For about a year now, I’ve noticed that if I look all the way up to the sky or ceiling, and rotate my head left or right (chin guiding the turn), I get this weird deep rub/grind at the base of my skull or spine (maybe C0-C3?).

It feels like if you were to make a fist and rub your knuckles left and right against each other. If I use two fingers and push down on the neck and try to replicate that sensation, it doesn’t happen.

I want to know if anyone else has experienced this before?

Just as the title says. I’m looking for feedback from those of you who have used either location, and how your experience was and how you liked the end result of your SMP.

I’ve spoken with Bosco at the SJ location in the past, and he seemed like a very nice individual, and hope to hear that the experience is still the same today.

I haven’t owned a radar detector in maybe 15 years and want to get back into it. My last unit was a Valentine V1 but it was an older gen. I’m not up to speed but would like to catch up to then times. What are my fellow Californians running nowadays? Please and thank you 🍻

MCM has sent me a “pre-legal” letter for a PayPal Credit account that I voluntarily closed due to non-payment. I wasn’t able to afford it any longer, after my dad passed away and my savings was pretty much depleted after paying for the funeral costs.  I’m on single household income via Social Security Disability, have a wife and 2 children, and own a home here in California.

MCM purchased the debt in 2024 which was closed out for $3100.00 from Synchrony Bank. I never communicated with MCM, answered their calls, responded in any sort of way, or even checked their website for my account status. 

I’ve only done research here so far and on the FICO Forums website in regards to this situation. A lot of people here have stated to go straight into arbitration once you receive your trial date, (my original PayPal Credit T&A’s has it in it’s language [AAA]). Others have said to call and work out a payment plan, but when that happens, MCM doesn’t want to accept anything lower than 70-80% of the total debt, and others have said arbitration will work 100% against me.

Looking to hear shared experiences from REAL MCM defendants and even Plaintiff’s (if you’re here) and how your situation worked out. Thanks!

I’ve owned my home for the last 10 years, and this was the first time I experienced this noise. It first happened this morning when the AC kicked on, and I heard what sounded like car bass/subwoofers in my walls where the ac unit actually sits opposite outside in the backyard.

My wife and kids thought it was a car passing by playing loud music, but I heard it very distinctively. It was a deep type bass noise, and off beat. This occurred in the morning around 9:30 am. The AC ran all day just fine, without making more noises. Then around 10:15 pm tonight it happened again randomly, and again lasting for about 5-7 seconds just like in the morning. The unit’s pad looks fine, no changes to the piping, piping wrap is still intact and good. I couldn’t find any loose bolts.

I’m inclined in auto repair, not HVAC, so hoping for guidance on what could possibly be causing this? On a vehicle, engine mounts and bearings cause intermittent issues like this that have deep bass type noises..

I’m looking to do a project with my kids and would like to use yellow pine or the equivalent. I’ve been to Home Depot and Lowe’s but the pickings are not great. It seems that after COVID, lumber variety at the big box stores have dropped in terms of quality.

Do any insiders know if this will affect those that work in Building Inspections? Asking for preparation just in case it happens..

I have some panels that are bare metal. I have UPOL 2253, and want to know if I can mix it as a primer sealer and spray it on the bare metal, as the primer is listed as a DTM product.
