Northern Mockingbird having a bad hair day? 🥴😄

Saw it yesterday morning in our backyard and wasn't close enough to identify (mockingbird?... but what's on it's head? lol) then it showed up again yesterday evening and I grabbed my phone for a pic. Is it molting?

His nose when we adopted him

It took months to heal. Would start looking good for awhile and then break open again

Hi 😊 I'm only only 8% Boxer, but prior to my DNA results, people were guessing I might be part Boxer.

I'm often told how pretty I am and I did inherit some Boxer personality too 🥊😁

I've been looking at Coyote pics on this sub and this one looks a bit different to me. Has anyone in SoCal seen similar?

A few weeks ago I posted this pic asking guesses on her bull breed + ??? heritage with Embark. Lots of great replies! For those of you who guessed she has some Boxer... you were right! 😊

Hi 👋🏼 New here. Wanted to share a few pics of a coyote that decided to take a nap in our front yard, two days in a row.

The second day it napped for over an hour before it spotted me and slowly moved on.

We had to say goodbye to him in May of 202, at almost 14 years old. He was given only 4 days to live at the shelter, and...

he couldn't be adopted by the general public because the shelter staff was afraid of him. He was described as "big, shy, scared". He was only available to an approved rescue, and still in the 11th hour, no one would pull him. He was approximately 2 years old at the time.

Fortunately we knew someone who volunteered at the shelter and she helped us find a rescue that pulled him for us last minute... before euthanasia. They immediately handed him over to us and omg... best boy EVER for 12 years. Still so very missed 💔🌈🐾🕊
