Eu não consigo mais me sociabilizar em Fortaleza depois dos meus dois burnouts. Eu nem sabia que fazia masking e, aparentemente, desde então eu não consigo mais. E aqui toda interação social é exaustiva para mim pq eu não entendo o que as pessoas dizem (para mim, nem elas), e elas entendem o que eu não disse. Mesmo que eu verbalize a mesma coisa, tentando minuciosamente me fazer ser entendido, as pessoas entendem outra. Algum neurodivergente aqui? Alguém sabe se tem um grupo ou algo assim em Fortaleza para neurodivergentes? Eu apenas preciso ver se o problema de comunicação é meu ou da lógica das interações.

Ser neurodivergente faz muito sentido para mim. E é um alívio para mim essa informação. Dá nome a muita coisa que eu não sabia explicar antes. Ao mesmo tempo, eu não tenho referência para ver.

O diagnóstico muda minha visão de personalidade. Sei lá. Quero conhecer outros neurodivergentes aqui em Fortaleza.

so I made this mashup and honestly I'm not even sure "mashup" is the right word anymore — it kind of morphed into its own track.

The combo: STELLAR's "Crying" vocals over the "Did It First" instrumental, but I also messed with the pitch on the original vocal and dropped it into a more masculine register. The result doesn't really sound like either source anymore, at least not on first listen.

Genuinely curious what this sounds like to fresh ears — don't go in expecting an obvious mashup where you can immediately clock both songs. Go in like it's just... a new track, and tell me what you hear. Does it land as its own thing, or can you still pick apart the pieces once you know what's in it?

Quick exercise for you all because I think the answers are going to be all over the place in the best way.

For each of the 5 Spice Girls, pick one solo song — just one — that you feel best represents your idea/concept of her as an artist and person today. Not necessarily your favorite song of hers, not necessarily her biggest hit. The one that, if someone asked "who is this Spice Girl to you right now," you'd hand them this track as the answer.

I'm genuinely curious how different everyone's picks are going to be, because I think this says a lot about how differently we each connect with the five of them individually — some people probably associate a Girl with a totally different era or sound than others do.

Okay this might get long but I promise it's worth it if you're into thinking about this stuff.

As a kid my ranking was: Geri (1st, felt like the boldest, most transgressive, and honestly the prettiest to me), Emma (2nd, pretty and second best singer, no deeper analysis than that), Mel B (3rd, especially after that Missy Elliott feature made her solo career feel so promising), Mel C (4th, always "sporty," felt off whenever she was styled differently), and Victoria dead last at 5th — I couldn't even pick her voice out of the songs, she just felt like a background vocal to me, and "Posh" read as snobby and superficial.

Now, as an adult? My list is almost completely inverted.

Victoria is my #1 by far. Her deadpan humor is incredible, and out of all five solo careers, hers is the one I listen to the most — she only has one official album but the amount of unreleased material is huge, and she went into hip hop, disco, dance. It's such a shame it never reached a wider audience.

Mel C is #2. She's the only one of the five with an actual sustained artistic career imo — she basically inherited Geri's old "transgressive personality" role, reinvented her look and sound across eras, and has aged incredibly gracefully.

Geri gives me none of the Girl Power energy she used to. She feels like a completely different, more traditional and reserved person now.

Emma is the most consistent of all of them — still gives the same vibe as back then, and like Mel C, she's one of the only two who stayed a singer (Victoria became a designer, Geri went full family-woman).

And Mel B... I genuinely can't get into her music today. She feels more like a full-time entertainer/TV personality at this point than a singer.

The wildest part to me is that my two favorites now are literally my bottom two from childhood, and the one I couldn't even pick out vocally back then ended up being the solo artist I listen to most.

Obviously I still love all 5. Just curious — did anyone else go through this kind of total reshuffle in how they see the girls, comparing childhood impressions to now? Would love to hear other people's "then vs now" rankings.
