that is running RS50 and RS Pedals?My obvious reason for looking Rigmetal is the affordability because a rig, monitor stand, and Pc shelf puts me at under $800. I was also getting quotes from sellers on Alibaba, which was about $600 to $700 but my concern with that is I’m not 100% sure on quality until it comes in and I may have to wait a month for it to come in.
I was originally looking at the Trakracer TR80S and the Simlab GT1 but they are 1. Out of my budget and 2. I’m not a huge fan of the layout of pedal tray and extrusion pieces. Do you all have any recommendations of other brands to check out? How is Rigmetal?

Trying to see if I did this correctly, I currently have a RS50 and the wheel outputs 8NM. Under wheel force I marked it at 8NM and then under strength I moved the slider to “43 8NM” which means that the game matches the output of my wheel to make it feel 100% accurate to FFB of car meaning it’s 1:1 scaling? Or am I getting this wrong?
I was originally playing with the slider all the way down and I was always wondering why iRacing felt like I was using powered steering with every car but now I’m down a rabbit hole with for feedback settings and I think I have it right where it’s at right now.
I am the Pink car and I wanted opinions on the blue and green car. Seems like he moves over as the orange car comes back on track but it was way too much and caused me to DNF, watching multiple views it seems like he cuts over my line. Might be a racing incident with an idiot but what are your thoughts.
I was chatting with Logitech support and they were telling me to like uninstall and do a bunch of setting changes to try to get the throttle to show up and I’ve seen online that you can change the settings on it but for my system it’s not showing up?
I was doing a race yesterday and I received a drive-through being out of position for the formation lap and when I went to the pit to serve the drive-through it didn’t go away and then I went through the pit a second time and it also didn’t go away again? This is my first time getting a drive-through in the game so does it just stay on until you finish the race or is there a bug where it just wasn’t confirming that I served it?
Ended up snagging this on Fb marketplace yesterday for $50! Besides some of the misc manuals included and baseplates the sets below are what I’ve identified. I think the Grievous Starfighter and Venator are like 80% there but I can tell the V19 and Frigate are missing a lot of pieces. Having trouble finding out what bags go to what.

Maybe someone who is more tech savvy with Simhub can help me! Just recently got a flag box. That has basic gears and flags and spotter animations. And I wanted to add a custom animation for when I enter the pit as well as when I turn on a pit limiter and I was playing around with the effects and it looks like I was able to make a custom pit effect. However, when it overlays on the test, it’s over the gear. Is there a way that I can hide the gear when the pit animation turns on?
Just recently got my BST-1 installed on my sim rig and set everything up under the “shake it bass shakers” and testing each feature the shaker works perfect…..now onto my issue. When starting up ACC, LMU, or Iracing I am getting 0 feedback to the shaker. Am I missing a certain setting on Simhub or each game? Do I need to press “add device” to each game now that I have it set up? I even tried “allow steam overlays” on Iracing and it still isn’t working…
Edit: so Simhub is reading the telemetry on all 3 games when I gear shift, rev, etc, maybe I need to dial my settings some more to truly feel the effects but it seems it’s all working and configured just fine.
Just recently got a PC with SIM hub and I’m curious are Bass shakers worth it for a sim rig? Maybe this is just an excuse to justify the purchase, but I’m curious if this upgrade will be good. Any recommendations for kits?

I recently switched from PS5 to PC and I’ve never had this issue. The first picture shows both G hub being 900 and ACC being 900 and it’s way off to a one-to-one scale. I then doubled AC to 1800 and kept G hub at 900 and it still feels closer to one to one, but maybe not the best but I’m missing some other settings that I have to change? Someone told me by default ACC has a steering scale at 50% but for the life of me I can’t find that.
Using this wheel on PS5 I can turn the wheel and it’ll stay but now switching to PC no matter what direction the wheel goes it auto goes back to center. I started up Iracing and LMU and it’s still doing this? Is there a way to turn this off?
Just recently purchased a PC coming from PS5 to get more into sim racing and I wanted to know the best value to purchase Iracing. Currently Steam has it on sale for 5$ a month but I read online the if you buy it directly from the Iracing website they can include more stuff? Are there any deals running to get more tracks/cars through their website? Should I just buy on steam and transfer account?

Does anyone know a good and consistent way to sign up for Sprint races/Mini Enduro stuff that isn’t a championship league commitment? I don’t have the free time to just play whenever as I work and have a family but there’s some nights during the week where I would love to hop on a mini race with real people that isn’t an open lobby of unexperienced drivers and just have clean fun, but it seems like all of the services online are catered to locked in championships. Maybe this is more so of a rant but looking for suggestions so I don’t just play against the AI for races. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place? I play EST around 8pm.
Finally had a chance to fully upgrade my sim racing setup from a G29 and office chair to now the RS50 Wheel Base, RS Pedals, and GT Lite cockpit!
For anyone wanting to run this set up the main metal plate where you mount your wheel base to you’ll want to unscrew the four screws and move the plate up in order to properly mount the RS 50 to it. (The pedals and base come with mounting screws) As for the GT light, I really enjoy the seating position and set up being 6’4. I was debating spending 100 more to get the pro version that has the extra straps but after an hour of playing ACC and F125 I don’t think it’s necessary with the braking at the moment.
Speaking of braking, I love the 75 KG brake pedal. Everything just feels like you’re driving a real car on track. I don’t have a PC and everything is running on PS5. I wish LMU and Iracing was on PS5. (I know I need to cable manage)
Overall great mid tier sim setup that doesn’t break the bank, gives great immersion with 8NM and true force, and is compact for my home office.
Unfortunately these don’t have any reviews to see quality and pictures but what has been your experience with Choice sets on Ali? I want to take advantage of discounts for May 4 today.
