Quarantine 2023. I was so happy when she arrived...
but also worried how she'd adjust here. All good ❤️❤️
Me at the Humane Society with a broken humerus.. they were preparing to amputate my leg. Fortunately I was found by a couple who adopted me and they didnt even charge them an adoption fee for me. "Take her" they said!
My leg break had occurred almost a month before adoption, so the orthopedic surgeon told my new family that surgery prognosis was "extremely guarded". I still have my leg... a slightly off gait.. but I am SO happy !

He's a rescue that was surrendered to the shelter by his original owner when he was a year old. "Bought from a breeder". Regardless, he's an amazing and very loyal family guardian 💛
Apparently we have a small group here. For those of us that post our beauties on other subs, it can be brutal!
reddit.comI was at the shelter for almost a year, adopted and returned twice. They told mom and dad they felt sorry for me, I was a Pit X that no one liked. I can be a little grumpy 🤷♂️ DNA after adoption said.... 🥁🥁🥁
Saw my rheumatologist on Tuesday and she finally said it, "You're in remission"! I honestly felt like I was for about a year before that but she didn't want to jump the gun.
🙏🏻 it will continue! Anyway, during my visit, she mentioned and gave me a brochure on the SETPOINT SYSTEM. Has anyone tried it? If so, thoughts?
