There are no emergency care facilities in our bloody " Palakkad Town" the best bet is AVITIS.. We all know how great the road to there is... Else take to Coimbatore / Perinthalmanna and pray nobody dies on the way? Seriously, why isn't anybody talking about this?
Nammude kocch keralathil sambavikunnath..
We see many news stories on a daily basis, giving much love and appreciation to our people's basic, digital & media literacy and general awareness. Namk ariyaalo, the political culture and student participation in democratic processes, raajyatthe matt states vach nokkumbo comparatively mechapettathaan.
Which is why it was baffling to see this news. I don't think this has been discussed much, on a national level.
It absolutely should be. If you know, you know.
Kerala is not kerala'ing like before
I am ashamed for having to do this after so many days, but better late than never.
I see many news stories on a daily basis, giving much love and appreciation to my people's basic, digital & media literacy and general awareness. It is true, the political culture and student participation in democratic processes, are admirably dynamic.

Do y'all remember that boy?

Last year this brilliant young boy gave up. He was my cousin. We were all shocked when this happened, because the child was KNOWN for being intelligent and promising. He was in the midst of working through his final project. Inspite of scoring less marks and by bad luck (now after the student protests I know it was sheer bad luck) failing a few papers, it looked like he was confident, that everything will settle down.
We come from the kind of Malayali family that has ALWAYS given utmost importance to education. Academic validation and the desire for it runs in our veins. On surface level, everything is okay and great. But this kind of *almost* consistent academic excellence gets taken for granted. Even I have noticed this wherever I go. Even though I'm by passion a humanities person, I've also tried my best to get the best out of all worlds.
But in STEM academia and professions, do y'all get this breathing space?
We (as in family) thought that we shouldn't have encouraged him to go away from home (most of his immediate family members are engineers/in that field). But recently I saw a news regarding an Arunachal boy studying at MACE, Trivandrum, who similiarly could not take this tremendous pressure. This Trivandrum college is more stubborn than a rabid dog; they claim that setting credit requirements higher than what is necessitated by the state helps them "stand out" from the usual STEM academia crowd of professionals.
If going out of your comfort zone is the point, and success is the purpose, and YET these things are happening, what and where the fuck is this comfort we are talking about?
Tl;dr : I need your honest feelings on the rising frequency of student suicides & stress-related deaths in STEM, in pre AND post-Protest India.
P.P.S: If you have nothing more to say than "if you can't handle pressure, don't go for these courses", feel free to scroll away.🖤
Instructions for life: unclear (nothing much has changed)

It was prophecied in certain texts that in Kaliyuga, everyone will become a shudra. As expected, there are many ways to interpret this.
The most important one, in my opinion, is that ignorance and arrogance have become so rampant, that quality of life freefalls. This just happens in different levels and contexts. The underprivileged and routinely downtrodden ones still struggle against the downstream, & they also find kindred spirits to help their cause.
What about the so called upper class/upper caste/culturally/financially elite circles?
After all these years and all these revolutions and movements, why do the 1% still control everything significant and influential in the world?
Will we ever learn?
Mythological stories are all greatly interconnected and progress continually, so I believe these things need to be placed in this larger context. Like, we are all in the season 4 of this cosmic fkfest 🖤
Tl;dr : I was talking here to someone about how Yuga catagorisations need to matter more, as forms of evil change with time. In this "season", I think the evil is inflated ego.
