Eco Drive Super Tough Robert Swan B872-H21947KA - PMX56-2581 20BAR (200m)

Here is my Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive Super Tough "Robert Swan" Edition (Ref. B872-H21947KA) from 1999. This is an incredibly rare piece, limited to just 500 units worldwide, and it represents the absolute peak of Citizen's late-90s over-engineered tool watch era.

This specific model was born from a collaboration with Sir Robert Swan, the legendary polar explorer who became the first person to walk to both the North and South Poles. To survive those brutal polar conditions, Citizen built this thing like a literal tank. It features a unique "case-in-case" shock-resistant construction, an incredible 16,000 gauss of magnetic resistance (four times the standard), and a distinctive tool-operated screw-down crown that requires a coin or tool to adjust, preventing any accidental movement. Driven by the bulletproof B872 Eco-Drive movement, it's a masterclass in purpose-built design. On the wrist, it has an immense, rugged presence.
