Everything hurts so bad

I am a 30, M. 145 Kgs, 170cms

Not just does it hurt emotionally with the fact that we always have to put in extra efforts, be compromising, put on a fake smile always and still be unnoticed most of the times.

But, physically everything hurts. Feet, neck, back...

I have not been able to sleep properly in the past few weeks because in whatever position I try to sleep, my lower back hurts. I just keep adjusting here and there, but its not helping. Especially the right side of the lower back, just above hips.

What should I do to sleep better please?

Found out my colleague's salary...

In the same company for 3 years.

Moved internally into a different department 3 months ago, with little core experience in the new department. A very good opportunity for me, got a 30% hike from my last role. The average yearly appraisal in the company is about 15% anyway.

Everything was good until I got to know an estimate of the salary of my colleagues. They have been offered 4x more ESOPs and RSUs as well. (I haven't got any RSUs; as far as I know, they are offered only above 35LPA base)

Approximately 2X to 2.5X of my Base - but they are hired at my position. Now I feel really jealous.

Have you been in this situation? How did you overcome your jealousy?

Have been advised mounjaro. Have questions.

Hi all,

I am M30, 170cms and 142KGs. Recently I went to a doctor and have been advised to Mounjaro. I am seriously considering it because I am able to see health issues. Restricted movements, lethargy, overall low feeling, shame, no clothes fit, foot pain, back pain, and productivity issues.

Still, I have a few reservations. Wanted to ask with you all. Please help!!

In the past 7 years twice I reduced about 25 kgs without medication . Then stopped eating well and exercising and grew more than that.

I know there's a lot of study/ research material available and will read it, but if you could help:

  1. She said it's a life long treatment? Has asked to take Mounjaro for a year or two and then switch to lower dose sema-glutide. Is this how it usually works.

  1. I am really concerned about costs. It's very expensive in India and not covered under insurance. And my mind keeps thinking what a failure I am that it has come to this. I don't have insulin resistance issues. Blood work is normal, except being pre-diabetic because of my eating habits.

It feels sad I am not able to beat this addiction normally. Do I still have a chance normally?

  1. They say your weight grows back after Mounjaro. Quick question. Is it because food noise returns and we start eating again, and can this be avoided with lifestyle change OR Mounjaro itself keeps your fat reduced and that reduced fat grows even if we are in a calorie deficit?

(When I ate clean, more protein and exercised well. My food noise had gone. But when I stopped, I started eating again)

Thank you in advance.

What are your thoughts on Mounjaro?

Advised to take Mounjaro, need your thoughts

M, 30.

Current weight is 142 KGs, height 170 CMs.

Lost 20+ kgs twice, once in 2017 with Keto and recently in 23/24 using calorie deficit, high protein diet.

Gained all and more back. Once I stop I fucking cant get back to eat.

Have suffered with multiple addiction issues in the past. And the same happens with food now. Compulsive, binge eating.

Did blood tests recently. Pre diabetic, tsh on the rise, cholesterol on the edge.

Went to endocrinologist today. Doctor suggested Mounjaro for 1 year. And then sema-glutide for lifelong.

I feel I need this too. Will help.

But want to know your thoughts? Has anyone you know taken mounjaro? How are they doing now?
