New student here. Maybe I’m just studying too hard and the answer is obvious and right in my face? I thought this was m3+M3 which I also understood to be a minor triad. Any help would be appreciated because I really want to fix what could be wrong with my grasp on these basics before I go any further.
When I joined this sub, I felt alive again! The recipes were just what I needed as a father with a family of 5! They were nutritionally balanced, delicious, quick and easy to prepare, with simple to follow instructions. Now, and pardon me for saying this because the meals on here today are certainly wonderful in their place, but this sub is for much more than just cold ceramic dishes and various pie filling! I’m sure I’m not the only one here salivating for the former recipes, once abundant on this sub, only to frown at today’s humble Hare Krishna temple offering. I’m more than happy to help moderate this sub if it’s a matter of helping hands.
I have posted about this here in the past. At current, it’s the highest upvoted post on the sub, and has ZERO response from any moderation. Same with the sub itself.
This is my peaceful protest, in an effort to regain the heart and soul of an otherwise fabulous sub (at one point) before I ultimately abandon it.

If an augmented interval is a 1/2 step larger than a perfect, and a diminished interval is 1/2 step smaller than a perfect…. is a flat fifth augmented or diminished?
There were some awesome recipes here in the first few days of the sub launching and now all I see are these (meh) breakfast experiments. This sub had some teeth before all I was getting was the breakfast stuff. What gives, mods?
Never felt a bite and haven’t seen anything but this is the second “bite” that’s been similar to another (the first not nearly as bad but also with the red splotch). The itching is hot and intense. Also painful. Swelling was initially heavy but has gone down somewhat. 3-4 days since noticing the bite. Northern California.
In the few short months since I’ve joined this sub, my knowledge of both the guitar, and the fundamentals of music theory have exploded exponentially and I’ve got YOU to thank. From the “Is my action too high?”, to the “Circle of fifths”, from the “Check out my new app”, to the “How do I do scales fast, and shit?”, there’s knowledge to be found in ALL of it. Even if that knowledge is: “whatever you do, don’t ask a question like that!”, there’s something to be gained here.
Before this thread, I was self taught for 30 years and going absolutely NOWHERE with my playing ability. I was a good campfire guitarist, but couldn’t grasp or explain the fundamentals.

Anyways, my point is to say thank you, to remain humble myself, and to perpetuate the enormous amount of wealth in knowledge this sub has to offer. So keep those questions coming, keep those apps flowing, more techniques and spot lessons on individual topics! Keep the comments full of engaging discussion because that’s where I’ve learned the most!
And let’s try to understand that we’re ALL students*** ***of music here, regardless of our level of play.
