Saw and commented on a post some time ago about What if Chris Van Allsburg made a third board game book. I felt like having a go at expanding on it more

Most of these are just half baked ideas for this game
My idea is a horror themed board game. taking place at a haunted Wax Museum (inspired the movie Waxworks) with a sort of Clue/Cludeo game setup.
The players move their shared token (which would be a little candle) on the board to any of the various rooms that contain a single Wax Figure inside (not sure how many there'd be yet)
When the players enter the room, the Wax figure comes to life and attacks. The players must defeat it (each wax figure has strengths and weaknesses) in a certain amount of time. If they defeat the wax figure, they'll get a item/or weapon that could be used to fight other wax figures. If they don't defeat it in time, the wax figure can roam around the wax museum and other rooms freely
One idea I have for a wax figure danger. Is a Zombie located in the Backyard of the wax museum. Your item/weapon for defeating it would a Trowel (hope someone gets a the reference)
Would also love a ghost wax figure too. Could be one the players can't defeat when they first enter the ghosts location on the board. Causing it to roam around freely
A slasher themed wax figure would be cool too
Also the penalty for cheating would be one of your limbs turning into Wax
That's all I got so far. Bit of a jumbled mess I know. If any of you guys have any ideas for it, I'm all ears. Wouldn't mind actually writing a story based on it

The plot: Batman and Robin encounter a group of criminals that call themselves the False Face Society. Their crimes are committed in various masks and costumes that hide their identities. When Batman goes undercover to a criminal hideout, he learns that the False Face Society has a leader that is running a tournament across the city in order to find the crook who can perform the greatest crime. The catch of the sweepstakes is that each criminal must dress in costume for their crime.
After Batman learns of this, a crook disguised as Batman tries to steal a valuable musical instrument in front of the press. When he is confronted by the real Batman he knocks out the Dark Knight and gets away. However, the crook's escape is all a ruse , and Batman has indeed captured the criminal, but he needed to fake the escape to take his place in the False Face Society contest in order to capture the entire gang. Batman is taken to an abandoned lighthouse, where the Society gathers to declare the winner of the contest. The leader of the gang starts the poll and by the end, he declares the crook disguised as Batman as the winner. The real Batman then finally understands that the leader of the Society has tricked all the criminals in the group into stealing for a tournament that was rigged in order to keep the loot all for himself. As soon as Batman makes this revelation, Robin and the Gotham City Police Department arrive at the place and capture the entire gang. Finally, Batman unmasks the leader of the False Face Society and it is revealed that the mastermind of crime was the Joker all along.
