Poached chicken left out in covered saucepan for 11 hours

Poached chicken left out all night (11hours)

Last night I poached 6 chicken thigh fillets in chicken stock ( knorr stock pot) we ate two.

I left it to cool in the covered saucepan and promptly forgot about it.

It’s been out for 11 hours. Husband says it was covered so nothing could get in it to cause problems.

If microwave it would it kill any nastiness that might be lurking?

Frost Damage on Potatoes?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can tell me what has happened to my poor potato plants.

I’m based in Kent in the UK and this week we had a couple of very cold nights, but no frost that I’m aware of. However, I’m wondering if the cold weather might have harmed these plants.

The ones in the grow bags on my patio are fine and actually are thriving.

If this is frost damage, can they recover? It? Looks like a few other people on the allotment site have similar issues with their potatoes but I haven’t seen anyone to talk to them about it yet.

Thanks for any help or advice. 🙂

Hi everyone, this beauty appeared on my back door today.

Hi everyone, first of all a huge thank you to those who made me feel so much better and gave excellent advice when I was bleeding profusely in a hotel full of everything white.

I have a question - I am not seeking medical advice- I’m just curious as to others experiences.

I’m 55

I have never been pregnant

I had non invasive breast cancer 2 years ago and am now in the clear

I have a fibroid ( can’t remember measurements but grapefruit size)

Also suffering from anaemia

At my age is it likely they’ll suggest a hysterectomy? I am a bit worried about that option.

I’m unclear about medication that is offered for fibroids but I think because I had breast cancer I need to steer clear of hormones.

Anyway I haven’t actually managed to see anyone yet - I’m on the list but my mind is constantly going through what may or may not happen.

Thank you for reading 🙂
