Is there a noticeable skill difference between opponents of the same rating on Chess.com vs Lichess? If so, at what rating levels does this gap show up?
Trying to open a link for a swiss tournament from whatsapp, it opens up in my phone's web browser instead of jumping straight into the actual Lichess app.
I’ve checked my Android settings and everything is set to "open in app," but it completely ignores it. It's super annoying when trying to join a tournament quickly.

I know computer analysis is disabled but i remember it also use to work for cloud analysis. Is it now just limited to local analysis? I haven't played chess for last 6 months so i don't know if it has changed in an update or is it just a glitch with me.

Google’s move to restrict installations to apps from "verified developers" is a quiet but massive erosion of user freedom. They are slowly turning Android into a walled garden just like iOS, but without the tight software optimization or long-term hardware longevity that Apple actually delivers.
If this locked-down future becomes reality, budget and mid-range users might stick with Android out of financial necessity—but flagship buyers and power users will have very little reason not to jump to Apple.
