Confused if I should talk to my manager

Hi, recently joined for the first time and so far best work place I've been at the atmosphere and the team really makes me look forward to working here and helps the days go by quicker too.
But there always has to be one person that will ruin it all.
Got this person working with me and the way she bosses around made me feel like she's a high up manager but turns out she's the same level as me but been working for 3 years. Now, I understand I've got to be told how things work and I learn from my team members while we work but she me bosses around. One thing I find extremely disrespectful is that she talks to me without even calling me by my name or saying a simple 'hey' she just randomly starts saying something and I ignore it knowing she's talking to me until she says my name out.
Today, she asked me to fold the roll cage and put it in a separate place and leaves by saying ' it's common sense to do that' and storms off somewhere.
Now I just stood there and then she starts calling my name out from a level up, when I go she's like where were you, I needed you with me. To which I reply 'You could've told me to come with you instead of walking like that midway, it's common sense to do that' she knew what I did to which she replied I'm not your baby sitter, I tell her then don't act like one and don't treat me like a kid, I'm new here and still learning how things go you can't just expect me to know it all and leave by saying it's common sense.

Now I do wonder if I should bring this with my manager. I really want to because he's really understanding the only thing that scares me if they'll fire me for this especially when I'm so new and she's been more loyal.

Those who switched to android from iPhone, worth it? From installing 3rd party apps perspective mostly

I’m completely happy with my iPhone 15 pro but I wish it had easy third-party apps installing and torrenting
Is it worth dropping the cash on an Android just for these two features? I like IOS overall.

Where do you learn things from?

I've been curious as to where you go when you wanna learn something new? I'm in my mid 20s and I am learning about investing just now.
I do watch some videos and go through reddit comments and previous posts but it burns me out a lot as there's so much content all over the place.

Like today I had been researching on business ideas and gaps in the markets I could fullfil with my startup but ended up getting overstimulated. I try to control my use of AI and so after every search on something I wanna learn about, I put 'reddit' at the end of my search result but there's just soooo much to grasp 😭
What are your reliable sources?

How we do things differently compared to back when it was all new and competition may have been less

If I knew how I function, I'd have summed it better but I know that I want to be able to not think about money as I get older and being able to provide for my partner and have a family with no compromises.
I'm already 26 and failing behing but I am learning something new about myself and life.
I have a place where I store all my thoughts I come across and today I wrote about how people used to be a lot more creative and innovative with ideas and products.
I don't disrespect any current artists and admire the work you do but please bare with me.
Cars, gadgets, everything just felt like they had a bit more thought to it and a bit more attention to detail compared to things we get today.
It got me thinking what did they have that we don't? Or do we have too many distractions that they didn't?
I procrastinate a bit too much sometimes where if I come across something important, I would pin it or save it for later and wait for the right time where I imagine myself on my desk with a lot of tabs open so I can enhance my learning by I hardly grasp much when time does come for me to sit down and do it.
How did people used to do back in the days? How did their brains work? Would they isolate themselves?

I'm caught in a 'save later' mindset and I'm sick of it

I’m stuck in a cycle of hoarding information. If I come across something that I don't know much about but feel like I'll benefit from it, I save it or pin the tab on my browser and look for that specific time when I'm on my desk or by myself so I can fully invest myself in that article, or that video about investing. I have hoarded so much information over the years.

Now, It's not like I haven't consumed that info at all but if you were to ask me the last thing I went through that I had been trying to get through, I wouldn't have an answer and I really feel nauseous because it interrupts my plans to hangout with my friends and partner where I feel rushed to be done with socialising so I can just be by myself and go through my 'watch later' items.
When I do go through these things, my attention span is prolly rotted that I try to skim through it all and close the tab or video as if I'm done with the task but I wouldn't have grasped anything.
Does anyone here have any advice? It's something I've been struggling with for years now.

Switching from iPhone 15 Pro to Galaxy S25 Is it worth it for my specific needs?

Hey everyone,
I currently have an iPhone 15 Pro, a MacBook, an Apple Watch, and AirPods. I’m heavily considering selling the whole Apple setup to switch to the base Galaxy S25 snapdragon one but I also own a Windows PC for data migration etc.

Here is why I want to switch:

**Sideloading:** I love sideloading apps and trying out developer apps
**AI:** I dislike Apple Intelligence. If I have AI features, if I have to have AI in my phone which one is better? I know apple is refining a lot in the upcoming ios 27
**Keyboard:** I can't stand the stock iOS keyboard anymore. Its a well documented bug.
**Gaming:** I frequently stream PC games to my phone using Apollo/Moonlight.
**Portability:** I want a phone that is lighter, thin, and comfortable to hold.
Just curious if I should make the switch. I grew up with androids but have had an iPhone since 2020

How are you guys making your chicken taste good at home?

I don't think I've once made chicken at home that I liked tbh. Maybe once when I tried making it in a japanese curry.
I don't necessarily hate chicken because I like the ones I'd eat outdoors but haven't really figured out a way to make it taste good at home.
I have experimented with rice cooker meals and steel pan cooking too. Just looking for a way to cook it with minimal ingredients that makes it taste less chicken if that makes sense. I'm not too picky on breast and thighs and have experimented with both and have had no luck.

Update: Hi guys, sorry I had been offline.
I didn't expect to get so many good responses.

I really appreciate the time you guys put in letting me know what has worked best for you.
I'm gonna be trying each one especially the brine, never done it before.

Have a good rest of your day! :)

Replacing the valve cover gasket and vtc filter gasket leak on my 07 accord (Australia)

Hi guys, trying to fix some leaks on my accord. Amayama is a trustworthy source for oem parts. I was just wondering if I can get a rocker cover gasket from ali express or is it a hard no?
On amayama that part goes for $140 and on aliexpress it's $13 so it's quite a big difference.
Not too concerned about getting the OEM vtc filter gasket as it's not that expensive.

Thank you.

Is artemis any different from ios clients like moonlight and voidlink extreme?

Hi, I was just curious if artemis makes any difference compared to iOS alternatives. Currently have apollo and voidlink setup.
Apollo web page also says ios support coming soon so I’m wondering what that’ll change compared to current options we have for apple devices.

Do you find yourself playing more now that you have setup moonlight?

Hi, I’ve noticed that I enjoy and play more games when I have a moonlight setup than when my PC is plugged in on TV or monitor.

After coming back home, I plug my iPhone 15 Pro to my Gamesir X5 Lite, use wake on lan, play for 30 minutes or until I’m satisfied, and then call it a day. I also find myself not doom scrolling as much.

I’d love to hear about your setups and how your gaming habits have changed.

Did we win something or is it a scam?

Hi everyone, I was stopped outside Double Six Beach by a friendly guy who asked us about our experience. He gave us a hotel voucher and mentioned a potential prize. One of us won a ticket for a trip to Europe, a new iPhone, or an Apple Watch. He said we’re guaranteed a prize and that we just need to attend an anniversary event at his hotel for 60 minutes. The prize will be revealed at the end. Does this sound too good to be true? Should we go there tomorrow or save our time?

Thanks.

Took a screenshot soon as I experienced a stutter. Overall it’s VERY smooth but there would be a hiccup here and there.

Apollo and voidlink settup on my iPhone 15 pro

Hi everyone, do you use an Apple device with VoidLink? If so, do you keep your rendering mode to a metal or standard? I’ve tried multiple custom resolutions but can’t find a one that works on standard. It keeps shifting my display to the right. When I switch to Metal, it aligns it perfectly. Is it okay to keep running at Metal?
Curious to know what the difference in them really is because you get a warning before trying metal :/

Thanks for any insights

Bought a rice cooker couple days back to make full recipes in. Wondering if the coating has gone bad? I don’t wash the rice in the pot and only use plastic spoon to get food out

Apollo+Voidlink on my iPhone 15 pro streaming from PC

Hi guys, new here been learning more how streaming works and I have managed to make things ‘work’ also set up wake on lan :)

I’m just stuck and confused at 2 things.

1)Not sure how to have an immersive experience on my iPhone display without enabling ‘Metal’ rendering mode. Apparently standard isn’t really doing it for me as I often get black bars and cropped windows and games and I can only do so with metal but it makes things quite laggy and is experimental. I’m on Lan

2)I’m on lan yet I get slower speeds. I have done a speed test and it shows I’ve got plenty. I’m connected to the same wifi on my phone. Anything I have to configure?

Thank you :)

Was someone at toowong village today between 7-8:30 pm?

I was punched on the chest and got called racial slurs by a guy who I called to unlock my car because I got locked out over asking them to put the weather rubber seal back on which got removed during unlocking process
I’m trying to get some witnesses because I did see some people around but nobody intervened.
