Had to take my almost 90 year old mom to a medical appointment, as at her age she does need assistance. My mom calls me "her eldest" which is fine because she isn't as sharp as she used to be, and my younger sibling died back in January. However, actual medical staff using the term "sir" for our interactions, stirred a fierce countenance of something something potentiial fellonny (sic, censorbots). This is the same hospital network which NY Attorney General Letitia James had to threaten with legal action for abandoning and selling out their trans patients receiving care. But they pretend like they are allies.

Rather than act upon the situation such as it was, I just endured. ...walking my mom home softened the unpleasentness of it all, but my arteries are still hardened from that one. Glad I left my wallet at home, or I might have stopped at the liquor store, which one should never do while angry (and that I need to avoid all-together since my 💊+🍸= bad idea).

They could have just not said it tho' 😮‍💨

Got called sir by someone todat, but Japan Villiage in Industry City always has a decently higher than amount of 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️, and after some hellos outside st marks comics, claw machine action, and boba tea, it turned into a nice afternoon. Felt great.

My 9 yr old nephew lost his Pomni stuffie either just outside or in Carroll St station, on the Ciney Island bound side (2nd Pl entrance). If anyone has found it he fould love to get it back.

Saw this while I was out and was like, "ok mine!"

A tired and disheveled me after spending all day at Brooklyn Kaiju, at Industry City in Brooklyn. But at least I got my Godzilla fix in. Not enough Gamera tho'

It's annoying that my medication makes my hands shake and taking an in-focus selfie is challenging at the best of times.

At Brooklyn Kaiju, there was a Hedorah Miku in the cosplay contest. For the non Godzilla fans, Hedorah is the Smog Monster from Godzilla vs Hedorah, 1971. Unfortunately this was the only photo I could get.

So I saw a place near me had Goan cuisine from a 7 Michelin-starred chef (seven!). Had to try it. Staff was so nice, used all the right words, no bad parts. I think I am gonna stop worrying about getting treated poorly at resturants because after a few years it still hasn't happened yet. And yeah, a few bits did end up falling into the valley of the boobah (or crumb catcher I am told it's called)😅. Behold my vindaloo adventure where I was out while 🏳️‍⚧️ and nobody cared because this is NYC i guess.
