Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot

Set out to make this Champion hoodie bigger by reusing old Thrasher hoodies that I happen to have. Now it fits ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ inspired by Brands like Protocol Index

Cut a pattern, sewed some zippers, added grommets & a drawstring. It's good to go ✌️

The screenprinting was done after the fact to spice things up a bit.

Basically just throwing spaghetti at the walls and seeing what sticks

Took some canvas workwear overalls and added them to a matching hoodie giving it a massive pouch pocket with additional smaller pockets, flexibility & detachability by utilizing snap buttons, & a renewed industrial aesthetic.

I still haven't really mastered the shape of a straight line (best i can do is wobbly) but decided to try my hand at animals and animal adjacent shapes including a snake and a cobweb. Both started strong but confidence is the death blow to technique and as such, combined with my fleeting patience, both resulted in something resembling their intended shape but just a wee bit off. Good experience, will try again.

Layers of navy cotton, twill, & denim, heavily over-sewn & then distressed with touches of yellow & hand sewn embroidery throughout. Van Gough's 'Starry Night' was a loose inspiration on this one. My fingertips are thicker than leather now. Hope you like it! Take care be well 🙏

Less of a 'battle jacket' and more of a 'war torn jacket'. Found it in a grandparents garage, so not really a 'hand-me-down' and more of a 'helped-myself-and-assumed-ownership' but felt that was too clunky for the title. Had massive holes but using old denim and some canvas patches I managed to plug up all the ones that were posing a threat to its wearability. Hope you like ✌️

Took a couple old sweaters and hoodies and amalgamted them into an oversized heavy tee then added some screenprints to it

Lots of layered fabric, thread and details. Hope you like it

Patched, printed, laced(?), distressed and then handsewn. Took ~ 3 full days, a km of thread (0.62 miles) and a lot of blue fabric. And some lace a friend gave me, said it adds a nice touch but idk. What do you think?

Some recent sewing projects. Its my hope that someday these shirts tii will be recycled into 3rd generation t-shirts and so forth and so on until time immemorial. Whatcha think?
