I feel deeply connected to Neanderthal’s in a spiritual way

We all know the Neanderthal.. the cave man.. though they apparently weren’t cave dwellers really.

From the time I was a boy, I’ve felt deeply connected to these beings. I’ve wanted to know all there is to possibly know about their species and how they once lived. Their industrial processes (tanning, dying, crafting), religious, and more. But we simply don’t know much about them

I feel more deeply connected to them than a normal person. I dream about living in their world, as one of them, but the dream is always hazy and I can’t remember much of anything from that time period, but I knew I was there. I just can’t remember dreams like that, unless I get lucky. I also catch myself daydreaming about living life as a Neanderthal, in their small village. I think of going out to hunt in the harsh winter winds. I now yearn for that type of life, even though I’m living a modern sheltered life now. My mind yearns to live off of the land with a close tribe, but my body just isn’t there

I’m starting to think, maybe I was a Neanderthal in substantial past life of mine. I don’t know if that is a good thing, or a bad thing, but all I know is that I’m fascinated by them in a spiritual way. I’m not sure how to convey the feeling of spiritual-ness in words, but I feel something

Just bought this cool collectors item!

I wanted an earlier issue, so i settled on this. I almost bought a signed and graded issue 33, where michonne enacts her revenge. It was sold, which pissed me off.

I’m just excited to have Robert’s signature on a graded book. I don’t intend to sell anytime soon, but if I do, it’ll be decades from now.

Do paramedics prefer getting stupid calls over real emergencies?

Let my clarify. Let’s say this is a slow night, no emergencies for your dispatch office. You get a call about rectal bleeding, and come to find out, the guy just ate alot of beets and didn’t equate the two.

My big clarifying question is, is there higher pay on a real emergency where you have to rush someone in, or would you rather just deal with something like this because you get paid the same? Obviously you’re in the job to help or something similar, but hey…. I’d rather not deal with actual rectal bleeding and just be able to tell the dude his “bleeding” is coming from the fresh beets on the counter and that he will be fine, but I’d welcome to ride along anyway

ELI5 what is the difference between processed meat slices and real meat slices?

I know that processed meat is processed, but what exactly does that mean? How much change do meat scraps go through before you get something like deli turkey.

My mind can’t exactly wrap around how that stuff is made based on the little knowledge I have

Informational resources on caring for kittens/cats.

Hi, we just had to take in 3, 3 week old kittens. We have the proper equipment and google at our disposal, but I’d really like an informational book about how to properly raise a kitten into a cat. Things to look out for, things you have to do, recommendations, etc. I want a book that my Vet would recommend me if I had a vet

A new book that will fill my hunger for knowledge

I’ve found myself on google way too much. I’m very curious about pretty much everything. All facets of life and the world interest me.

I’ll get curious about a random topic and my adhd ass will sit there google searching for like 20 minutes straight trying to feed my curiosity. I just need a book I can open and start reading about a bunch of random shit. Not a fun fact book, I want comprehensive information. Maybe im just looking for an encyclopedia or a textbook, if I am, point me that way.

But if you’ve got anything concrete that will help satiate my curiosity of the world, please send it, or however many books my way

It’s a common thing that many European’s underestimate the size of the US, Do Americans overestimate how big European countries are?

Do any of you ever do this? Thinking it would take a day to get across let’s say Germany, when in reality you can go from Berlin to Moscow in a day’s drive if everything runs well. I’m just curious

I just got an snes that appears to be in perfect condition for free. It has all of the chords and a controller.

The thing is, it’s been in my co workers shed for 10-15 years. It looks to be in great condition with no yellowing. What common damage could I look for on this machine that I may have overlooked, or what parts of the machine should I look at to make sure it’s functional and clean before plugging in?

Im looking for more shows where Clancy brown plays one of the main characters. Not a smaller role, I want him to either be the main character, or he’s important and is on screen a lot

This is all i want! Clancy brown. My request is that the show be “quality” and not absolute horse crap. If Clancy has more lead roles in movies, please direct me to the movie request sub

I was always the support. I’d be throwing balls to all of the good players to make sure they were stocked up. There were all sorts of people in dodgeball. There was the kids who always stood in the back chatting or scared to get hit, there were the athletes who could smoke you from across the gym, normal people, support, and you always had people who would team up with each other.

British English and American English are functionally the same language, but they are different. There are different spellings, and a different terminology for certain things. I feel like this is the same for SAE. I notice these differences in the way they speak. They use different terminology, and some places have truly started to invent their own language by making up their own words for their local dialect.

He’s a good fellow made out of scrap pizza dough and sharpie for coloring. You’ve seen him now, you shall see him again. I am not finished with dough-men. You will witness another creation soon!

I’ve got too much time on my hands at work
