When do baby’s start sleeping better 😩

Baby is 6.5 months old now and for about 3-4 weeks just is not sleeping unless my hand is on him. Before this he was in his crib with only 1 wake in the night. And now he wakes up twice to eat, sometimes a third time just cause he realizes I’m not there. But the past 2 nights at his 3am feed, he won’t go back to sleep unless it’s in my bed. I’m about ready to buy a mini crib cause I really do not want him to think cosleeping is the answer lol. He’s the happiest baby during the day. I just wish nights were smooth again 😩

What can I do to help me feel pretty again

I’m almost 7 months PP and want to feel like myself again! 😩 I’m a SAHM and it’s honestly really hit or miss if baby and I sleep well, and I think sleep deprivation is really taking a toll on my skin. I drink about 3 liters of water per day plus a cup of coffee. And I try and eat healthy but I look in the mirror and I just look so blah. My hair is long but it’s always in a messy bun or a braid, I’m tempted to cut it to my collar bones to see if that helps me look refreshed. I also never wear makeup anymore because if I leave the house it’s mostly just to the grocery store. But I’m also tempted to start getting lash extensions just for something. I’m trying to get back in the routine of working out, unfortunately it’s over 100° now so stroller walks are out the window. I told my husband I don’t like how I look and he replied ‘you just look like a mom’. Like what does that even mean? It didn’t make me feel any better lmao.
Any tips, tricks or advice is appreciated!!

Sleep question

If you didn’t teach your baby to fall asleep independently, how long did it take them to learn to connect sleep cycles by themselves?

6 month old losing it at bedtime

The past week or so it has been a nightmare putting baby to sleep😭😭😭 he was going to sleep independently about a month ago and then he started rolling as soon as I would put him to bed and it was freaking himself out. So I went back to rocking him to sleep for a couple of weeks which was working out fine. But now even after I rock him to sleep, as soon as he feels me setting him in his crib he pops awake and screams. I try drowsy/awake and it’s even worse. He doesn’t even try and self sooth anymore except has his pacifier in his mouth. I don’t know what to do?? I even made sure he got solid naps today to see if it would make bedtime easier. As soon as I pick him up he falls asleep in my arms but it takes me soothing him on and off for like an hour before he finally sleeps. Last night he woke up screaming around 11 so I just brought him to bed and he slept through the night. Is anyone else going through this?? I need help😭

6 month sleep regression please help 😭

Does it ever end? This is way worse than the 4 month regression. Literally every night I wonder why people do this more than once. Baby knows how to fall asleep independently but won’t anymore. I give him 3-5 minutes to try and figure it out but have to end up rocking/bouncing him to sleep and it takes so long for me to be able to set him down without him immediately waking up screaming. Then he’s awake screaming every couple hours and just won’t settle until I end up cosleeping so I can get sleep. Am I missing something that needs to be done to make this easier??? His last nap of the day is iffy which I’m sure does not help his nights. But I seriously don’t understand why we’re doing this every single night.

6 month old is officially in separation anxiety stage. Help!

My baby turned 6 months old on the 11th and he officially has started screaming all hours of the day if I set him down and walk away. At 5 months, I got him to fall asleep independently and it was going great. For about 2 weeks, and then he became a spring board when I laid him in his crib and he would start crying cause he was stuck on his tummy. Now, he doesn’t immediately roll to his tummy but he starts screaming as soon as I lay him in the crib, awake, drowsy/awake and asleep. I don’t think I have the heart to let him CIO completely. But tonight I did let him cry for a good while to wear himself out. I finally got him to sleep but I’m sure it’s gonna be a rough night for the both of us. How do I reintroduce getting him to fall asleep independently? What sleep training technique will work the best without full on CIO?

Need advice- rolling baby and 3am wake up

Baby will be 6 months on the 11th. A few weeks ago I taught my baby to fall asleep independently and it worked wonders and made naps and bedtime so nice after the 4 month sleep regression. Now, for about a week, he started rolling as soon as I put him down awake/drowsy but awake and he won’t even try and shut his eyes. He doesn’t know how to roll tummy to back. So I’ve resorted back to nursing to sleep. Has anyone else gone through this? It I leave him on his tummy will he eventually fall asleep? I feel horrible leaving him like that when he’s crying and staring at the door waiting to be put back on his back lol.

Another thing that just started! Is he started waking up at 3am to eat, but wants to stay awake for at least an hour! I will finally get him back down around 4 until 7 ish. What do I do? He’s been on 3 naps per day anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Wake windows are normally 2/2/2-2.5/2-2.5 kind of depending on the day. He normally goes to bed between 7-7:30

Should I dream feed around ten, in hopes he’ll sleep through the 3am feed? Does he need a schedule change or stricter schedule?
Please help!!!

5.5 month old sleeping on stomach

The past week, every time I put my baby down to sleep ‘drowsy but awake’ he just goes right into tummy time and looks around the room until I save him lol. BUT TONIGHT!! He’s rolling onto his tummy to sleep. I’ve rolled him back like 3 times, and I just woke up to look at the monitor and he’s back on his tummy again 😩😩 it is stressing me out. Do I just leave him?? He doesn’t know how to roll tummy to back yet!

Bed time

Does anyone else get anxious AF when bed time comes? I’m going to my doctor on Tuesday for my anxiety but I feel like since baby’s sleep regression, it’s been so hit or miss if he’ll sleep good that every night I start having anxiety wondering if I’m going to sleep good tonight 😭 he’s almost 6 months old and he used to be a generally good sleeper and now like every other night he wakes up so much. My anxiety is so bad over it and I feel so bad for my husband, but also I feel like he just doesn’t fully understand!😩

Lexapro or Zoloft while breastfeeding?

I’ve heard great things about both. I’m 5 months PP and know I’ve struggled with PPA for a good bit of it. But since starting my period back I just feel like I’m losing it somedays. I have a doctors appointment next week to talk about getting on something. I have been exclusively breastfeeding though. Am I still able to breastfeed while being on meds? Any encouragement is helpful!

So tired today

Just venting because WTF 🥴 baby is just about 5 months. He had a little bit of a sleep regression a few weeks ago but honestly not as terrible as some story’s I’ve heard. Up until last night he woke up screaming at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 and it took forever to get him back to sleep which is very abnormal for him. Then 11:30 rolls around and he wakes up but isn’t screaming so I’m just kind of laying there watching him and he lets out the BIGGEST fart and then goes back to sleep until 5. So he just had a terrible tummy ache I guess?? Poor thing but man that first half of the night shot my anxiety up so high thinking I wasn’t going to sleep

Does anyone have advice on getting baby to sleep (mostly naps) without nursing to sleep? I googled it and legendary milk has an article on why it’s so natural for babies to nurse to sleep so it really made me feel better. But! It would be nice to get out of the habit sometimes so my husband can get baby down for a nap. It hasn’t always been this way, baby is almost 5 months now, but since I started doing it, a couple weeks ago when we were in a sleep regression, it’s made my day so much smoother lol. Do I even try and change it? If so, what should we do instead?
If we’re out somewhere, I can sway him back and forth and he’ll fall asleep so quickly! I’m not sure why he doesn’t want to do that at home though lol

Question for parents who have moved their baby to the nursery and crib!
My baby is 5 months old now and still in the bedroom. He wakes up around midnight to eat and then again around 4:30-5. Recently will wake up a couple times more stirring around because of the sleep regression.
My mom asked when we’re going to move him into his crib. It just doesn’t make sense to me when he still needs to eat overnight? Like why would I wake up and walk across the house when I could just have him stay in my bedroom?
But maybe I’m missing something. What’s it really like once you move your baby to the nursery?
