Looking for an affordable residential options ( 1/2 bhk ) in or anywhere near/between Embassy TechSquare ( Kadubeesanahalli ) and EGL ( Domlur ) under 15-20K

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a rental property primarily for my office commute. I need to travel to Domlur or Kadubeesanahalli around 2–3 days a week, so I’m looking for a residential area from where either location is easily accessible.

I’m new to these areas, so I’d really appreciate your suggestions for affordable, peaceful localities where rents aren’t too high and daily necessities are easily accessible.

My requirements:

  • 🏠 1 or 2 BHK — Spacious, Fully/Semi-furnished
  • 💰 Budget: ₹15–20K (for a spacious 2BHK, I can stretch up to ₹25K)
  • 📍 Location: Easy commute to either Domlur or Kadubeesanahalli, preferably with less traffic
  • 🌿 Locality: Peaceful and safe, with easy access to daily needs, hospitals, gyms, parks, malls, etc.
  • 📅 Move-in: Mid to end of October

If you have a vacant flat or know of any good areas/properties that fit these requirements, please feel free to reach out. It would be helpful if you could share the location, rent, deposit, furnishing details, and any other relevant information.

Thanks in advance! 😊

Looking for a good, reliable PG in or near Koramangala or near Domlur/Indiranagar, Any leads or recommendations?

Hey everyone,

I am moving to Bengaluru soon and looking for a good PG accommodation in or very close to Koramangala or near Domlur/Indiranagar. My workplace is located in these areas and I can visit any one of these, so a short commute is a huge plus.

Here are a few details of what I am looking for:

  • Area: Good co-living area around without toxic neighborhood
  • Budget: Around ₹12-15k per month, which one area would be under my budget.
  • Sharing: Single room / 2-sharing.
  • Must-haves: Good Wi-Fi, 3 meals a day, power backup, cleaning and laundry access.

If you have stayed in a great PG around these areas, or know of any trusted, reliable co-living spaces that are well-maintained, please drop their names below!

Also, are there any specific streets or PGs in this area that I should absolutely avoid due to water issues, bad food, or strict landlords?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Need Suggestion for Product Based Companies as I got most of the recruiter calls from SBCs for Frontend Dev role, which gets hold at final stage all the time.

I've been actively interviewing for Frontend (React) roles and wanted to understand the current hiring landscape for product-based companies.

Most of my interview opportunities have been with service-based companies, but many of those processes have ended up being put on hold after the final rounds while waiting for client feedback or client interview slots. With my notice period ending next week, I'm trying to shift my focus toward companies with more direct hiring processes. Although hadn't getting much calls from PBCs, bad luck although.

For those who've recently switched or are working in product-based companies:

  • Which companies are currently hiring React Frontend Developers?
  • Which companies have had a good and transparent interview process in your experience?
  • Are there any platforms or communities you've found particularly useful for discovering product-based openings?

I'm mainly looking for guidance on where to focus my applications and to learn from others' recent experiences. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Job Search Has Been Much Harder Than Expected. Need Some Perspective or Solid contact.

I'm a Software Engineer (Frontend) with 6 year of total experience, I've trying to find a job for 3 months now and unable to get any due to various reasons.

My current thought is to keep applying while spending time on fundamentals, system design, architecture and common libraries/frameworks. Basically, keep improving and trust that eventually something will click.

One thing I'm also wondering about is whether I need to change my mindset.

Should I stop overthinking the market and just focus on preparation?
Should I start learning AI tech stack or backend and try to switch?

For people who have gone through this, please share your insight

And, the people who thinks can help me with solid referral, please help me !

Is it illegal to work as a freelancer while you're a full-time employee with a company? A fintech had rejected me for this only.

For context: I've been worked for a client for quite a few months in my past and they used to file the TDS for my payout as well. Which is also reflecting in my Tax documents.

So, I've been interviewing with a service based company and completed all the technical rounds. After that, they've started the BGV and used to share my details to the client as well. When the client checked my past freelance payment tax history, they rejected it by saying: it's considered as dual-employment. I mean wtf ?

Why can't a full-time employee can work as freelancer for a side income and his personal skill growth?

Is it illegal in Indian Corporate World? Have anyone of you experienced the same ?

My WP POSTS and PAGES options are redirecting to Dashboard Menu instead of their respected option

Hello Peeps,
I'm having issue with my WP Dashboard and it's happened many times in past and also gets fixed automatically,

The thing is, after logging in WP Admin are, when I try to open Posts and Pages options, it's redirect to the default Dashboard screen instead of displaying the screen where all Posts are there and I can modify it and same thing is happening with Pages option.

In simple words, check below URL:

"https://www.xyz.com/wp-admin/edit.php" redirects to "https://www.xyz.com/wp-admin/"

I just wanted to know the reason behind it, I've tried flushing cache/permalinks, deactivating plugins/themes etc but couldn't found the solution.

Have anyone of you faced this? if yes, how did you resolved.

Really greatfull for any insight.

How did few people out there gets hike around 50-100% where few recruiters even gets succumbed at asking hike more than 30%?

Hi everyone,

I've been wondering about compensation negotiations during hiring and wanted to hear from people who've been on both sides of the table.

In most of my interview processes, recruiters ask for my Current CTC (CCTC) and Expected CTC (ECTC) very early on. The discussion then seems to revolve around those numbers, and the final offer is usually somewhere around my expectation.

However, I've also seen people getting 50%, 80%, or even 100% hikes while switching jobs, which makes me wonder:

  • Is current salary genuinely a major factor, or is it mostly used as a negotiation anchor?
  • How do candidates discover the real market value of a role before sharing their ECTC?
  • What reasons one can give to recruiters that why he/she wants this much hike?
  • What negotiation tactics have worked well for you when discussing compensation?

A few specific things I'd love to learn from experienced folks:

  • How do you answer "What's your expected CTC?" without pricing yourself too low?
  • At what stage do you usually start negotiating—during recruiter screening, after interviews, or only after receiving an offer?
  • For people who've managed 50%+ hikes, what made it possible? Multiple offers, niche skills, being underpaid, strong interview performance, or something else?
  • Are there any common mistakes candidates make that hurt their negotiating position?

Would appreciate any real-world experiences, success stories, failures, and practical tips. Especially interested in hearing from hiring managers, recruiters, and people who've switched jobs recently.

Lost 4 job offers in a well established companies due to no EPF is current organization, this loop is traumatizing me

I started interviewing since last month and 4 mnc for FE Dev position. Cleared their coding round and technical interview but they all backed out knowing about my PF history. Why did they even interview if they weren't okay for this during screening, HR sounds familiar as they say it can be manageable using bank statement and Form16 but when it comes to final managerial or HR round, they reject it. Why every company is chasing it even though they also knows it's not a big deal at all.

Is it a crime to work under a startup or a organization where EPF contribution is not a part of their CTC due to any reason ?

This is really frustrating.

Connect with Fellow Maithilians and plan your meetups, outing etc

The idea is specifically for people from Milthila regions around Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Saharsa and nearby areas who

  • Have demanding jobs and can't commit to plans weeks in advance.
  • Wants to celebrate our festival or big day together as we used to celebrate at our home.
  • Anyone wants to become friendly and built a relationship together that goes beyond the other way than these day's stuffs.
  • Wants to invite someone from our community on a special occasion.
  • Enjoy conversations, meeting new people, and expanding their social circle without judgment or unnecessary expectations.

This is not an activity-based community. The purpose is much simpler.

The ideal meetup I imagine is meeting at some place like a café or any regional place, talking for an hour or two, and then heading back to their lives because they have work to finish, deadlines to meet or families to get back to.

Few of us can also celebrate our festival together and create beautiful memories while living away from home.

This is only an idea at the moment. If you've anything more to add, feel free to comment or DM me.
