Gems of Kauravas -You decide+

In fights, speed and martial exercises, the princes were never able to get the better of Vrikodara(Bheema) in any competition. Thus, in any competition, Dhritarashtra’s sons began to hate Vrikodara, even though he bore no ill will towards them, since he was only a child.

Bhimasena’s great strength became well known. On learning this, Dhritarashtra’s powerful son 320 revealed the evil side of his nature. He was wicked and inclined towards evil. Out of delusion and greed for riches, an evil thought occurred to him. “Kunti’s son Vrikodara, the second of the Pandavas, is the best in strength. I must find some trick so as to kill him. Then I will overpower his younger brother and his elder brother Yudhishthira. I will tie them up and reign as the sovereign of the earth.”

Having made his mind up about this evil act, Duryodhana was always on the lookout for a chance to get at the great-souled Bhima.

When the games were over, they would dress themselves in fresh garments, wear ornaments and quickly eat. When day was over, the valorous Kuru princes would be exhausted from their games and would rest in that sports house. The powerful Bhima always prevailed over the other princes in water sports. But on one occasion, he was tired at there having been an excess of exercise. He wished to sleep in Pramanakoti and climbed up the bank and found a spot. He was clad in a white garment. He was tired and he was under the influence of drink*. O* king! The Pandava was tired and slept like one who was dead. Then Duryodhana quietly tied him up with thongs made of creepers. He rolled him down from the land into the swift and deep waters.

Regaining his consciousness, Kounteya 321 tore apart all the bonds. Bhima, supreme among those who wield arms, arose from the water.

On another occasion when Bhima was again sleeping, he 322 brought many snakes—sharp in teeth, immensely poisonous, angry and virulent. He made them bite him 323 in all the soft spots of his body. But even when they bit him in the soft spots, they could not bring him down. They could not penetrate his skin, because the broad-chested one was too tough. When Bhima woke up, he killed all the snakes. He and his companions 324 became very careful from that time onwards.

He also had poison mixed in Bhimasena’s food. This was freshly made kalakuta poison, so virulent that it made the hair on the body stand up. On this occasion, the Vaishya’s son 325 alerted Pritha’s sons, so as to ensure their welfare.

But though Vrikodara ate this, it had no effect on him. Though the poison was extremely virulent and was meant to kill Bhima, Bhima digested and tolerated it.

‘Then Duryodhana, Karna and Subala’s son Shakuni tried many other means to kill the Pandavas. However, the Pandavas, scorchers of their enemies, got to know about all of these. As advised by Vidura, they never revealed all this.’

What is wrong with these people commenting in rIndia meme and other sub!

So, there was a post regarding the news when the cow died, some people tried to damage the pole itself which was in a bad condition and resulted the death of cow from the electrocution- As the post states.

But the Comment is truly concerning..I guess perhaps because they all are either core leftist or are guy from metro cities and unaware of the life at the many Rural cities where farmers amd many middle-class mostly dominates.

Cow aren't just family for them but also the source income which supports their family; Infact they must have put many economic investment just to have a cow.

I Know it's not very ideal from the people there to do such stuff! But very thing thing that people are frustrated must have very numerous reasons other than people just stating" gau Mata " stuff...Some even going as far you can read in the comments well..!

In many sub it was reposted; people simply digged saying North India ..whatever!!

Edit: &I'm not saying that this was very food thing done by them but the point remains same and that there are many incident where public property is damaged in outrage!

Kunti Appreciation posts much needed!

Uff! Now-a-days some fans are obsessed enough and has extra attachment to Karna that they blame Kunti so harshly!

I am sure Kunti must have done many things for Karna as well!

Why people are being overly negative that they go as far to show Pandavas as literal Villain

Literally I argued with atleast 2 guys; one of them tried showing how Slavery was common in Mahabharata -which it wasn't and then here you go the guy showed reference where the Brahmin was gifted Das Cow property etc which the guy Interpreted as slaves and even sexual slaves being gifted to Brahmins which exactly is nonsensical type! I stated how Das and Dasi arwnt to be necesarily interpreted as 'slaves" and so..it would simply mean Serving girls and boys in the context and so (and not forced slaves and sex sla es as Ganguly translates)

But wait this isn't thw only; another guy argued how Draupadi was forced to marry 5 guys and when I stated how boon things etc was at play, he then ignored cosmic interplay boon things even went as far to show Kaurava was far better and that "boon" is the later addition to justify Pandava acts(according to them) lol!

I don't know why are they being overly pessimistic!

Guys, Relax — Radha Ji is Very Much Real in Our Tradition ❤️

I saw the post about “Radha doesn’t even exist” and I get why it confuses people, especially if you’re new to the stories. Cartoons, bhajans, and temples show Radhe-Krishna everywhere, then someone says she’s not in the these ancient scripture.

Let’s clear this simply and honestly.

The Honest Picture: Yes, the name “Radha” is not mentioned directly in Mahabharata, Harivamsa, or even the main parts of Srimad Bhagavatam. The Bhagavatam beautifully describes Krishna’s pastimes with the gopis in Vrindavan, but it doesn’t name one special gopi as “Radha” in the way we do today. That’s true.

Our scriptures have layers. And those thing clearly have the meanings..Mahabharata focuses on the adult Krishna and doesn't describe each details of Shri Krishna(especially his life in Vrindavan) in great detail!

But No, that doesn’t mean she’s fake or made up later. Our scriptures are vast.
Radha Ji appears clearly in many respected major Puranas and other ancient prominent scripture such as: Padma Purana Brahma Vaivarta Purana Skanda Purana Narada Purana Shiva PuranaDevi Bhagavata Purana And others like Garga Samhita, Narada Pancharatra, etc.

Additionally She has been eulogised by the likes of Adi Shankara and Ramanuna schools.

In these texts, she is described as the chief gopi, the eternal beloved of Krishna, the personification of divine love (prema), and even as the feminine energy (hladini shakti) of Krishna Himself.

What About the 16,000 Wives?

Krishna married 16,108 princesses after rescuing them — that’s a different story (mostly in Bhagavatam). Radha Ji is not one of those queens. She is in a completely different, eterna loka and in loving relationship (parakiya prema) that symbolizes the soul’s deepest love for God. It’s not ordinary marriage rather it’s seen as the highest spiritual love.

Jay Shree Radha Krishna 🙏
