Hit all the trials leading to dirt Mullholand (from Reseda) today. I’m planning to do Santa Paula punch bowls and I read it’s super hard. Am I ready? I also saw a cool snake

I, sometimes, tend to over prepare for shit. This hike yesterday was hard when going up hill but omg I’ve gotten so much better.

I’ve also done the long hike to palisades a couple of times too. That’s like 12+ miles each time. I go up and down the big hills from Sullivan Fire road to the canyon to Mandeville.

The snake seemed to be trying to go deeper into that hole but it probably hit a dead end or smth lol. It didn’t even notice I was there.

Also, why is the buttkicker trail so relentless!!!?? The other two that are not caballero canyon too.

It’s right across the Caballero Canyon and Dirt Mullholad intersection. Where there’s bench.

Space song in the wild

This short film is called ENIGMA. Its creator is the director of the new record-breaking horror film Obsession. Turns out he’s a YouTuber who’s been putting out bangers back to back for years, and this is another one of them.

Out of nowhere, Space Song starts playing in the background during the emotional climax of the film. It brought so much joy to my heart. This song is so beautiful I can’t believe it.

Btw, if ur a fan of BH and Current Joys, this guy is blessing us in his films. Kids and Televisions in Obsession and now Space Song in Enigma.

I bought a pair of Merrell for their yearly sale. I wore them for the first time yesterday but they destroyed my toes and the side of my big toe. They’re dirty but I’m cleaning them hoping I can return them

Nails were trimmed. I was wearing cotton socks, and I just learned that’s not a good idea. But regardless, I’ve done the hike I did yesterday with different shoes and same socks, but my feet weren’t hurting that much. Going down hill was the most painful thing that’s ever happened to me in a hike. They might be too tight. I’ve heard that they’ll stretch over time and that I should be patients but like I said, my other shoes didn’t cause me so much discomfort, not even in day one.
