I used to sacrifice animals for Eid.

In 2014, I saw what was happening to Cows in the dairy industry.

I couldn't unsee it.

So I became Vegan.

I'm still Muslim. I just couldn't keep hurting animals once I knew 🤍

Week 232 of #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse.

I dry fast every weekend for 24 hours to raise awareness about animal suffering.

This week’s message: I follow Islam. I don’t eat animals 🤍

I completed week 231 of my campaign #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse this Sunday. A 24 hour dry fast campaign to create awareness about Animal cruelty.

I don't eat Animals because I believe they deserve to live, not be eaten. ❤️

They feel pain, fear, joy and love, just like the Animals we call companions, just like you and I.

You don't have to hate animals to eat them.

Sometimes we don't question what we've been taught to see as normal.

What if compassion has no species? 🐶🐄

Buffaloes are sentient beings who value their lives, feel pain and fear, and deserve to live free from violence. Their lives are not ours to take, exploit or turn into commodities 🤍🐃
