How to do this itinerary in order

Hi everyone! My family and I live in NYC and will be visiting Niagara Falls for four days, from Sunday evening through Wednesday morning. We’re also planning to spend one day in Toronto. For those who have visited Niagara Falls. How would you group these attractions together based on their location and proximity? I’d love to plan our days efficiently and avoid going back and forth between areas.

Niagara city cruise
Journey Behind the Fall (Day or Night)
Niagara Takes Flight
White Water Walk
Whirlpool Aero Car
Butterfly Conservatory
Niagara Parks Power Station
Self-Guided Admission (Day or Night)
Floral Showhouse
All 4 Heritage Sites

Also, would you recommend doing Journey Behind the Falls during the day or at night?

Any tips on the best order or itinerary would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Traveling to Niagara Falls

Hi! Everyone, I have a US ADIT stamp on my passport (Philippine passport). Do I need to get a Canadian visa to travel by car to Canada? My green card expired and I didn’t receive an extension letter from the USCIS. I was wondering if anyone had any problems with an ADIT stamp traveling from US to Canada and going back to the US?

Home health

Hi! Everyone, I’m an OT school based for 4 1/2 years now. Had part time nursing home too past few years but they stopped calling. Been trying to get some extra money on the side and I usually still have energy after school ends and feel bored when I get home. I wanted to get a feel of what home health feels like. What do you usually do during treatment sessions? Like what diagnosis do you usually get? What treatment do you do for them? How much are you paid? Do families usually watch what you’re doing?

Watkins Glen and other Falls

Hi everyone! My partner and I are planning a trip to Watkins Glen and some of the other waterfalls in the area. I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on what to wear. Would waterproof boots or hiking sneakers be better? Are shorts comfortable, or would you recommend long pants?
Also, if you have any favorite places to visit, eat, or hang out after exploring the falls, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Airbnb host does not respond. What happens next? Should I just call airbnb customer service? Any advise? [USA]

Hi everyone, I accidentally completed my reservation for only one guest. However, there will actually be two of us staying at the Airbnb. The listing allows a maximum of three guests, so we are still within the occupancy limit.

Shortly after booking, I sent the host a request explaining that I had mistakenly selected one guest instead of two. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. I followed up again two weeks later, but the host has still not replied.

Our check-in is tomorrow, and the reservation was made one month in advance. I am concerned that the host has not responded to my messages despite multiple attempts to correct the guest count.

Could you please advise on how to proceed? Should I allow Airbnb to cancel the reservation, or is there another way to resolve this issue?

Did my check bounced?

Hi! Everyone, I wanted to ask that as of 4:00 am, my account went negative and they emailed me that it was overdrawn. It was because of a check I sent to another person. I put money on my account right away at 5:00 am after I received the email from TD bank. Will that check bounced right away? Or am I safe?

Summer orientation

Hi! Everyone, I just got into DOE as an Occupational therapist and got accepted to work for the summer school. I was wondering if anyone knows what time does in-person orientation usually and end? Is it usually the whole school day?

Remote days

I’m a new hire at DOE, and I know that June 4 and 5 are remote workdays. How do they verify that employees are online on those days? Is there a system we need to sign into?

I’m also a little confused about how Chancellor’s Day and Clerical Day work when they fall on remote days. Could someone explain how that works?

Salary question

Hello,

I am a new employee with the DOE and would like to verify that my paycheck is being calculated correctly.

I started employment in April, and my annual salary was listed as $85,047. Based on my pay statements, my gross pay every two weeks is $3,262.08 before taxes, pension dues, and UFT deductions.

When I annualize that amount ($3,262.08 × 24 pay periods), it comes to approximately $78,289 per year, which is significantly lower than the salary amount I was given.

Could you please help me understand whether this discrepancy is expected? Is it related to my being a new employee, a different pay schedule, or another factor that I may not be aware of?
