27F BC, Canada looking for a mature, grounding presence

I’m a 27 year old student in my last few months of nursing school. I've been described as warm, attentive, and loyal. I'm also extremely introverted and keep a tight circle. I tend to do better one-on-one and with someone who prioritizes emotional intimacy over an immediate physical connection. Since I'm going through a separation, I'm looking to take things slow and build a mature and steady connection.

As someone with AuDHD, I thrive with a partner who brings gentle leadership and a calming routine to the table. I also live with chronic pain and get discouraged easily so encouragement, patience, and empathy are important to me. In return, I bring endless quality time, a fierce devotion, and genuine joy from following my partner's lead. I was previously a homemaker, which gave me a solid repertoire of domestic skills. I can cook, bake, clean, sew, and tend to a garden. I enjoy baking the most. I can make intricate vintage cakes and cupcakes, macarons, and even braid and decorate pie crust. Despite these skills and passions, I struggle with day-to-day decision making and making my routine come together. I need prompting and outside structure to make it all come together.

Some of my hobbies include watching cartoons (Max & Ruby + Studio Ghibli are my go-to), colouring, blowing bubbles, dressing up, singing, playing the piano, baking, and seeing the orchestra. I can probably also keep up with your hobbies - I have my firearms license, a compound bow, my own fishing gear/tackle, and a paddleboard.

While I can drive, I thrive as the live passenger seat radio. I am located in the Fraser Valley of BC and would prefer someone who can make the commute if it comes to that.

If you are nurturing, a good listener, and can take the lead while staying humble and selfless, please send me a 🎀 with your intro.

27F looking for a grounded, natural caregiver

I’m a 27 year old student in my last few months of nursing school. I've been described as warm, attentive, and loyal. I'm also extremely introverted and keep a tight circle. I tend to do better one-on-one and with someone who prioritizes emotional intimacy. Since I'm going through a separation, I'm looking to take things slow and build a mature and steady connection.

As someone with ADHD, I thrive with a partner who brings guidance, encouragement, a strong sense of direction, and a calming routine to the table. In return, I bring warmth, endless quality time, and genuine joy from supporting my partner's passions. I was previously a homemaker, which gave me a solid collection of domestic skills. I can cook, bake, clean, mend, and tend to a garden. I enjoy baking the most. I can make intricate vintage cakes and cupcakes, macarons, and even braid and decorate pie crust.

Some of my hobbies include watching cartoons, colouring, singing, playing the piano, baking, and seeing the orchestra. I can probably also keep up with your hobbies - I have my rPAL, a compound bow, my own fishing gear/tackle, a paddleboard, and an old pickup/grocery-getter that has about 0 off-road experience... I have a very affectionate cat also.

While I can drive, I thrive in the passenger seat as the live radio 😅. I am located in the Fraser Valley, not Vancouver proper.

If you have natural caregiving tendencies, are a good listener, and can take the lead while staying humble and selfless, please send me a DM 🤍.

For those who divorced in their 20s...

How did you know that you could make it on your own? That you could live with the "failure" of what could have been? That you could eventually move on despite the person being your whole world?

And most importantly, how has a divorce at such a young age affected your subsequent relationships?

Looking for married/couple friends!

Hi everyone! My husband and I just moved to Aldergrove and would love to find another couple to hang out with. We basically spend all our free time together and tend to keep to ourselves, but wanting to expand our bubble a bit. Hoping to find another couple in the same boat.

Some of our interests: fishing, archery, firearms, camping, paddleboarding, e-scootering. For date nights, we enjoy live comedy, the orchestra, mini golf, and arcades. We also love setting up our projector in the backyard for movies or on the back of the truck! We don't have kids, but we have two furballs (a flamepoint Siamese and a Golden Doodle). I've baked my fair share of vintage cakes/floral cupcakes and wouldn't mind showing a friend how! I also love singing and playing the piano.

My husband is a carpenter and also works on boats/atvs/cars. I am a nurse, but currently in school for upgrading.

We are open to meeting couples of different ages 🥰.

If any of this resonates with you, please send me a DM!

do neighbours judge you for having tenants?

i'm moving to langley township and wondering if my neighbours will judge me for having basement tenants?

is it frowned upon/looked down on? i know that area tends to be more conservative and there are a lot of single family homes. just want to know what to expect. thanks!

How difficult is it to find tenants in Aldergrove?

I'm considering moving into a home with an authorized 2 bedroom suite and an unauthorized 1 bedroom suite on the ground level.

The only thing is, the house is located in Aldergrove and I see that the nearest bus stop is a 20 minute walk away.

How difficult has it been for you guys to find tenants? And if you're a tenant who recently moved in, did the landlords/market in general seem desperate?

Thanks in advance!

Introverted 27F looking for a mature, grounding pen pal 🎀

I am in the process of navigating a separation from a caregiver dynamic. It's a lot to process and I could really use someone in my corner for support and grounding. Hoping for someone with a mature, steady presence who can offer guidance, encouragement, and a safe space.

Because I’m extremely introverted, a slow and steady build to a friendship is important to me. I would love to find someone to chat with or be pen pals to start and see if we click.

About me: I love colouring, music ( mostly singing and playing the piano, but also love going to see the VSO/orchestra), baking vintage cakes and floral cupcakes, and watching cartoons/movies. While I tend to be a homebody, I also have an outdoorsy side. I enjoy fishing, archery (I shoot a compound), paddleboarding, and I have my RPAL. I am currently in school for psychiatric nursing and will graduate at the end of the year. I can drive, but I definitely thrive in the passenger seat.

If you made it this far and this resonates with you, please send me a 🎀 with an intro.

27F need sincere marriage advice

If anyone here has dealt with infidelity in marriage/relationships and wouldn't mind lending an ear, I could really use some wisdom and advice.

I have reason to believe that my husband (32M) may have cheated on me in the beginning of this year.

Currently, our housing is owned by my family and he is paying rent to my mother as well as providing for me financially. I am currently in school (although my mother is paying tuition) and not working. I will be graduating in December 2026 so I expect to be a nurse by January 2027.
