I came from The Sims 4 and am fairly new to The Sims 2. I really miss the Divergent Sims mod that adds Autism, ADHD, PTSD, and mental health to the game. It adds more depth to my sims.

I've always played rotationally, even in Sims 4. But I really love angsty storylines and I want to replicate that in The Sims 2 too.

I am 17M (almost 18), and my son is 4 years old. I've been taking care of him alone for years, and I even skipped a year so I could graduate high school early.

His mom (20F) got arrested two months after for driving under the influence. My son and her twin brother, "Luke" were in the car when it happened. Nobody got seriously injured, but my son had to get stitches for his forehead.

I learned that she was about to get out a week ago when Luke informed me. I made him promise to not tell my son, because I planned on going no contact with her. We were also about to move away so I could go to college, so I didn't want my son to know that we were willingly leaving his mom behind.

Well, a day before we were supposed to move out, Luke tells my son that his mom wants to visit. So now my son knows his mom is here, and is really mad that I didn't tell him. He is refusing to come with me to college, and keeps telling me that he wants to stay with his mom.

I obviously do not want this to happen. I want my son to stay with me, and I dont want him to be with his mom. His mom is a drunk and I do not feel safe leaving him.

My parents are trying to convince me to let him meet his mom so he can make a decision properly, but I do not like this idea. WIBTAH if I refuse to let him see his mom and just take him with me to another state?

I added a University Subhood before I started playing the game. I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting for my second generation to age up.

I added Academie Le Tour, but I don't really like the look of it. It doesn't match my Custom Neighborhood. Would it be possible to remove it and add Sims State University instead? Or would it cause issues? I know it's possible to have two universities, but I don't really like that. I only like having one of each Subhood.

Hello. I'm having issues where I cannot access Live Mode for a certain household. When I'm in the neighborhood screen, I click "Enter Lot" for the family. Instead of Live Mode, it takes me to Build Mode with the Live Mode button is greyed out.

I evicted the family and tried to move them into another house. What happens is; the animation with the taxi whenever you move in plays, but the sims are missing and it takes me back to Build Mode again, with the Live Mode button greyed out.

I don't really understand how that happened. The animation played so I assume the family is there. (When I go to the neighborhood screen, it says they're living in the house).

This only happens to one specific family. The other families I play are completely fine.

I play mostly vanilla with no Mods/CC. The only thing in my Downloads folder is sim blender. I already tried disabling mods but the issue still happens.

I purchased the Legacy Collection three days ago so I'm a bit new to the game. I'm not really sure how this works since I came from the sims 4.

Do you know what causes this issue? How do I fix it??

After the passing of our lead actor, we decided to take a short break for the sake of our emotional well being. The break is getting longer and longer, so I was pretty sure that the project would end up getting scrapped.

Last week, majority of the cast and crew got together to finish the film. We only needed to shoot the last 13 pages, and then we're done. I was tasked to look for an actor that can replace the lead.

The other day, the lead actor's brother reached out and he was willing to take over the role. He wanted to honor him. Problem is, he's 26 years old. His brother was 14. He's too old for the role.

Should we hire him out of respect or should we continue to look for a replacement who's more age appropriate?

CASTING ENDS: MAY 28TH SEASON STARTS: MAY 29TH

I(15M) was assaulted at a pool party. I told my friend about it at the time but she laughed it off and told me that I did good. This kind of reaction changed my perception of the event and I never spoke up about it again because I was scared no one would believe me. I didn't even believe myself at times.

Fast forward, two years later, I got new friends. I felt really comfortable around them so I decided to tell them about this event. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my chest and I was glad that some people actually believed me.

Well, yesterday, I found out that my "friends" went off to visit my Rapist(24F). I was pretty mad about this and I demanded an explanation. They told me that they wanted to "hear her side of the story" just to check that there wasn't any miscommunication that happened. Their explanation broke me, 'cause I thought that they believed me. But if they went ahead to visit her then obviously they did not.

3 hours ago I cut them off and blocked them on everything. One of them tried to messaged me and told me that it wasn't their intention to hurt me and that they were just looking out for my well-being.
