1. Generating speech with the default voice works reasonably well.
2. However, when I create a custom voice from an audio sample longer than 30 seconds and start speech generation, my entire computer starts freezing. It gets progressively slower until even the mouse cursor becomes unresponsive.

Is there any way to reserve enough system resources for the OS to remain responsive while generating speech? I'd like to prevent the entire computer from freezing during generation.

Today i received nuphy Air75 V3 with Blush Nano switches and I’m already having a double/multiple typing issue.

So far I’ve noticed it mostly on F, W, comma and L

I actually really like this keyboard, it looks great, it’s extremely quiet and comfortable to type on, so I definitely want to keep it.

I just hope the rest of the switches won’t start developing the same issue after the warranty expires.

I honestly don’t really get the whole idea behind the OpenCode UI.

For me, the best workflow is still VS Code + Codex. You have the terminal right there, Git/GitHub integration, the file tree, diffs, changed files, basically everything you need to understand what the agent is actually doing.

With OpenCode, I constantly feel like something is missing or hidden from me. Even basic desktop UX feels awkward on Windows - for example, moving the window around can be annoying because there’s barely any obvious area to grab with the mouse especially when tabs are taking up most of the top UI.

Maybe I’m just using it wrong, but compared to working with Codex inside VS Code, OpenCode feels unnecessarily limiting.

What do you guys think about OpenCode and its UI? Do you actually prefer it over a normal IDE + AI agent workflow?

The PC would stay in one room, but I'd like to use it normally from either room with a TV/monitor and peripherals, including gaming.

I'm looking for a pair of good desktop speakers that are:

• no more than around 17 cm (6.7") wide each.
• My desk is 140 cm wide, and I have a 42" OLED in the middle, so there isn't much space left on either side of the screen.

They need to sound great in a near-field setup, since I'll be sitting fairly close to them.

I'm currently considering the PSB Alpha P5 and Triangle Borea BR02. Which would you choose for this kind of setup? I'm also open to other recommendations in a similar size.

For reference, I currently own ELAC Debut Reference DBR62s and absolutely love their sound signature

I’m asking because I had a roughly six-month episode like this in 2022 before I finally managed to quiet my mind. Ever since then, I’ve been left with persistent anhedonia (I feel emotions and the effects of substances much (much!) less intensely than before), a strange discomfort in my head, and difficulty feeling fully relaxed. It feels like my nervous system never fully recovered from that obsessive state.

I started building a project using VS Code + Codex (ChatGPT Plus), but I ran out of tokens and buying more is quite expensive, especially since my app doesn't make any money.

I had a good experience with OpenAI GPT-5.6 Sol. I also tested Google Antigravity, but the tokens ran out very quickly there.

Can I realistically continue working on my project using a local model in LM Studio Bionic? If so, which models or coding agents would you recommend for these two PCs?

On paper that sounds great, but I'm wondering if those improvements are actually noticeable in real-world use or mostly marketing.

On the other hand, I have an LG C2 42" OLED that I've been using since 2022, and it's still working perfectly with no issues. I'm also very happy with it.
That makes me question whether it's really worth paying extra just for the newer Tandem WOLED panel.
