Ordering freom Weave Got Maile and...what size should I get for a jelly cube?

My son and I are going to make Jelly Cubes, and I've ordered from them before so I'm planning to top up what I already have that I'm low on (hence why ordering from them specificaly).

But, looking at their sizes and what all they have I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what sizes I should get to make a Jelly Cube. From looking online, it looks like I want an AR of 2.8-2.9, on an 18 or 16 swg. But, then, looking through WeavegotMaile's website it looks like there isn't anything even close to that AR.

That says to me that I have incorrect information, or I am misinterpreting the weavegotmaile product listings.

Any help?

Local stores to buy used models?

Im in MI near Detroit/Ann Arbor, and I want to paint some Orks. But! I don't want to *wait* to paint them, and I'm poor, so, are there any good stores in the area to check out for used boyz?

I forked up....is it too late to find long term parking?

I have a downtown room (thankfully), which is kind of why I forgot about this. I don't need the parking to be easily accessible, because I plan to drop the car off there on Wednesday and leave it there until Sunday.

Is there anywhere that still has parking available, or am I stuck paying the ridiculously high valet rate?

Update on the Batwing Top pattern link from 3 weeks ago [it's not AI]

https://www.reddit.com/r/sewingpatterns/comments/1tstm3w/comment/ooxos2n/?screen_view_count=2

I posted asking how to tell if this was AI a few weeks ago, and after mixed answers (there were factors in favor of it being AI and against it being AI), I decided that $12 is small enough for a top I would make multiples of with fabric I already have if the pattern is halfway decent, and I bought it, and made it on Saturday.

Not surprisingly, it is a very simple top with an easy construction - They described it as good for a confident beginner and I would say that seems pretty accurate. I can say for sure that it's not AI, and the instructions are remarkably well written and clear compared to a lot of other patterns I've looked at and used.

I would add the following:

For a beginner, you will get a good garment, but I would recommend adding a trim along the necklines / ends of the sleeves to help hide some of the wavyness you will get if you use a zig zag stitch on a low end sewing machine with a standard foot.

For anyone with even moderate experience, I would recommend using a serger instead of a zig zag stitch on the seams (all of them can be done with a serger, then topstitched down. I would also recommend against using a stretch fabric. If you aren't using a stretch, then you will need to add an appropriate amount of width to the waist portion, but that is an extremely easy pattern modification.

I definitely plan on making 2 to 4 more of them and adding them to my wardrobe.

Is there a way to get into ork vehicles?

Without spending a gazillion dollars? Im not particularly concerned with comptetiveness, but i also don't want to buy a bunch of old edition models only to find out they are terrible.

Question about compression fabrics

I'm making this top:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/4494165232/batwing-top-v-neck-short-sleeve-digital?transaction_id=5116299379

I was hoping to modify it so that the waist band portion has an inner lining of a compression fabric to smooth out the belly area, and maybe cinch the waist in a little. I'm not looking for extreme corset level cinching or anything, just something to define the shape a little more and hold in flab.

What kind of material should I be looking at for that?

How did I get second?

The 1st place opponent was pure state merlocs. Once I saw that, I forced a restart since there wasn't much reason to watch the full fight. Except, instead of logging back in to the game (as I expected) I saw this.

Is there a play that I may have missed, or is it just "game said too many attacks, you lose"?

Primarily Jack/Beast game mode?

In MK4, is there a primarily warjack/warmest only game mode? I originally got into warmachine because I liked the concept of big robots bashing it big monsters, with a few (say 4-6) jacks/beasts and minimal units/solos assisting.

I did find out that wasnt really what the full game was like, but its still what *I* enjoy - having set the game down since mkII, is there a mode that is basically battleground +2ish solos or one small unit, and is that mode actually played?

What to do about extra large thumbnail bed?

My thumbs are big, and I'm having difficulty finding press on nail sets that come with a size big enough for my thumb.

Are there any brands that are particularly notable for being larger size friendly?

Relatedly, is there anyone that sells large (not long, large) full cover nail tips that I could use to make my own?
